The bus arrived at her stop and Jihyun got off. It was a relief that Jaewoon didn't get to follow her today. Only a few minutes of a walk to the building felt like forever since she was exhausted from the session. It was a hectic day.

An annoying message tone resulted in her to halt on her steps. It was obviously from Jaewoon asking her why did she leave him behind when he asked her to wait for him. And of course, she ignored it.

This caused her to almost bump into someone since that person was also busy with her phone. "I'm sorry, " Jihyun apologized even before it could happen. The lady simply bowed at her and walked away, but Jihyun froze there.

That person looked familiar. Jihyun turned around and watched her walk into the elevator. The moment she saw her face again, which was only her side profile, some memories from a few months back started replaying in her mind.

And she turned around to see her neighbor's door. "J-Jungkook? Did she come from there?" she whimpered and licked her dry lips.

It was the lady from that day when she visited his house and encountered him with this person. "It shouldn't bother me anyway, " she sighed and tried to shrug off those thoughts, but they were too stubborn to leave her mind.

Someone arrived at the right moment to disturb her. "Why did you leave me? You even ignored my calls and messages, " a glare came from Jaewoon. "Sorry. I was tired, " it might be an excuse, but was not a lie.

"I'll forgive you only if you agree to go with us, " he said, pretending to be angry. "Where? Us?" that made her confused. "Movie. Jae and Kook, " he simply answered her questions.

No time to respond, they were already in front of Jungkook's door and Jaewoon had already rung the doorbell. "Jae, what's going on?" but before he could answer her, the door was opened.

There stood Jungkook with his messy hair. He ruffled it and scrunched his nose. "Jihyun?" it brought a slight smile on his face. "Were you sleeping? Did you forget about the movie?" and it made him notice that Jaewoon was also there.

"Yeah, I just woke up. I'll get ready, " he said with a nervous smile. Sure. Then did she wake up with you? Jihyun thought to herself and walked to her place instead. Jaewoon followed her there.

Harshly, she threw her bag on the couch. "Now kindly explain what's going on," she snapped. Jaewoon made her sit on the couch and gave her time to calm firstly. "I told him that we were going for a movie and asked him if he would like to join us, " he gulped.

"But we never planned about it, " she sighed. "Are you that interested in him?" she asked even though the answer was obvious after what he did today. Jaewoon gave a slight nod. "I think you should stop, " those words from her confused him.

"Why?" he asked.

"He Is A Player."

That caused a few seconds of silence and a giggle to break it. "That sounds interesting, " he joked. "It Is Not, " and it made her dead serious. "I have been through that shit," she nearly broke down.

"Hey, it's okay and I'll be okay. Maybe I just want to experience something new—"

"No, " he got cut off. "You are an adult now, Jae. You are going to graduate this year and will have tons of responsibilities. And getting involved in this kind of thing is not in the favor, " she tried her best to convince him. "Okay, I won't get involved. Don't worry, " he assured her.

"The plan had already been made for today and he would feel bad if we cancel, " he said. And it made her feel that she probably failed to convince him. "I'm tired to even move, " she complained as a rejection.

But Jaewoon was committed to convincing her to go with them. "It won't be fun without you. Please, " he pouted. "No, " Jihyun slightly slapped away his pout.

"Wait— You're hot."

The latter gave him an irritated look. "Do you have a fever?" he placed his palm over her forehead. "I just need some rest. That's it, " she smacked his hand. It worried him and made him cancel the plan.

"I'm sure a doctor should take care of themselves too, and not only their patients, " he stated with a serious look. "Geez, I'm just tired, " she sounded irritated.

The doorbell rung as expected and the third was in the door, all dressed up and ready to go out. "The plan's canceled. She is not feeling well, " Jaewoon told which made Jungkook rush into her room. "Can you guys leave, please? I need some sleep, " she spoke, trying not to sound rude.

"Jae, you should leave, " Jungkook mumbled.

"Both Of You."

"Let's go. Take care and if you need something, give your neighbor a call, " and they walked out of the room, giving her some space.

Not Really. Jungkook walked back within a few minutes. "Jae left. But did you eat? Shall I make something for you?" he asked nervously. "No. Leave." she thought a bit rudeness might help her to make him leave and it worked.

Now, they were gone and she was there alone in her room, but it didn't help her to drift off to sleep. She kept on changing her positions to find a better one, but it was not helping at all.

The doorbell rang again and she decided to ignore it. But the person was so impatient that the continuous rings irritated her, so she decided to go and open.

"Jungkook?" it was him and he stood there with a bowl full of something that seemed like porridge.

"I made food for you."
