[Tsukishima POV]
"Yamaguchi, put down the gun."

"After what you've done to me? Did you forget already? You don't have a choice in this."

"Yama-"

"What is it that you always say?"

"Don't do it!"

"Arara gomen tsukki."

*BANG*

"You know, I've been waiting to do this for a while Yamaguchi." Tanaka said, coming up from behind him and jabbing a knife right in his neck, yanking it out, then letting him fall to the ground. He grabbed the gun from off the floor and put the safety on for the time being. "Come on tsukishima. We gotta get you out of this fire."

Tanaka grabbed my arm and threw it around his neck. The bullet went in the side of me and hurt like a bitch. I could barely move, but at least I wasn't dead on the floor like Yamaguchi.

"What happened to you?" Oikawa asked as we made it to the exit. He got on the other side of me and helped me to the bus.

"What took you guys so long, we were about to leave without you." Kuroo said as we got on the bus, not asking about me at all. "Where's Yamaguchi?"

"He isn't coming." Tanaka snapped. They sat me in a seat at the back of the bus, and oikawa sat next to me to try and treat my wound, but it was looking pretty bad.

[Oikawa POV]
Why the hell is (y/n) sitting on kageyama's lap? The others just let this slide while I was gone? I darted my gaze towards him, and he reacted quickly, sending an evil smirk my way.

"Tch." I smacked my lips under my breath. Whatever. In the meantime I gotta focus on tsukishima.

"Let's go Kuroo!" Daichi yelled from his seat.

"Fucking finally." Kuroo responded, and stepped on the gas. I could see the sun peaking from behind the surrounded trees.

"And ladies and gentlemen, we pulled it off!" Bokuto cheered, sending excitement through everyone.

"I can't believe we actually did it!" Hinata said with sparkes in his eyes.

"Whoooooooooo!!" Tanaka and nishinoya shouted.

Daichi, sugawara, and Akaashi just clapped their hands while asahi was just relieved it was over. I looked over at tsukishima and noticed his glasses were cracked. I was able to bandage up his wounds with the little first aid kit we had, but it certainly was not a long term solution.

He realized I was starring at him. "So how bad is it actually?"

I sighed, but told it to him straight. "It's pretty bad. I don't think you're gonna die as long as we can get some more supplies, but since all of us are supposed to be dead, it's a lot easier said than done."

"So I could possibly die still."

"Well when you put it like that it sounds a little..."

"It's what I get for messing with Yamaguchi huh?" He chuckled.

"Tsukishima it wasn't your faul-" I started, but was cut off. He looked at me and got really serious out of nowhere.

"I don't regret a thing."

I thought I had a reason to worry, but I guess not. Tsukishima doesn't have any desire to die soon whatsoever. My gaze turned from sympathetic to cautious as I sat up straight.

"Wait so where do we go now?" Nishinoya asked.

"We're on the road to the countryside." Kuroo started. "This is the beginning to our life off the grid."

"He's being sarcastic. We'll most likely be living in a dingy house with mold, spiders, a concrete floor, and cracked walls." Kenma added while still playing on his game system.

"Aw really?" Hinata frowned.

"It doesn't matter to me. I mean, having each other should be fine and I'm looking forward to finally living an independent life." Asashi smiled while rubbing his hand behind his neck.

"Yeah right. We can't live if we can't get our hands on food, water, and first aid for tsukishima." I responded.

"Oikawa's right, and that's only the beginning of our troubles." Daichi agreed.

"Speaking of first aid, what happened to you tsukishima?" Bokuto asked.

"Yamaguchi fucking shot me with the gun oikawa got from the cop. I probably would've died if Tanaka wasn't there. He stabbed yamaguchi in the neck and that's why he's not here." He finished.

"Does it hurt?" Bokuto asked.

"No fucking shit bird for brains. I got shot, what do you think?" Tsukishima retorted. Everyone on the bus erupted in laughter.

