Chapter 122

"I love Christmas!" Adria beamed, sitting cross legged on the couch with Alfie and Sirius sitting at each side of her and Jude sitting on her, they had all just finished opening all of their presents and soon was Douglas left to clean up the mess they all had made, "it's great, isn't it?"

"It is," Sirius nodded, leaning forward to press a surprised kiss to her cheek and then kissing Jude's forehead, "I love it, but that's the fifth time you've said that."

"Oh shush, I just love it so much!" she grinned, leaning on Alfie who couldn't help but laugh at her, "will you be here next Christmas?" she whispered, looking up at him as he nodded.

"With your niece or nephew," he smiled, watching the grin fall onto her lips as she hugged him tightly.

"Oh no," Douglas groaned as he walked into the living room, "I seem to have forgotten to tell you all something."

"It's nine in the morning please don't tell us you've already burned the turkey!" Alina exclaimed, earning a loud laugh from the others.

"No, but in all honesty, that sounds much better," Douglas grumbled, running a hand through his hair, "your cousins are coming to visit, as well as my lovely sister, and if you aren't on your best behaviour I'll ground you, blah, blah, blah, that goes for you two as well!"

"Oh no," Adria shook her head furiously, "I thought we got rid of them when we moved!"

"So did I," Douglas huffed, shaking his head, "now can we please make ourselves look a tiny bit presentable!"

"Please don't tell me it's the one that likes me that's coming," Sirius whispered as he followed Adria up the stairs to her room, watching her turn with a sympathetic smile, "oh no!"

"I know," Adria grumbled, pushing herself into her room before lifting Sirius' hoodie that she had worn to bed over her head.

"Ads," Sirius trailed off as he watched her, unsure if he was even able to look away as he closed the door behind her, but as she turned around, a frown on her lips as she looked at him with her eyebrow raised.

"What?" she laughed, wiggling her eyebrows as she spoke, "like what you see?"

"Definitely," Sirius scoffed, "but aren't you uncomfortable with me seeing you like that?"

"Should I be?" she asked, it wasn't as if she was completely undressed, she still had her bra on and her shorts, "I see you shirtless all the time, what's the big deal?"

"Absolutely nothing," he smirks, pushing himself forward before she lifted her arms up, stopping him.

"We need to get dressed," she giggled, taking his hand and kissing him quickly, "also I need you to wear this," she grins, handing him the hoodie she had just taken off.

"What, why?" he laughed, watching as she rummaged through his trunk for another hoodie as he watched with a smirk, as much as he complained about her stealing his clothes he couldn't say that he didn't love her in them.

"Because it doesn't smell like you anymore," she shrugged simply, unaware of the fact that his heart was doing cartwheels in his chest.

"That's why you wear my clothes?" he asked, his eyebrow raised as she watched her grab another hoodie.

"Of course," Adria laughed softly, "I love you, and how you smell and your clothes are always much more comfortable but I think it's just because they are yours."

"Oh merlin, how is it possible to love you more than I already do?" Sirius whispered, grabbing her hand and pulling her closer to him where he sat on the bed, a smile on his lips as she sat on his laps.

"I love you," she giggled, kissing his nose as he smirked.

"To the moon and back?" he asked, his eyebrows raised as she grinned, nodding her head and capturing his lips with hers.

"And a stop within the stars," she whispered, "now should I make an effort to get dressed so that I look presentable for dad's sake, or should I just put on your hoodie because I hate them?"

"Well, as much as I wouldn't mind seeing you in anything," he shrugs, "or nothing-"

"Sirius," she glares, earning a smirk from him as he tightens his grip around her.

"I think, for your dad that you should make a little bit of effort," he laughs softly, "and if you want, I'll wear my leather jacket."

"You will?" she grins, nodding her head excitedly, "we need to make sure that you don't forget it when we're packing our trunks."

"What is it that you love so much about that bloody jacket?" Sirius laughed, shaking his head.

"It's not the jacket I love," she scoffed, shaking her head as she leaned her head on his shoulder, kissing the bare skin of his arm quickly before turning to look at him, "it's who's wearing it."

He stopped to look at her, a small smile finding his lips as he stared at her intently, seeing her eyes wide and bright as she watched him, and finally, with his hand on the side of her face did he whisper, "you are going to be the death of me, Adria Hopkins."

-

"I'm not jealous," Adria grumbled, rolling her eyes as she sat between Alina and Lia on the couch, her arms folded and a seemingly permanent glare placed on her cousin as she clung to Sirius, a wide grin on her lips as she laughed, and with every passing moment, Adria grew much more irritated.

"Of course you're not," Lia chuckled, sharing a look with Alina who couldn't help her giggles that poured from her lips.

"No, you're obviously not," Alina shook her head, patting Adria's shoulder as she done so.

It seemed as though knowing that Sirius was dating Adria just made Madison that bit more determined to try and win him over, and whilst she was so clearly failing, that didn't stop Adria as she glared at her. Sirius was evidently uncomfortable, but with Madison's parents and Douglas there he didn't want to seem impolite, but of course, he couldn't see the look on Adria's face, and if he had, then he surely wouldn't be with her cousin.

