Third-person POV

"Shoyoooo!" Natsu pulled at Hinata's Bag as he was walking out the door. "Come on Natsu, I have to go. The guys are expecting me." Natsu frowned. "But you Promised! You promised you would make a chocolate cake with me tonight!" She started tugging harder at Hinata. "I'm Sorry, I really am, but this is something I can only do once. Baking a cake is something we can do another night!" Hinata tried to smile, but it was rather hard seeing as Natsu refused to let go of his bag.

Suddenly, a voice from another room came yelling. "Natsu, Shoyo has friends he has to meet. You two can bake a cake tomorrow night." Their mother called out. Natsu aggressively let go of the bag and pouted. "G-Go hang out with your stupid friends!" Hinata heard sniffing as she ran off into the hallway, slamming her bedroom door. Mrs. Hinata suddenly came out of her room and started walking towards him.

"Sorry Honey, you know how she is." Hinata chuckled nervously and adjusted his bag. "Pouty as always. Well, I gotta go mom. See you!" His mom smiled softly. It looked awfully similar to Hinata's smile. "Have fun, Shoyo." She gave him a peck on the cheek and waved a small wave. He waved back and closed the door, heading to Tanaka's house.

Once he got there, he realized it was surprisingly big. He noticed the door was unlocked and headed in. He was immediately greeted with Suga, Daichi, Asahi, Nishinoya, and Tanaka simultaneously yelling, "HINATA!" They all gathered around him excitedly, when suddenly he remembered about his "cough".

"Guys, just one thing, I actually have this super bad cough, so sorry if I wake you guys up tonight." They all didn't mind it. But Hinata felt a lump in his throat when he saw Kageyama staring at him from the other side of the room. He felt a little dizzy and asked Tanaka where the bathroom is. "Down the hallway. The second door on the left." Hinata nodded quickly and ran as fast as he could down the hallway. He felt the worrying stare of Nishinoya, who knew exactly why he was going to the bathroom. He closed the door quickly with a cough.

He slammed the toilet cover open, petals and blood falling from his mouth. He then heard knocking on the bathroom door. "G-Go away, Noya..." He assumed it was Nishinoya since he was the only one who knew that his cough wasn't a cough. He assumed the rest of the boys wouldn't concern themselves with a boy who just had a cough, but the responding voice was not Nishinoya's.

"Dumbass. It isn't Nishinoya, it's Kageyama." Hinata's eyes widened as he continued to cough into the toilet. "O-oh... Why are you here??" "Really gonna make me say it, huh?" Hinata was confused. But Kageyama spoke up with a stutter. "I-I... Care... about... you..." Suddenly, Hinata's coughing stopped. He could feel that it was only temporary, but he took this moment to his advantage.

He flushed the toilet and quickly rinsed his face, ridding the evidence of the actual result of his coughing. He opened the door with a smirk and one eyebrow raised. He could see Kageyama's face turn bright red. "So, you care about me, huh?" He had no idea where this sudden confidence came from, but he was glad he had it. "H... Hinata Boke! J-Just shut up! I, uh, only said it to get you out of there." Hinata laughed softly. "Riiiiight..."

1:37 AM

Laughter and smiles were drifting through the room. "Are you fucking kidding me?! JAIL?! AGAIN?!" Tanaka screamed into the night. "Calm down Tanaka, it's not like you haven't been there in real life." Tsukishima smugly pushed his glasses up his face. Tanaka quickly looks over to him with an infuriated look. "Listen here you salty ass-" And Tanaka went on a rant about how he HADN'T been in jail before when they all knew he had.

Suga tried to break them up. Tsukishima just sat there looking pompous as ever. At this point, Daichi had given up and attempted to get some sleep while Hinata was wheezing at how hilarious the fight was getting. Kageyama starred at Hinata with a bright pink look on his face. His laugh is cute. He thought. Nishinoya took notice of his starring.

"Your face is as bright as a strawberry. Weird, since you're staring at a tangerine." Nishinoya nudged him on the shoulder. Kageyama had a late reaction to his words and quickly looked back at him. Nishinoya had a smug look, while Kageyama had quite the opposite. "Um, Shut up!" Kageyama whispered loudly to him. "Hey man, I don't judge." Nishinoya started to cup his hands around his mouth and whispered into Kageyama's ear. "I've taken quite the interest in Asahi over there..." He looked away from Kageyama to look over to Asahi. His expression softened. He looked over back to Kageyama to see the first genuine smile in a while from him. But Nishinoya's face slowly shifted over to disgust.

Why are you so blind, Kageyama. He thought. Confess... please... I can't stand seeing Shoyo suffer like this...

3:01 AM

Tsukishima, Yamaguchi, Suga, Daichi, and Asahi Had now gone to sleep leaving Tanaka, Nishinoya, Kageyama, and Hinata awake. Most of them were just scrolling through their phones, and overtime Tanaka and Nishinoya had fallen asleep. Hinata was having a hard time keeping his eyes open, when suddenly he just toppled over onto Kageyama's lap, dropping his phone. Kageyama flinched. He took a good look at Hinata's face. Fast asleep... He thought, and he smiled at the sleeping orangette.

"K... agey...ama..." Hinata mumbled. Kageyama's face instantly turned red. "W...What do you want boke?" He brushed a piece of Hinata's hair out of his face. Hinata continued to mumble things. Must be dreaming... He thought once again. Might as well try to fall asleep too... He looked at the boy once again and then lied down. He slowly drifted off to sleep.

And it was no later than 4 am that Hinata woke up in a cold sweat.

Sorry this one took so long! My inspiration left me for a bit lol. Oh yeah, and sorry I stayed in third person pov the entire thing, I'm just really comfortable in third person
