DAMITRI

Tasia smiled while she buttoned up her shirt. "I forgot about how good you were."

"That's 'cause you was too busy fuckin' that lame nigga." He replied referring to Quentin.

Tasia rolled her eyes and sat on the bed. "Fuck that nigga."

"What happened wit y'all?" He asked uninterested. He really didn't care but he had to keep the conversation going.

"He didn't know how to keep his dick in his pants." Tasia started up. "...Fuckin' every girl with a fat ass."

"Since we on the topic of his bitch ass, I need you to do me a favor." Damitri said.

"What?"

"I know you've heard about the nigga sellin' bad shit for Quentin. Who is it?"

Tasia shook her head. "I can't tell you that. Quentin would kill me if he found out."

"He ain't gone do shit. I got you Ma." Damitri assured.

Tasia took a deep breath. "Quentin was pissed that you were selling in his area so he came up with this plan. He thought if he got someone to sell bad coke as yours, people would stop buying from you and start buying from him."

The plan worked too. Damitri has been losing business ever since he found out.

"Anyway, he's payin' some lil dude to say that the bad coke he cooking up and selling is from you." She informed.

"Who is he?" Damitri asked trying not to sound mad. Quentin was really trying him.

"I don't know. I only met him like twice. Just some lil nigga who need the money."

"I need a name, Tasia." Damitri said.

"Anthony." Tasia finally blurted out. "Yeah, his name is Anthony." She assured.

"Anthony who?!"

"I don't know, Damitri." She stated. "Some young nigga. I'm pretty sure he goes to Clark. Light skin, kinda a pretty boy."

"I gotta catch you later, T." He said gathering her things for her.

"You know him or somethin'?" She asked.

"I said I'll catch you later." He repeated. "Let yoself out."

"Asshole." She mumbled before leaving.

When she left, he sat on his bed to think for a couple of minutes. He walked over to his door and opened it.

"D!" He called.

"What?" Dorian responded a few seconds later.

"Come here for a minute."

Dorian busted into the room."What you want nigga?" He said. "You found out who selling?"

Damitri nodded his head.

"Well, who is it?" Dorian asked impatiently.

"Anthony."

"Arnell's brother?"

Damitri sighed and nodded his head.

"So what you want to do?" Dorian asked.

"Nothing for now." Damitri replied.

"What you mean nothing? We losing more and more business every day." Dorian informed. "T-bone talkin' bout killing that nigga."

"Nah. This stays between us."

Dorian opened his mouth as if he was about to say something.

"Just until I talk to Arnell."

"Meech...."

"Trust me on this, man." Damitri said.

Dorian nodded his head.

"Aight, I trust you." Dorian got up and left the room.

* One week later *

ARNELL

Arnell was in the kitchen popping popcorn. Anthony, Arnell, Jay and Maggie were all hanging out and watching movies. August was working late again so he said they could stay over.

Arnell's phone rang. When she saw who it was, she declined the call. It was his third time calling in a row that night.

Meech๐Ÿ™…๐Ÿ–•: i been trynna call u for a week. answer yo damn phone!

She ignored his text and continued to watch the movie. When he called her again, she sighed and excused herself. She stepped out on the back porch and accepted the call.

"What ?!" She yelled.

"Who the hell you think you is answering the damn phone like dat!?" He fumed.

Arnell got scared for a moment until she realized that she was on the phone so he couldn't do anything to her.

"Arnell, nigga. Who you??" She shot back.

"Quit playin' wit me, Nells."

"Bye nigga." She said boldly.

"You betta not--"

*CLICK*

A few seconds later, her phone was ringing again. She didn't even make it back inside. She accepted it and put the phone up to her ear.

"Yes?" She answered while picking at her nails.

"I'm trynna tell yo stupid ass somethin' , stop hanging up."

"You ain't telling me nothing I wanna hear so I gotta go." She said getting ready to hang up again.

"You hang up on me again, I'm not calling yo ass back."

"Okay."

"Nells.."

She hung up the phone and made her way back to the living room. The boys were putting on there shoes.

