"Where the fuck is Dorian?Ross asked. "He wanted to get back at Quentin so bad and now he ghost?"

Damitri didn't really care. He was going to cut him off anyway because he had been nothing but drama for awhile now.

"Fuck it, we doin' it without that nigga." Damitri stated. They headed towards the warehouse. When Damitri got there, Quentin was tied up in a chair. "I wanna know why the fuck you got ya lil wack ass shootas out here trynna kill me." Damitri asked while sitting down.

"I wanna know why you did half the shit you did." Quentin shot back. "Thought we was cool."

"Fuck you talkin' bout?"

"All this started when I noticed my trap houses started to get robbed."

"You must got me confused wit somebody else." Damitri shook his head. He didn't know what Quentin was talking about.

"Nigga, don't play dumb!" Quentin yelled.

"I suggest you lower yo fuckin' voice considerin' you the nigga tied up and I'm the nigga with the gun." Damitri told him before cocking his gun. Quentin quickly calmed down. He took a deep breath before starting up again.

"So you tellin' me you don't know shit about what's been goin' on?" Damitri shrugged. "You obviously got somebody trynna fuck you over." Quentin told him.

"How you know it was one of my boys?" Damitri asked.

"After every hit, 'N210' was spray painted on a wall." Quentin told him. "Last time I checked, that's yo set."

"Man, that could've been anybody trynna set me up." Damitri sucked his teeth. "Why you ain't come to me like a man and ask me if I was doin' the shit," Damitri and Quentin started off as friends but somewhere down the road things changed.

"I did." Quentin told him. "Well, I talked to Dorian and he said you ain't wanna talk to me. I just took it as yo ass was guilty."

"He ain't never told me dat." Damitri said shaking his head.

"I guess you know who fuckin' you over." Quentin smirked. "I didn't mind you sellin' in myย  area cause you was just chasin' a coin like me. But, when I thought you started stealin' from me, that's when I had the idea of selling bad dope because I don't play about my money."

"And neither do I." Damitri shot back. "And I can assure you that I had no idea."

"I wasn't trynna kill you at first. It just got out of hand." Quentin shook his head.

"Yeah, you know you killed a sixteen year old boy?" Damitri asked him.

"Man, I ain't pull the fuckin' trigger." Quentin told him.

"Word on the street is, the cops interrogatin' ya boys, so sooner or later yo name gone pop up. Then I ain't gotta deal with you." Damitri stated.

"You think I'm the problem?" Quentin laughed. "Once I'm gone, some lil nigga gone take my place and who knows, he might not be ass nice as I am. That's just the game." Quentin smiled.

"That's just the game? That's all you have to say when you shoot at me and my girl twice?" Damitri asked getting angry.

"Nah, she was never a target." Quentin said.

"Then why yo boys was up at her school?" Damitri asked getting up. He didn't believe a word that was coming out of his mouth.

"To get some info on you." Quentin explained.

"And you really thought she would've told yo ass anything?" Damitri chuckled.

"It was worth a shot."ย  Quentin stated. "Keepin' it a hunnid, the only bitch I would hurt is Tasia. That hoe crossed me and I'd suggest you stay away from her because she'll do the same to you."

"What she do?" Damitri asked.

"All I'm sayin' is you'd be dumb if you kept her around. I wouldn't be surprised if she was helping ya boy Dorian out."

Damitri didn't want to believe that Dorian was behind this, but it made sense. He was always questioning Damitri and doing shit behind his back. He'd probably do anything to be in charge.

"I'll tell my people to back off, though." Quentin stated.

"Let his ass go." Damitri said.

"What?" Ross asked.

"Look, He already goin' to jail for murder." Damitri stated. "Let's not get caught up, too."

Ross walked over to him and cut the ropes. Quentin rubbed his wrists while nodding at Damitri.

Now that Quentin would be out of the way, all he had to worry about was Dorian. "We gotta go find that nigga, D." Damitri said. They left the warehouse in search of Dorian.

A FEW HOURS LATER

"We been ridin' around all day, we need to get back to the condo." T-Bone stated. Damitri nodded and the made their way back.

Meech raised his eyebrow when he saw two black SUVs parked in front of his house. He pulled out his gun and slowly made his way up the stairs. The front door was cracked. Damitri pushed it open and walked in. Ross and T-Bone were right behind him.

"Wassup, Meech!" Dorian said once they got inside.

"The fuck you doin' here?" Damitri asked. He was mad as hell. After everything that he just heard, he wanted to shoot his ass right there.

"Tell ya boy to lower his gun." Anthony still had it pointed at Dorian's head.

"It's aight, Anthony." Damitri assured.

"He held his gun on me the whole time. I respect that." Dorian nodded. "You ever get tired of Damitri ass, you can come work for me." Dorian joked. Anthony shook his head and handed the gun to Damitri.

"The fuck you mean 'come work for you'?" Damitri asked.