"I'm was just messing with you." Bokuto said through his laughs.

"Guys..." (y/n) spoke up. She has been quiet this whole time. I looked back at her and thankfully she was finally off of kageyama's lap. "What happened to everyone else in the building? Did they make it out before us? Is my dad okay?" She asked.

The bus went silent. Finding the proper way to break the news is proving to be difficult. Being too blunt could make her hate us.

Hinata looked her in the eyes and calmly said, "They're dead. Everyone who is not on this bus is dead, including coach ukai. They all burned to a crisps. No, rather, they burned to ashes."

"Hinata!" Nishinoya shouted.

"What?!? someone had to say it to her." He reasoned. I personally don't think that was the way to go either, but at least it's done.

"(Y/n)..." Sugawara said worried.

"It's okay," she smiled. "After all, all of you are doing this to take care of me right?"

Is she insane? Anyone would be in tears right now knowing mass murder was just committed. I don't want to say it's her fault, but we did do it so that no one would be able to interfere. Whatever, as long as she isn't going to try to crash this bus, I don't care.

[Your POV]
I'm smiling but do they really believe I'm just okay with what they did?!? I barely even know these nut jobs and they just committed mass fucking murder with my dad included! I swear, as soon as those bus doors open I'm darting out. I'm leaving. I'm getting as far away as possible from this sickos.

"Um, k-kageyama," I stuttered.

"Hm?"

"I gotta use the bathroom." I blushed.

He sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. "Now of all times?"

"Sorry."

"Oi Kuroo! Stop the bus!"

"And why are we stopping the bus?" He questioned.

"(Y/n) said she—"

"Spit it out already kageyama."

"She said she had to use the bathroom jeez." He blushed.

"Why are you blushing kageyama, you pervert." Hinata teased.

"Shut up dumbass!"

"Hurry up." Kuroo said as he stepped on the brakes.

I made my way down the isle of the bus and towards the door. Watching them open felt like freedom, but I couldn't run yet. I walked into the woods to the point where they couldn't see me, then darted through the woods, not looking back.

I heard a rustling noise coming from the bushes but didn't stop running. I didn't really have a reason to stop. My only goal was to get away.

I thought I was in the clear but came to a stop when something grabbed my by the waist.

"Let me go! Let me go! I just wanna see my family." I cried and fought, but they wouldn't let go.

"(Y/n), please listen."

It was Hinata. His grip tightened and he hugged my closer to himself.

"I really like spending time with you, you know. We all do. I care about you, so please don't run away. Do you know what would happen to us if you were seen alive after you were supposed to die in that fire? They'd  come looking for the rest of us, and it's possible we could all go to jail." He started.

I can't believe that. If they cared about me then why did they kill basically the only family I had?

"Oikawa, Kuroo, Bokuto, asahi, Daichi, sugawara, they're all 18 so they could possibly be sentenced the death penalty. I really don't want that to be how our story ends, (y/n)."

"You killed, all of those people. I never asked for any of that!" Tears started running down my eyes. "So let me go!"

I didn't think it was possible, but his grip on my waist tightened even more.

"No! I won't let you go." His voice was shaky like mine. As a matter of fact, I could feel his whole body shaking against me. "I'm scared too you know. All of those people on that bus, they scare me, but you're there, so I'm okay as long as you're there."

"Hinata..." I started. A tear fell down on my shoulder as he sniffled.

"So please, just come back to the bus with me." He wasn't holding how he felt back anymore. He wasn't just some emotionless psychopath.

"I didn't know you were scared too." I said, finally calming down.

"Hey," Hinata said, letting go of my arms. I turned around towards him. Seeing his crying face really broke me. "Let's protect each other okay?" He smiled.

If not anyone else, at least I had Hinata on my side. Although I didn't really want to, I went back to the bus. After thinking about it again, he was right. Me leaving could put everyone at risk, including me, so I'll stay... for now.
