[Tsukishima POV]
"You've got to be kidding me." I said.

"We should just stay the night here." Kageyama said pulling out one of the stored gymnastic mats to sleep on.

"Someone will notice the keys to the gym are gone though." Asahi said.

"So what? It would be more troublesome if someone came in here in the morning and saw Yamaguchi tied to a chair with his head bashed in." I argued.

"And who's fault do you think that is?" Asahi asked.

"He was running away to find someone to get us kicked out of the store. What would you have done?" I yelled. Asahi went silent. We both knew he would do the same thing.

"We need to make up an excuse as to why Yamaguchi isn't coming home tonight too." Daichi said quietly from a corner of the storage room.

"Okay. I'll call his mom and tell him he's spending the night with me. We've known each other for a while so she won't think twice about it." I said picking up my phone and leaving the storage room to make the call.

[Nishinoya's POV]

I dug through (y/n)'s bag which thankfully had her name on it. At first, I thought just seeing the bag was enough evidence that she was here, but what if someone had the same name as her? I found her phone, which had a picture of her as her Lock Screen and a volleyball keychain on the case that I bet was given to her by Coach Ukai. There was also a bracelet, maybe a friendship bracelet? It looked handmade. I'm sure she wouldn't notice if this disappeared.

I took the bracelet and made my way out of the room without being spotted, then made my way back home. I got enough evidence for the day.

Noya

Hey wassup

Think you can sneak out and come to the school?

Finally being tiny is useful
Yeah sure why

You'll see when you get here

Ok

Half way home I got a text from Tanaka telling me to come to the school. Thankfully I was close by, and there was no need for me to sneak out. The gym doors were already open when I got there.

"Hello?" I called out.

"We're back here." Tanaka said from what sounded like the storage room.

I opened the door to see Kageyama laid out on a gymnastics mat, Daichi in a corner, Tsukishima on his phone, Hinata tossing a ball up in the air out of boredom, Sugawara half asleep, asahi in another corner deep in thought, Tanaka playing with a ripped net, and most shocking of all, Yamaguchi tied up in a chair with blood coming from his head.

"What happened?" I asked them.

"You seem oddly calm about it." Daichi yawned.

"So do you." I retorted.

Yamaguchi woke up and looked around. He tried to scream, but his mouth was sealed with multiple layers of tape wrapping around his head. He looked at me and motioned to help him out, but I still didn't even know what happened.

"Yamaguchi, just shut up. He's not going to help you." Tsukishima said annoyed.

"I still don't know what happened." I said.

"Yamaguchi tried to run away to get us in trouble when we were looking for (y/n) so I stopped him." He answered.

"Can't say I wouldn't have done the same." I told him.

"See Asahi?" Tsukishima teased, but received nothing but a glance.

"So what are we gonna do with him? Just leave him here? And for how long?" I questioned him.

"As long as it takes for him to understand that all of this is for (y/n), and that we're not letting him do anything to get in the way of that." Tsuki answered.

"And if it doesn't work? What if he still doesn't understand?" I persisted.

"You sure do ask a lot of questions. He's ruining our fun little game. If he doesn't want to play nice then we can take him out completely." He answered.

"I won't say anything about it. That's one less person getting in my way." Kageyama agreed.

I jumped onto the rest of the stacked up gymnastics mats and fell asleep.

Close to 4am, all of our alarms went off. Usually around this time we'd be getting ready for morning practice, but since we were already at the gym in our attire, we just turned them off and tried to get a little bit more sleep. Key word, tried.

Yamaguchi wouldn't stop yelling after he woke up, just hoping someone, anyone would come and save him. As I was about to get up and do something about it, Tanaka got up instead, so I waited to see where it was headed.

"I'll give you a warning first. If you don't stop screaming I'll punch you. The more you scream, the harder I punch. Got it?" Tanaka explained. Yamaguchi nodded his head, but right after began shouting again. "You shouldn't have done that."

Tanaka punch Yamaguchi, Turing his head to one side. You would've thought he would make the first punch light, as a sign he wasn't kidding, but no. The first punch was already hard. And it was only going to get worse from there.

"Poor Yamaguchi." Hinata sighed.

"Yeah. It's a shame isn't it." Sugawara agreed.

Yamaguchi made even more noise. It was still muffled like the rest of his screams, but you could tell he was saying "help me!" Very slowly, but aggressively. Tears ran down his face but it was hard to tell if he was more mad or sad. Maybe both?

Tanaka gave Yamaguchi another punch, and all you could hear was a snap, very clearly indicating that he broke his nose.

"Ouch." I said. I wouldn't want to be in his position right now. It was starting to get hard to watch. Blood dripped from his nose onto his white uniform, staining it even further.

Now Yamaguchi was only screaming from the pain of his nose being broken, but he couldn't help that. Tanaka didn't care though. He saw more noise as an opportunity to get in another punch.

*BOOM*

Yamaguchi was knocked out, his chair now tipped over sideways on the floor. I looked at Tanaka, and then at his hand. It was bloody from both Yamaguchi's face and his own fist, but he just shook it off. None of us even tried to stop him.

Tanaka propped Yamaguchi's chair back upright. "Next time he'll remember that when he even thinks about screaming."
