Chapter 136

To Sirius, the smile Adria had upon her lips was like a blessing to him, whenever he got to see it, with her eyes crinkling in delight and her eyes shining in adoration whenever she looked at him, and whilst that smile was on her lips right now as she lay on her bed, her eyes watching Sirius as he watched her, he never saw it.

Because although he was watching her, with his head lying at the bottom of her bare stomach, his eyes weren't on her smile, but rather the tattoo chasing around her waist with fascination in his eyes and a perfect smile - to Adria - resting on his lips.

His hands traced over the skin of the tattoo whenever it passed, a cat chasing a dog, it was beautiful, especially inked onto Adria's skin, he wanted to see it when she fell asleep, but as she watched him, with her hand running through his hair, that wasn't going to happen anytime soon.

"It's late," Sirius whispered, pulling his eyes from her body to look in her eyes, "should we sleep?"

"Not just yet," she frowned, "I'm rather comfortable like this, unless you're tired."

He shook his head softly, "I was just making sure you weren't."

"Can I ask you something?"

He laughed softly as he nodded, moving to press his lips to her stomach softly before leaning back to look at her, "of course you can."

"What happened between you and Regulus?" she whispered, "you don't have to tell me if you don't want to, but he's your brother, and don't think I've forgotten you punching him, Sirius."

"He deserved that for what he done to you," Sirius grumbled bitterly, his hands on either side of her and his eyes narrowed ever so slightly.

"Yes, I was shaking in my boots when he talked to me," Adria rolled her eyes sarcastically, softly moving her hand to run it through his hair again, "what happened?"

"When we were younger, I was always different," he sighed, "meaning, when my mum told us that we couldn't play with the two boys just down the street from us, I wondered why, why where they different? Why couldn't we play with them, they're just two boys our age? Regulus, on the other hand, made sure to do everything he could to make sure mum was impressed with him.

We were the best brothers for a while, laughing, joking, having a fun time, but it just changed suddenly, I suppose it was my fault, if I hadn't said anything to my mum then it would be okay, she was going on about muggleborn's, saying mudblood and the lot, saying that Andromeda was a blood traitor, and that set me off, really, because Andromeda was the only person I really got love from, the one who actually made sure I was okay if she ever came around, and then she married Ted Tonks, who is amazing, really, but he's a muggleborn and mum wasn't having it.

So I told mum, I said to her that muggleborn's aren't bad, they are still people, well something along those lines, I was an angry child, and she, well she slapped me, and Regulus saw, he was on the stairs looking in on us as it happened, and my cheek stung for hours, I had fallen to the ground with the force of her but I just got up, and it was then, really, that I realised how much my family where a bunch of arses.

Regulus followed me up the stairs to my room, and I thought he would agree with me, about my family, that they were terrible, but I knew he had a soft spot for mum, really, so partly, I wasn't surprised when he said I deserved it. we argued for so long that night, and after that, I barely spoke to him again, and then he talked to you and I couldn't help myself, I was blinded by rage, you hated me, Adria, but I didn't hate you, that was bloody impossible, so when he talked to you, even looked at you, I just lost it!"

Adria pushed herself forward ever so slightly, moving her hands to cup each side of his face and guiding him closer to her, she pressed her lips to his, laughing ever so slightly when he guiding them down so that he hovered over her, slightly confused as to why she decided to kiss him but in no way, was he complaining.

"What was that for?" he whispered, his hands at either side of her as she stared up at him, his face still cupped in her hands, and a small smile twitching at his lips.

"You are so bloody amazing, Sirius Black," she whispered, "and if I ever see your mum again I'll be the one slapping her."

He let a soft laugh escape his lips as he ducked his head ever so slightly, pressing his lips to hers again, "I think your mum actually took care of that."

"You've told me she's hut you before, Sirius," Adria whispered, her thumb tracing soft patterns over his cheek, "how much?"

"It's not important," he mumbled, pushing himself down to rest his head on her stomach, feeling her legs wrap around him, she let out a sigh.

"It is important," she whispered, "because I need to know the numbers to double how much I hurt her back."

He moved his head to look at her, seeing the frown on her lips, and with a sigh, he turned around fully, reaching for her hands, "I may have had a bad childhood with her, Adria, but as far as I'm concerned I never have to see her again, and that is all because of you, and because of James, and Remus and Peter, and when I think of you, Adria, or the boys, I think of my family, you are my family, Benji, Alfie, Jude, Alina, Lia, Arden, the boys, are my siblings, Douglas is my dad, Judy was my mum, no, she is my mum, you are mine, Adria, the love of my life, and the brightest light I have ever came across, and I am so in love with you, I'm so grateful for you, I've been blessed with a miracle, an angel, and that angel is you, I'm not going to dwell on the past when I can't change it, but I can hope for the future, and my future will be perfect with you beside me."

She bit her lip as she leaned forward, guiding his head once again to capture his lips, a lot more passionately than before, her legs around his waist and her hands in his hair, "you are my family, Sirius, until the end of time."

"He likes the swings more than he likes me," Adria scoffed as she pushed Jude gently on the swings, a grin on her lips as she looked over in the direction of Sirius, his smile wide as he leaned against the pole of the swing set, his hands stuffed in the pockets of the leather jacket, "are you trying to look punk rock because you're too cool for the swing park?"

"Oh shush," he scoffs, rolling his eyes as he pushes himself up, moving to stand beside her behind the baby swing that Jude occupied and attacking her lips with a kiss as he gently pushed her out of the way, pushing the swing whilst Jude's giggles filled the air.

