[Your POV]
"You know, I'm gonna miss air conditioning." Nishinoya sighed. "And my hair gel. No more of this hair style."

"Air conditioning or (y/n)?" Tanaka whispered, but it was still loud enough for me to hear. Nishinoya just nodded.

The bus came to a stop. Kuroo stood up and turned to face everyone. "Okay this should be far enough right?"

"Yeah. Thanks for driving all this way." Daichi thanked him.

"It's not like I'm leader or anything, but we're all gonna die soon without food or water so I propose this: Daichi and asahi, you two can go get the water. Kuroo, Bokuto, you go get food. Oikawa since you care about tsukishima, you can leave to go find some medical supplies. You'll be gone the longest since we're in the middle of nowhere." Sugawara said. "The rest of us will stay on the bus."

"You're right. Who made you leader?" Kuroo argued.

"Just do what he says Kuroo. He has a point. If he wasn't gonna say it I would have." Kenma stepped in.

"You're just saying that because he didn't tell you to do anything."

"Let's go Kuroo." Bokuto stood up.

"Whatever."

"The rest of you, let's play a little game okay?" Suga continued after the five of them left the bus.

Making my way towards where Hinata was sitting, I slowly asked, "What type of game?"

"Let's play a game I made up called 'what happened earlier' shall we?"

"And what do you think happened earlier, Sugawara-san?" Hinata growled.

"I don't know, you tell me."

"Hinata... just tell us what happened." Nishinoya advised.

"Nothing happened. You guys told me to make sure (y/n) was okay so that's what I did, and we came back."

Sugawara paused for a second. "Liar."

I froze. I could feel drops of sweat gliding down my face. This felt like an interrogation rather than a game. What was Sugawara trying to do here?

"Oi, if you're hiding something just spit it out. My life's on a countdown timer and I don't want to spend the rest of it listening to you two talk all day." Tsukishima barked from behind where I was sitting. Even though I couldn't see him, his words rung through my ears like he was right in front of me.

My breathing got heavy. To distract myself, I looked out the window and noticed the sun was already disappearing behind the trees. Had we really been driving for this long already? The bus was silent too. I hope I was the only one who could hear how fast my heart was beating.

*SNAP*

My eyes shot back at Sugawara's hand. His snap echoed loudly throughout the quiet bus "Pay attention to me." He said aggressively. This is the first time I've seen him act like this. "Fine. If you won't say it, I will. Earlier when (y/n) was 'using the bathroom', she was actually trying to run away from us and—"

"You bastard, you let her run away!?" Kageyama grabbed Hinata by the collar.

"She's right here why does it matter what happened before?!"

"And you just decided not to tell us this information for what reason?"

"Like I said, why does it matter!?"

"It matters because if it happens once, it'll happed again, over and over until she actually does finally escape, and then what will all of this have been for?"

"That's what I'm saying." Sugawara innocently shrugged his shoulders. "Obviously we have to do something with this new information."

"Suga..wara-san, is it? How do you know what happened earlier? Last I remember, you never left the bus." Kenma interjected.

"Hm? So you do speak to people other than Kuroo."

"Don't dodge the question."

"I'm not dodging it. I saw (y/n) run off through the trees from where I was sitting. She probably thought she was out of sight of the bus but she wasn't. It also took her and Hinata a while to come back and why is that?"

"Forget all the technicalities. It's not like either of them denied it. Let's just tie them up." Kageyama spat.

"No." I spoke up.

"No? I've been searching all my life, and I still can't find who asked." Kageyama commented.

"You didn't have to ask. I'm the one being tied up so this discussion concerns me too." I huffed.

He finally let go of hinata's callar and threw him down onto the floor of the isle on the bus, leaving us face to face.

"Look at you, now look back at me. Now look at everyone else on this bus who wants you tied up. You're not getting out of this one chief."

"Yeah? Well, I'm not going down without a fight either." I kicked kageyama in his balls, and his hands moved out of the way, no longer blocking me from getting out of the seat. "Hinata run!"

Hinata ran towards the rear emergency exit door and I pushed my way past kageyama to run with him as well. Just before reaching the door, tsukishima threw his leg out, causing Hinata to trip back on the floor.

Kenma grabbed my head and covered my mouth to stop me from screaming, but my hands and legs were still free. I didn't have a plan, I just swung as hard as I could and kicked as far back as my legs could reach, throwing my head back hoping to headbutt him, anything I could do to get Kenma off of me.

"Just do what he says for now. I don't think tying you up is right either but nothing can be done if I don't earn his trust." Kenma whispered in my ear. No one else was in earshot for sure this time. Like hell I'd believe any of them now. I kept struggling, but he was still bigger and stronger than me.

As he said that, Tanaka stood up and went to make sure Hinata wouldn't run off again too.

Kenma shifted a little behind me.  "I'm sorry for this but—"

Huh, that's funny. The ground is—and everything is...blurry?

________

"Hey, wake up. You gotta eat."

"Where.. am I?" I looked around. We weren't on the bus anymore.

The last thing I remember was Kenma telling me something, and now here I am. I went to rub my head, but my hands tugged on my restraints, the sound of chains ringing throughout. I looked over across the room and Hinata was just waking up too. His hands were cuffed above his head with little to now slack on his wrist.

"Hinata!" I yelled over to him. It didn't seem like he heard me.

"Here." I looked up and Kenma stood above me trying to feed me something, but I couldn't even tell what it was. Kuroo stood in the corner of the room right next to a door.

That's right! Sugawara wanted to tie us up, and we tried to escape again, and Kenma said sorry for something and I ended up here. Here...

"Kenma, what exactly is this place?" I asked him.

"While Daichi and Asahi were looking for a water source, they came across this abandoned house. I don't know what people did here before where there were chains just lying around, but Sugawara saw that as an opportunity." He explained. "Now eat."

I opened my mouth and accepted the food he was offering. It tasted awful, like someone has taken a belt and tried to cook it, but it was edible. Spitting it out now would be a waste.

"I know it's bad. Sorry." Kenma smiled. He made being in such a situation a little better, then Sugawara walked in, turning the situation bitter again.

"How is she? Is she okay?" Sugawara asked.

"Yeah, better than she was." Kuroo told suga when he walked in the room.

"That's good, and Hinata?"

"He's still in pretty bad shape but he's up now. I think Tanaka was a little too rough on him though."

"That's just how Tanaka is, ever since yamaguchi. Is oikawa back yet?"

"No. Hopefully he's not dead yet."

"I don't think he'd die that easily. Not after coming this far."

"I don't think any of us will die that's easily..." Kuroo started. "...unless we're killed."
