Arnell stood in the mirror for hours. She couldn't get her hair right. If she didn't get it fixed in time, she was literally going to have a breakdown. Today was the day Shaydon was taking her out on a date.
Arnell grunted as she tried to save her hair from being a total flop.

Shaydon: Be there in five. ;)

Arnell's heart dropped. She was all over the place. She knew Shaydon most of her life but for some reason she was so nervous.

"Where you going?" Jada asked standing in the door frame.

"Out." Arnell simply replied.

Jada smacked her lips as she left the bathroom. Arnell finally got her hair the way she wanted just in time because her phone rang.

"I'm outside."

Arnell quickly hung up the phone and waltzed her way to the front door. She slipped into a pair of black heels that were by the door.

"I'm gone, Jada." She called out before leaving.

When she got outside, Shaydon was on the passenger side of the car with the door opened. Arnell got inside of the car and Shaydon closed the door.

When Shaydon got in the car, Arnell asked him where they are going. He said they were going to the drive in movie theater. Arnell always wanted to go, but had never been. It was actually closed, but Shaydon's uncle owned it so the were able to get in.

The weather was so nice that they decided to sit on the roof of the car while watching Scarface. Shaydon let Arnell picked the movie. It was her favorite.

After the movie, Shaydon drove Arnell home. She had to admit it wasn't the best date, but it was cute and fun. Shaydon admitted he threw it together last minute and that he would make up for it with another date.

Shaydon opened Arnell's door and walked her to the front door of Jada's house. She had been knocking for five minutes but Jada did not come to open the door.

"You gone be waiting awhile because she's not even answering her cell." Arnell said while hanging up the phone.

"Well, where she at, I gotta pee." Shaydon stated.

Arnell shrugged. She knew she couldn't be too far because the car was in the driveway. Shaydon smacked his lips before he began banging on the door. He was banging for a good two minutes before Jada finally answered.

"Boy, you lost yo mind?!" Why you knocking like you the damn popo?" Jada shouted.

"I gotta use the restroom." He said calmly while pushing passed her.

"What's his damn problem?!" Jada hissed.

Arnell sighed and kicked off her heals. Her feet were killing her. She slid into some flats that she usually walked around the house in.

"What were you doing? We were knocking for like ten minutes. I called your phone and everything."

Jada threw her hands up. "My bad. I was upstairs with the door closed."

Arnell shot a glance at Jada. "I got company." Jada continued.

"What company you got?"

Just then, Dorian, Damitri and Natalie came down the stairs.

Arnell could not believe her eyes. What was she doing hanging out with them? Both Damitri and Dorian said hi but Natalie acted like she couldn't speak.

Shaydon came out of the restroom. He looked around the living room and raised an eyebrow. Arnell shrugged to let him know she was just as clueless.

"I'll see you later." He said kissing her. She followed him to the door and locked it.

Arnell walked into the kitchen to get a snack. She opened the pantry and it was almost empty .

"Damn, what y'all do? Eat the whole kitchen?" Arnell asked Jada as she came back into the lives room.

"We were hungry." Jada laughed.

Arnell shook her head. They were probably smoking and ate all the damn food up. She was the one who put food in the house. She didn't mind, but Jada always had people coming over and eating it all.

"You look cute." Damitri noted. He was snuggled up with Natalie hoe ass.

Arnell looked at him and and smacked her lips. She was not in the mood for him at all.

Natalie scoffed and folded her arms. "Her shoes don't even match her outfit."

Arnell looked down at her shoes. "These aren't even the shoes that I wore. Mind ya business."

Dorian and Meech laughed out loud. Natalie just rolled her eyes.

"I'm about to run to the store since y'all ate all the food." Arnell stated walking towards the door.

"Aye, we gotta get going, too. We gotta go handle that thing." Dorian said discretely.

Damitri nodded his head and passed Dorian a gun. Arnell silently gasped at the sight of the weapon. She wondered what kind of trouble they were about to get involved in.

"Stay here, we'll go to the store after we done." Damitri ordered.

Arnell squinted at him. She didn't like the way he was telling her what to do. "It's fine, I'll go. The store is right across the street and y'all probably gonna take all night."

"No we won't, I got you." He said looking her in the eye. "I'm serious, stay inside and keep my girl company." He smirked.

Arnell rolled her eyes. He just did not asks her to act friendly towards Natalies' ass.

"You got a list?" He asked. Arnell slapped the grocery list into his hand.

He laughed as Arnell stomped up the stairs. He said that on purpose to get under her skin. He thought she was so cute when she got jealous.

"Let's go, D."

It was about two in the morning and Arnell went down stairs to get a drink of water. She overheard Natalie and Jada's conversation.

"Girl, Meech know how to lay down the pipe." Natalie laughed.

"Girl, I bet." Jada replied.

Arnell shook her head, that's all they talked about.

Arnell was on her way back up the stairs when someone began banging on the door. She opened it and Damitri stood there with hella bags in his hands. "I told you that I got you." He replied.

Arnell didn't respond. She just took some of the bags out of his hands and brought them into the kitchen.

"Jada, is it alright if we crash here?" Damitri asked.

"Yeah, y'all can crash in my moms room." She replied.

Arnell squinted her eyes and crossed her arms. "What you mean they can sleep in your moms' room." Arnell asked.

Arnell was really growing tired of Jada's ass. Arnell always got the short end of the stick just because Jada's wanted to bed cool.

That's where Arnell had been sleeping. Mrs. Givens said when she was out of town, Arnell was more than welcome to sleep in there.

"Exactly what I said." She replied.

"I sleep in there. How you just gonna give up my bed to them?" Arnell questioned.

"They're company. That's how." Jada said.

"They're YOUR company, not mine." Arnell pointed out.

"Sleep on the couch." Jada suggested.

Arnell laughed. Jada couldn't be serious right now.

"There's two of them and one of you. They both can't fit on that couch." Jada argued. "Me and Dorian are sleeping in my room, Meech and Nat in my moms room, and you in the living room." Jada shrugged.

"Well they better get it popping with them blankets and make a pallet ." Arnell said. "Cause I ain't moving."

"It's aight Jada. She ain't gotta give up her bed." Damitri said.

"You mean." Damitri noted while playfully pushing her. Arnell shrugged and continued to put up the groceries.

When she finished, she went into Jada's moms room. She closed the door and locked it. She was so ready to move out. The way Jada was acting towards Arnell made her feel like she was over staying her welcome. Arnell just wanted to leave soon before shit really started to go down.