"We all know Quentin ass goin' to jail, so I thought I'd take his place." Dorian stated.

"Quentin ain't in prison yet. He got plenty enough time to smoke yo ass for what did." Damitri noted.

"So you know?" Dorian asked. "No hard feelings. I promise to stay out yo business as long as you stay out mine." Dorian reasoned.

"Nigga, did you forget who I am?" Damitri questioned.

"Look, this can work. We been boys since I don't know how long." Dorian must've forgot that that's how Quentin and Damitri started off. "We cool?"

"Yeah, we cool." Damitri lied. He knew he could no longer trust him. Dorian smiled before opening the door and leaving. "Which one of y'all dumb asses opened the door." Damitri said once Dorian was gone. Arnell could tell how angry he was.

"This bitch." Arnell said looking at Tasia.

"I'm really gettin' tired of you." Tasia stated walking towards Arnell.

"Fuck out her face." Damitri said pushing Tasia back. "I should've let yo dumb ass deal with Quentin ya damn self." He said pushing his index finger into her forehead.

"How could you say that?" Tasia asked sounding hurt. "You promised me that if I helped you, you wouldn't let anythin' happen to me."

"You don't listen. I clearly said don't answer the door for nobody. You could've gotten everyone killed."

"So what now?" Tasia asked.

"Now you on your own, so I suggest you stay out of the south side."

"What did he say?" Tasia asked.

He shook his head. "Just, stay away." Damitri stated.

"You can leave now." Arnell told Tasia while swinging the door open. Tasia snatched her things off the couch and left. "Bitch." Arnell said when the door closed.

"Things aight now?" Anthony asked. Damitri nodded. "Thanks, man." Anthony said. He went to the back to get his stuff.

"Ima go pick up my moms from the airport and take Mercedes home. You stayin' or you leavin' with Anthony?"

"I'll stay." Arnell told him.

"Okay well ride with me. I don't want you here by yourself." Damitri told her.

"I thought you said everything was cool." Arnell said.

"It is... Just... Come on."

After Damitri dropped off his mom and sister. He made his way back to his house.

"So, that was his plan all along." Arnell said. Damitri was telling her everything; leaving the part out about her brother, though.

"I guess. He ain't gone last long. He gotta attitude problem."Damitri told her.

"Tell me about it." Arnell said.

"What you mean?" Damitri asked while scrunching up his face.

"Huh? Nothing." She told him. Arnell looked out of the window so Damitri couldn't see her face.

"Don't do that. He said somethin' to you?" Damitri asked. Arnell shook her head. "Then what?" She continued to stare out of the window.

"Arnell!"

"Don't yell at me. Gosh." She said folding her arms.

"Then quit bitin' ya fuckin' tongue and tell me wassup." He told her.

"That night when he got caught with Jada, I told Leah where he was. So the next day he pushed me up against the wall and--"

"That nigga put his hands on you?!"

"Yeah--"

"Why the fuck wouldn't you tell me?" Damitri raged.

"I don't know." She shrugged.

"Next time I see that nigga, Ima beat his fuckin' ass." He said slapping the steering wheel.

"Damitri."

"Why you let people treat you like that?" He asked.

"Like what, Meech?"

"Like shit. You let people treat you any kind of way." He said. "Then you keep it all bottled in until you explode. Probably what happened with my sister.ย  And probably why Anthony--"

"You don't know shit about my brother. You don't know shit about anything." Arnell snapped.

"Well then tell me." He shot back.

Arnell shook her head. She didn't say anything else during the car ride. When they got to his house, Arnell went straight to the bathroom. She took a shower and made her way to the bedroom where Damitri was waiting for her.

"Talk to me." He said. He wasn't letting shit go.

"Damitri, I.."

"I won't say anything, I'll just listen." He told her while patting the bed.

She sat on the edge of the bed and sighed. "When I was younger, I called CPS on my parents and got them thrown into jail." She tried not to make eye contact with him, but she could see him staring at her from the corner of her eye."The kids at school used to tease us and we were in and out of court."

"So, where are your parents now?" Damitri asked.

"My mom is in rehab and my dad is still in jail."

"My dad, well he's not really my dad, he's April's. My mom got back with him when me and and Anthony were just babies." Arnell explained. "Anyway, he used to let his dealer, you know, touch me so he could get a fix. It went on for years. I just finally had enough." Damitri was trying his hardest not to interrupt her, but he had so many questions. "I finally told them what happened. Anthony didn't believe me because April brainwashed him into thinkin' I was doin' it for attention. So I don't tell anyone anythin' because I don't think they'll believe me."

"Where was August in all this?" Damitri asked.

"Gone." She shook her head as a tear fell down her cheek. Damitri wiped it off with his thumb.

"Look, I ain't April or Anthony." Damitri said. "You ain't gotta keep shit from me."

"Okay, I'm sorry." Arnell laid on his chest and sighed in relief. She was happy to be able to talk to someone. She quickly fell asleep.