"Where y'all going?" Arnell asked.

"To go pick up the food." Jay responded. "Maggie is in the shower."

She nodded and they left. She sat on the couch and scrolled through her Instagram.

She smirked when she saw Damitri's name pop up back on her screen.

"Hellloooo." She answered.

"I'm finna beat yo ass." He told her.

"Why?" She laughed.

"Cause you keep playin' wit me."

"Okay, Meech."

"I'm on the way right now."

"Haha, you funny." She said stuffing popcorn in her mouth.

Her heart dropped when she heard his car door open and close and then the engine start up.

"Um... Meech."

"Shut up." He told her.

"I'm sorry aight." She apologized. "Don't come."

"Too late." He replied.

"Meech, I'm serious."

"I'm serious too." He replied. "And yo ass better not hang up."

Fuckkkkkkk. She thought.

Ten minutes later, Damitri pulled into the driveway.

"Bring yo ass outside."

Damn, I play too much. She thought.

She hung up the phone. Arnell walked over to the front door and opened it. Damitri was leaning against his car. She walked over to him with her head down.

"Oh, now yo ass ain't got shit to say?" Damitri said. "You sho was talking all that shit on the phone though." He said raising her head by putting his hand under her chin.

"What you want?" She asked.

"Why you ignoring me?"

Arnell rolled her eyes. She couldn't believe that he was asking that dumb ass question like he wasn't there.

"Why you think?"

Damitri shook his head. "You jealous?" He smirked.

Arnell rolled her eyes. She started to walk away but Damitri grabbed her.

"I'm just playin'." He stated. "Quit being so sensitive." He added while pulling her in for a hug.

"I'm not." She pouted. "Who was that girl?"

"No one."

Arnell smacked her lips.

"Don't do that." Damitri said. "You ain't even my girl."

She pulled away from his hug. That comment pissed Arnell off.

"Then why are you here?!" She yelled.

"Chill out with all that yelling shit." He gritted through his teeth. "I'm right here, ain't no need."

"Fuck you." She blurted out.

"What?" He said raising his eyebrow.

"You heard me." She crossed her arms .

"...Nells."

"I'm not scared of you." She lied. Truth is she was terrified. The way he was looking at her made her heart race. But she was tired of being played with.

"She's no one, aight?" Damitri said. "And quit trippin'. That shit ain't cute."

Arnell rolled her eyes at him for the thousandth time. He was getting on her last nerve.

"What you doing next weekend?" Damitri asked.

"Nothing."

"Come chill with me." He said.

"I don't feel like being bothered by your friends."

"Nah, I got a condo downtown that no one knows about." He told her. "It'll just be us."

Anthony and Jay pulled into the driveway. Damitri scrunched his face up at his Anthony's new car. But it made sense since he was on Quentin's payroll. Anthony and Jay got out of the car with Olive Garden bags in their hands.

"Nell, I got you Chicken Alfredo." Anthony informed. "Hey Meech." Anthony laughed.

Arnell scrunched up her face. It was weird that Anthony was even speaking to Damitri. Jay nodded his head at them and went inside. Anthony was right behind him.

Damitri was getting mad just looking at Anthony. He wanted to beat his ass.

"Why the hell you lookin' at my brother like that?" Arnell asked noticing Damitri.

"Nothing." He shook it off. "You coming with me or not?"

"I'll think about it." She replied.

"That's fair." Damitri nodded. "Can I get a kiss?"

She shook her head. "I'm not your girl, remember?"

"Arnell..."

"What?" She said. "Catch you later."

Arnell left him outside. When she was inside she heard his car drive off.

"Where were you?" Maggie questioned.

"Talking to her lil boyfriend." Anthony responded for her.

Arnell rolled her eyes and grabbed her food out of the bag. "How much I owe you?"

"Nothing, it's on me." Anthony stated.

Arnell nodded and took her food to the living room. She finished her food about the same time the movie ended.

"I'm goin' to bed." Arnell informed.

She was so full that she was about to die. They all said good night and Arnell went upstairs and went to sleep.
