Not a fan of loud music, but there Jihyun walked into the said venue, where the music was being played in high volume, with Jungkook. Her eyes searched for her friend who was nowhere to be seen at the moment.

It was the type of party Jungkook enjoyed and it could be seen by the small moves he made along with the beats, but completely opposite for Jihyun. Someone waved and ran to them. "I KNEW YOU WOULD COME, " Jaewoon pulled her into a hug and shouted in her ear.

Surely, she pushed him away and shot a glare at him.

The other two did a weird handshake that made it seem like they had become close to each other and it made her feel jealous. But why and jealous of whom? "I'll check on some friends. Have fun, " and Jaewoon left them behind. Not surprised.

"CAN WE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE?" she shouted loud enough to be heard in this noisy place. "I LIKE IT HERE, " Jungkook shouted back. "Okay, I'll go alone, " she mumbled to herself and left that place without having him notice.

Finally, she was out of that place and arrived in a place where she thought it would be better, but an unexpected person got there. "You definitely are not a party person, right? " he filled a space beside her.

"Samuel?" she let out a giggle. "I thought you forgot my existence, " she complained with a little pout. "Missed me?" he asked with a hint of happiness. "Of course not, " and that caused his smile to grow faint.

The door behind them suddenly opened, making them turn around. A couple was completely over each other behind that door which resulted in it to almost break. "Woah, that's wild, " Samuel commented that kinda made her comfortable and he eventually noticed it.

"DUDE, GO GET A ROOM, " he shouted at them, resulting them to pause for a moment. "Bro, enjoy some good quality porn, " that guy replied and continued their thing.

Samuel threw something towards the couple which irritated them and headed to find another place. "Sorry for that, " he apologized to Jihyun who had been watching the whole time.

"So how have you been?" he changed the topic to sweep the awkwardness. "Good, " she replied casually. "I have a question. Do you still like that person?" the conversation swerved in a different direction in no time.

"No."

In the meantime, Jungkook was in search of Jihyun while she could be seen nowhere around. Then he spotted the only familiar person except for Jihyun. "Jae, have you seen Jihyun?" he asked in worry. "Yeah, I saw her with Samuel, " that reply bothered Jungkook.

"Samuel?"

But Jaewoon changed the topic instead of answering him. "By the way, I have something to tell you. Can we go somewhere with no noise?" he asked nervously.

"Sure."

And Jaewoon brought him in a similar place as he mentioned. "What is it?" Jungkook asked. "Um, Actually— I'm nervous, " that reluctance created tension between them.

"I-I like you, " Jaewooon said it.

The latter had no idea how to react to it but he had to anyhow. "I-I'm straight and I like someone else. No— I think I love her, " Jungkook spoke, roaming his eyes around somewhere but the other pair.

A few minutes of quietness and awkwardness. Jungkook wanted to leave but he didn't want to come off rude. "She must be lucky, " Jaewoon finally parted his lips to let those words out with a sour smile.

"It is one-sided. Jihyun doesn't even—" that slipped out of his mouth and it was late until he realized. "Jihyun?" Jaewoon asked in surprise.

No further words escaped his mouth after saying that name out by mistake. "Have you confessed to her?' Jaewoon asked only to have the situation more awkward. "Kinda, " and it reminded Jungkook how unfortunate he was.

"And got rejected? I think I know the reason. I'm sure it's because of that guy who played with her feelings in the past, " Jaewoon emphasized.

Those words were enough to make Jungkook feel horrible about himself. "I think I should leave, " and he raced out of the place.

Here and there, he went almost every corner to search for her and finally found her, but with a guy whom he assumed to be Samuel. "Jihyun?" and both of them turned around. "I'm leaving. Are you coming or not?" he asked, glaring at the guy beside her.

"This early?" she asked in surprise since she thought he was enjoying the party. "Are You Coming Or Not?" he unconsciously raised his voice.

That was scary. "I am, " she hopped off and was about to follow him when Samuel stopped her. "You don't have to leave just because someone wants to leave early, " he stated, shooting back the similar glare he received from Jungkook.

"I'll drive you to your place."
