Mondays.. Savannah hated Mondays! Actually hate wasn't a good enough word for how Savannah hated Mondays. She DESPISED Mondays. But here she was on another Monday morning. Dressed in a pair of Dark blue fig scrubs. One leg on the bed as she bent down and tied the black Nike tennis shoe on her foot. Dropping one leg to raise the other one to repeat the same process.

Once again. Savannah hated Mondays.

Gone was the weekend. Her only 2 days that she was allowed to sleep past 5 am. Here were the days she was up before the sun. For her this week was only going to be longer. Thanks to her financial crisis she now found herself in. Savannah had added another day onto her schedule. The only reason she had Sunday off?

Well who was going to do her work clothes?

Sighing loudly she looked down at her hands. Making sure that the cobalt blue nail polish she had picked for her nails this week hadn't chipped. Chipped nails? Ew no. She might as well just sit back down and strip her nails of color and just go natural. Thankfully that wasn't the case. The at home manicure still looked as flawless as the day she had done it.

Walking over to her nightstand she grabbed her phone off the charger and tucked it into a scrub pocket. Along with a set of dry erase markers. Quickly she sprayed herself with her favorite Marc Jacobs perfume that was almost gone. "Shit." She muttered as she dropped the bottle back onto her vanity.

She saw no more trips to Macy's anytime soon.

Looking in the mirror of her vanity. The bun she had just thrown together 5 minutes ago still looked decent. So she gave it another dose of hairspray before tossing her Nursing bag over her shoulder. Grabbing her car keys and walking out.

Did Savannah mention she hated Mondays?

After leaving the house it was not 6:30 am. She literally had to be at work within the next 15 minutes. But here she stood in line at her favorite coffee house. Again knowing she shouldn't be spending the extra money. She could easily just make her coffee at work. But come on! It was another dreadful Monday and she already felt like she herself deserved another treat.

Except.. It was taking longer than expected.

Why?

The man in front of her had been looking at the menu for the last 10 minutes. Contemplating!

What was even more weird? The man was in here every morning. Or at least every time she had been in here.

Hunter sighed as he stood looking at the menu for what felt like the 67th time. He was even more pissed that he had forgotten the Oat Milk creamer in his grocery drop off order. Had he had it? He could have easily gotten 15 more minutes of sleep max. But here he was Monday morning downtown Tampa. A coffee shop that he really didn't care for but was decent enough for him to drink and close enough to the performance center that he would actually get there on time.

Except this time he was pretty sure he heard a toe tap behind him. He shrugged and then continued to read the menu and chew on a piece of gum.

Then he heard a huff.

Okay! He was done with the shit. He was about to cuss out the person behind him. Yeah what a great headline for a Monday morning.

"He'll take a quad iced espresso. Plain oat milk. Large." The voice behind him said. That alone caused him to turn around.

He wasn't expecting with what he came face to face with.

A woman. She stood barely 5'4 and the look on her face just screamed annoyance.

But at least she was cute to look at.

She crossed her arms and looked up at him. The toe tapping hadn't ended yet.

He smirked as he chewed on a piece of gum and looked down at her.