"Oh is Adria jealous?" Benji scoffed as he sat on the arm of the couch, his hand clasped in Arden who could hear Adria's jealous from upstairs, whilst Benji had earned a cold glare from his twin, "go get him!"

"What? No!" Adria exclaimed, "dad said not to cause trouble, so I'll endure my annoyance."

"For dad?"

"For dad," Adria confirmed, nodding her head as her eyes trailed to her dad who was pinching the bridge of his nose to stop himself from replying sarcastically to the comment that Adria's uncle had made about his job.

"Look at her," Adria grumbled, "trying to flirt with him as if she doesn't know that he's mine."

"So possessive," Benji scoffed, "and she's clearly doing it to annoy you."

"Well, it's working," Adria snapped, her voice quiet as she forcefully pulled her eyes away from them, and then, that's when she heard it, the giggling. She was sure she was having flash backs to her fourth year when she had a terrible crush on Sirius and he was off having fun with other girls, and whilst she had no reason to hate those girls back then, seeing as she wasn't with Sirius then, she was with Sirius now, and the sound travelled through her ears like a knife, sending a bubbling fury into her stomach.

"That's it," she growled, pushing herself up from her space on the couch, unaware of the look that Alina and Lia had shared from behind her.

"Wait for it," Alina smirked.

"Don't do anything stupid!" Lia sang, grinning as she moved over so that Benji could sit down.

Adria didn't want to annoy her dad, she didn't want her aunt and uncle having anything else to hate her with, but then again, she didn't bloody care all that much what her aunt and uncle thought of her, it really hadn't crossed her mind before, but that didn't calm her nerves that she annoyingly seemed to have.

She gently grabbed Sirius face, guiding him to look at her before pushing herself forward, her lips smashing onto his forcefully, so much that Madison's hand dropped from Sirius' arm and his wrapped around Adria tightly, stumbling slightly at the force of her lips but managing to regain himself.

As much as it was rather odd seeing his daughter kissing a boy, Douglas couldn't help but be thankful that Madison's high pitched giggles weren't clouding the air of his house, he didn't really know what he would do if he had to hear her go on about how much she just loved Sirius' hair, not exactly getting the message that anytime she went to touch it, he would take another step back.

"Adria," Sirius whispered, unable to hide his amusement at the look she was giving him, "you alright?"

She rolled her eyes, grabbing his hand before throwing a look at Madison, and soon was she pulling Sirius along and up the stairs of the house, a huff escaping her lips as she pushed herself into her room, throwing herself onto her bed and crossing her legs.

"Can you believe her?!" she shrieked, her arms flailing around as she watched Sirius lean against the wall, pushing the door closed as he done so, "how bloody annoying, and the giggling, oh merlin the giggling, that reminded me of fo-" she cut herself off, seeing Sirius' eyebrow raised as he folded his arms.

"Reminded you of what?"

"Nothing," she mumbled, huffing as she crossed her arms angrily, throwing herself back onto her bed to calm herself, but that didn't help as she pushed herself up, "and another thing, she knows that you're my boyfriend, why would she do that?!"

"I don't know, baby," Sirius shook his head, his thoughts clouded as he watched her get more and more jealous.

"I mean, she can't be that much of a twat can she?!" Adria growled, running a frustrated hand through her hair, "if I could hex her bloody hell I would."

"I wouldn't tell," Sirius smirked, eyeing her up and down as her cheeks reddened from anger, "I like jealous Adria."

"Jealous?" she repeated, her voice loud as she shook her head, "I'm not jealous, why does everyone keep saying that!"

"It looks like you're jealous, baby girl," the words rolling off his tongue as he used the nickname he knew she loved.

"I was merely saving you from her," she shrugged, rolling her eyes as she sat her wand on her bedside table, returning to her position cross legged on her bed.

Sirius pushed himself forward, a smirk on his lips as he took a seat in front of her, his hand finding hers as he intertwined their fingers and slowly he moved closer to her, watching as her eyes avert to his lips quickly and his smirk widens as he presses the tiniest kiss to her jaw, "well," he whispered, his lips trailing down her skin to kiss her neck, feeling satisfied when he heard her breath hitch, "I'm almost certain," he mumbles as he kisses her collarbone, "that you," he breaths out as his lips brushes her skin on their way up to her ear, "are jealous," he tuts as he looks at her in the eye, hearing her breaths heavy and her lip between her teeth.

Then suddenly his lips are on hers roughly, but with so much passion as his hands rake her body, gripping tightly at her hips whilst her arms hang around his neck and her legs wrap around his waist. She can't help herself as her hands sneak into his hair, pulling him much closer to her as he pulls away only slightly to catch his breath, his smirk turned to a smile as he takes her in, pressing soft kiss on her jaw as she finds her breath.

She guides his head to look at her again, biting her lip as she slowly kisses him, the feeling of his lips against hers, moving slowly but filled with so much love was enough to drive her crazy, she was still trying to catch her breath as her lips moved with his and then does she mumble against them, "I may have been a little bit jealous, but just a little bit."
