THE situation was awkward between them after the fight they had yesterday. The room was silent. Jungkook was there alone.

Finally, Jihyun came back after her meeting ended and made him take his medicine. Then she checked the condition of his leg.

Jungkook was still hesitating to apologize to her and ended up backing off.

"I want to go out," he said nervously in a low voice. She simply hummed in response.

Awkward.

Without speaking a word, she walked out of the room. He sighed and asked himself, "Shall I apologize?"

Soon, she walked back to the room and gave him a sign to get off the bed. Assuming that she would take him outside, he got off the bed and stood with the help of his crutches.

"Go," Jihyun ordered him, pointing to the door.

"Alone?" Jungkook asked in surprise.

"Do what I'm saying. I'll watch you from behind," she said.

Letting out a nervous laugh, he slowly walked ahead and exited the room. She followed him, examining his every move.

They took an elevator ride to the ground floor.

Jihyun brought him to the garden and they sat there on the bench, beside each other, without speaking a single word.

In every few seconds, Jungkook would glance at her only to find her staring at the green grasses blankly.

"Jihyun." He called her.

As expected, she hummed in response. Jungkook let out a long sigh before speaking, "I'm sorry."

"I don't know what happened to me yesterday. Maybe because I was hungry." He made a stupid excuse, making the latter giggle at his words.

"Don't repeat that again." She said, glaring at him and he immediately nodded.

Again, silent and awkward. Both of them were hesitating to start a normal conversation.

"Why were you late today?" Jungkook suddenly asked.

"You didn't call me today, so I slept for long." She smiled nervously.

"Wow, does that mean my call has become your alarm?" Jungkook asked with a cheeky smile.

"You've been calling me everyday, so it kinda became my habit?" She shrugged her shoulders.

"I guess I should set an alarm from now on," she said and he immediately protested her.

"NO! I will wake you up," he said, flashing a wide smile.

"Okay!" she said and looked away.

The very moment he realized a pink shade on her cheeks and it was the first time he saw her blushing because of him.

Wow, she knows how to blush. Cute. He thought to himself.

A slight smile formed across his face. He tried to take a good look at her face, which she was hiding from him.

"Doctor." He slightly poked her cheeks.

"It's time for your OPD," Jungkook said, holding back his smile.

Jihyun looked at the time and it was already near four. "Let's go." She got and helped him.

After sending him to his room, she went to her office. Unaware that Jungkook followed her there and waited for her in the waiting room with other patients.

"What are you doing here?" A nurse asked him. She was about to chase him from there when Jungkook lied to her, "Dr. Song asked me to wait here."

After hearing him, the nurse believed those words and walked away.

He sat there and watched the patient's walking and out of her office until the end. The last patient walked in and he was left there alone.

Finally, the last one walked out and now it was his turn to get a service from his doctor, so he walked in.

Meanwhile, since it was the end of the session, Jihyun wrapped up her things and put them in their respective places.

Noises were heard from behind, of someone walking in, so she assumed the noise was made by her nurse.

"Doctor!" She jumped after hearing a male voice which was familiar.

"You scared me." She sighed in relief after she turned around and recognized him to be Jungkook.

"What are you doing here?" she asked, more like scolded him.

Jungkook sat there in the patient chair and pointed at his leg. Jihyun sighed and sat in front of him and asked, "What happened?"

"I came here for a check-up," he said.

"Go back to your room. I'll come there," she ordered him but he didn't listen to her.

"I waited for 4 hours," Jungkook scoffed.

"What?" Jihyun asked in shock.

"You should rest. Go back to your room," she raised her voice at him.

"You meanie." He glared at him and with a frown, he left the room.

Jihyun sighed. She grabbed her things and walked out of her office. The nurse was there in the waiting room.

"When did Jungkook come?" Jihyun asked.

"He came here right after you," the nurse said.

"Okay!" She walked out of the room wondering why did he even wait for her that long.

Back to his room, Jihyun walked in only to find a frowning Jungkook. "I'm sorry." She handed a chocolate to him.

"You bought it for me?" Jungkook raised his eyebrows. She nodded.

Well, a little boy, one of her patients gave that chocolate to her. There was nothing wrong with lying in this case.

"Thank you." He pulled her into a hug and she ended up over him.

His arms were tightly holding her, making her unable to move. Their faces were inches apart. She closed her eyes tightly since the closeness wasn't helping her already burning face.

"Leave me." She tried to escape from his grip.

"Sleep with me," he spoke.

"What the-" She finally succeeded to get away from him.

"Are you-" She scoffed and rolled her eyes.

"I mean only to sleep. I feel lonely." He pouted.

His words made her feel uneasy. A knot formed inside her stomach. "Do you usually sleep with someone?" she asked, biting her lips nervously.

"Yes," he answered.

No wonder why his words made her feel this way. She regretted asking that question. The only word that escaped her mouth was, "Oh."

"I used to sleep with my kumamon," he said.

Her heart suddenly felt light. "What?" he giggled at his words.

"I'll bring you a kumamon tomorrow, okay?" she said.

"I need to go now. Bye." She waved at him and was about to leave when he stopped her.

"Jihyun." He pulled her, making her slightly bend her knees. She assumed that he was about to say something in her ear but her eyes widened after what he did next.

"Goodnight, Doctor." He landed a kiss on her cheek.

"G-Goodnight."

Immediately, she rushed out of the room and halted her steps as soon as she exited the room. Touching her cheeks, she asked herself.

"Why are my cheeks burning?"