"How cute," Adria smirked, snapping a picture with her camera that she had gotten years ago, of the two, a smile adorned Sirius' lips whilst Jude's hands waved in the air, his head thrown back as he kicked his legs.

"Of course I am," Sirius spoke, "Jude on the other hand-"

"Hey!" Adria exclaimed, putting her camera back into her bag that sat in the pram near the swing set, "Jude is cuter than you are!"

"Oh, is he?!" Sirius asked, his eyebrow arched as he watched her lift the boy from the swings, much to his disappointment.

"Yes," she nodded, moving closer to the boy taller than her and pushing onto her tiptoes to sneak a kiss, "but I must admit that you're hotter."

"Poor Jude," Sirius tutted, moving the things from the seat of the stroller and putting them in the underpart so that Adria could strap in her brother, "have you noticed the amount of looks we've had since we've entered the park?"

Adria lifted her head to look at the amused look on Sirius' lips and with a smile of her own, she nodded, "oh yes, who knew that complete strangers could be so judgmental."

"I know," Sirius chuckled, reaching for her hand as she pushed herself up just after strapping an excited Jude in, "have they never seen a baby before?"

"They think me and you are his parents," she laughed, kissing his cheek as she gripped the handle of the stroller.

"Well we could be, why is it such a big deal?" asked Sirius, frowning as he held the gate of the park open for Adria to exit out of, making sure that the knitted hat on his head wouldn't fall off with the slight wind that was picking up. He quickly moved to grab the blanket from under the stroller, fixing it over Jude so that he wouldn't get cold.

"It's not," Adria shook her head, "well to us, but to judgmental old people it's shocking!"

"I would be a hot dad," Sirius nodded, "you'd be the hottest mum."

Adria let out a laugh as she pushed him gently, "we'd have the hottest child."

"Oh, we would," he nodded, "Sirius junior."

"There is no way I am naming my child Sirius Junior," she shook her head, clasping her hand over her mouth at how offended Sirius looked.

"Why not?!" he exclaimed, his eyes wide as he stared at her, "what's wrong with Sirius junior?!"

"I already have one Sirius in my life, I don't need another," she teased, laughing as he scoffed, "and who's to say that they will be a boy?"

"Well if it was a boy," Sirius rolled his eyes, "then Sirius, and if it's a girl, Siriette."

"You can piss off if you think we are naming our child Siriette," Adria let out a loud laugh, "and besides, I actually need to be pregnant for that."

"Well you could be," Sirius winked, watching the blush attack her cheeks as she rolled her eyes.

"I am not," she scoffed, rolling her eyes and pushing him once again, "I'm also far too young to be pregnant, I wouldn't be a judgmental arse if it happened, but I can barely take care of myself, never mind a little baby!"

"You take care of Jude as if it's second nature," Sirius smiled softly, throwing his arm around her shoulder, "and we don't even need to have children, and if we did, I think that's a talk for the future."

"I think you're right," she nodded, leaning into him as they crossed the street, "my dad told me the other day that Jude has never had ice cream."

"What?!" Sirius exclaimed, leaning over the stroller to look at the boy, "I was rooting for you, Jude!"

"So obviously, we're going for ice cream now," Adria grinned, turning to Sirius who couldn't help but laugh, "the one we went to not that long ago is just up here."

"Oh, that was a good one," Sirius nodded, finally seeing the building sticking out amongst the duller buildings and opening the door for the two when they arrived, "y'know, he may not like chocolate, he may like mint chocolate chip, you have to give him options."

"He'll love chocolate," Adria spoke, "won't you Jude, you'll love chocolate, huh?" she giggled leaning over to look at the laughing Jude.

"Well, it won't hurt to buy more than one," Sirius smirked, watching Adria pick Jude up from his stroller, and soon was she sitting on one of the seats at the small counter near the window with him on her lap, "I suppose you want chocolate ice cream?"

"Always," Adria nodded, her arms around Jude as she grinned at her boyfriend, "Jude and I can share, though."

"Mhmm," Sirius chuckled.

"Sirius Black why is there strawberry ice cream in front of me?" Adria asked, her eyes narrowed to slits as she looked down at the ice cream right beside the tub filled with chocolate.

"We have to let Jude decide what he likes best, Addy," Sirius laughed softly, taking Jude from her grip and sitting him on the counter, "right Jude?"

"Right!" the boy nodded, clapping his hands together excitedly, unsure of what the two in front of him where even talking about.

"See?!"

"Well, he can have some chocolate first, so that you know you've wasted money on strawberry," her nose scrunched in disgust as she scooped a small amount of the chocolate ice cream onto the plastic spoon, and soon was she feeding Jude with it.

It took him a minute to respond, but soon had Jude's face scrunched in disgust at the taste, and that was when Sirius quickly stopped the boy from dirtying himself when he moved forward with the napkin in his hand when the ice cream fell from the boy's mouth, "this is why we needed options, Ads."

"I am shocked," she whispered, furiously shaking her head, "he is bloody obsessed with chocolate!"

"Let's try mint," Sirius chuckled, scooping some of the ice cream onto the spoon in his hand and slowly feeding it to Jude.

The boy didn't have the worst experience with mint ice cream than what he did with Chocolate, for starters, he didn't let it fall from his mouth, but his nose scrunched up in the same disgust was enough indication that he didn't like it.

"You have some bad taste, Jude," Sirius tutted, an amused look on his lips at Adria's shocked features, and soon had he the strawberry ice cream on the small spoon, guiding it in Jude's direction. He fed the boy the ice cream, watching as the wide grin erupted onto his lips as he giggled, furiously nodding his head.

"More!" he screeched, looking with wide eyes at Sirius who couldn't help the laugh that escaped his lips.

"Unbelievable!"
