Jin pov

I received a letter, there was no information

 Dear brother

I wanted to let you know I am safe. If the roles were reversed and you were shot I know I'd be so worried about your health. Therefore I write you this letter. perhaps you don't care anymore, in that case you can just burn this letter or something.

I sighed as I closed y/ns letter. I thought about that moment, that she was shot.

-'NO Y/N' it was taehyung, he without any regard for his own safety ran her way, he picked her up from the floor and tried as best to his abilities to divert from hoseok. But the pain in his voice as she was shot, he really did care for her.

Taehyung pov

I sat on the deck watching the stars as it was nighttime. y/n was sleeping soundly. Someone took place next to me.

-'how are you doing?' Jimin asked, I shrugged 'I am fine'

-'something has been troubling your mind'

He was always able to read me like an open book

-'yeah I just, many things'

-'is it because y/n made the plan with Yoongi? I mean I can't say I am not happy about it, it saved my life but I understand if it hurt you' 

-'it's not really that, I mean I was hurt but I don't know first when Yoongi took her I was so anxious and afraid, and then she was shot. The thought of losing her is too much. I have been thinking if this is still the right life for me. I mean maybe it's better if I ask her to settle somewhere with me so that we are safe. You and Yoongi can take over the role of captain for this ship. I mean y/n still wants to see the world so it would be nice if we sometimes can join you on adventures but not as our sole life purpose anymore'

-'you're serious?' he asked me

I nodded

-'I don't know Jimin, it's like I was always searching for something and now... '

-'now you found it' Jimin finished the sentence.

- yeah, now I found it'

In the corner of my eyes I saw Jimin smile

-'but so what about you? you really love yoongi don't you?'

-'I do,

'I am happy you found someone that can make you feel that way Jimin'

-'yeah me too'

y/n pov

I received a letter from Jin

Dear sister, my y/n

I am grateful for your letter and I really do care. I was worried sick. I want to propose to meet each other, just the two of us. To find a solution to what has passed. because I just want to see and speak to my little sister.

Could you meet me at Yeosu? I promise I will come alone

I had the letter in my hand. I already knew in my heart I needed to face him. I needed to explain and mainly I needed him to let me go.

It was a dilemma, I wanted to discuss it with Taehyung but there was a fear that if I did he wouldn't let me go.

I walked out the chambers and Taehyung was standing on deck. The starts and the fullmoon shone brightly over the sea.

he turned his head and smiled at me.

I showed the letter to him, he silently read through it

-'yeah you're not considering this for real are you?' he said to me

-'I am actually' I replied very calmly

-'y/n you can't be serious, Jin will never let you go if you go there'

'he says it's just the two of us to talk. I know my brother, he keeps his word above all'

Taehyung shook his head

-'it's out of the question'

I took his hands

-'you need to trust me, I need to see him' I stated

-'why? What if he locks you up? y/n we can just go somewhere, anywhere and build a home and that way Jin won't find us.'

-'build a home?' I asked perplexed

Taehyung awkwardly looked away

-'yeah I mean if you want to'

-'what about your ship?'

-'I'll give it to Jimin and Yoongi'

My heart was beating rapidly against my chest

-'you'd do that for me?' 

Taehyung stepped closer putting his arms around my waist

-'I almost lost you twice already and I can't bare the thought of that happening a third time, I never want to feel that lost again. it's just a ship'

-'I know what that ship means to you' I said, because I did, he told me.

"it's my home, no it's more than a home it's my freedom"

He put a strand of hair behind my ear

-'I found something that means a lot more to me now'

I leaned in and put my lips on his. My body filled up with this warm fuzzy feeling as his words replayed in my mind. 

Jin pov

I knocked on the door and impatiently waited for someone to open up.

Finally the door opened

-'jin?'

Nari looked at me perplexed

-'uh Hoseok is away for the week to Yeosu' she stated 'yes I know I give the orders remember?' I asked

-'yeah but I thought you maybe didn't as you are here?'

-'I am here to see you actually'

-'oh, well come in then' she said and I stepped into their villa. 'do you want some tea?' she asked 'yes please'

she came with a pot of tea and poured me a glass.

-'so what can I do for you?' she asked

-'uhm so, I wanted to know about your experience with the pirate Kim Taehyung, as you were his ex lover'

-'uhm' she hesitated 'what is it that you wish to know'

'what is he like?'

'in all honesty?' she asked and I nodded

'he is a good man. I mean aside from the pirate thing. he seems cold but if he cares for something or someone he really gives it all'

-'why did you betray him?' I asked bluntly 

'I uh' she surely was taken off guard by that question

-'I loved him yes, and he loved me. but I think from both sides it was this novel naivety. the thought of love rather then actually loving'

-'what do you mean?'

-'I wanted to settle down, I was never really made for the pirate life, I was born into it. I asked, no I begged him sometimes to settle down but he couldn't give up his ship for me. I think if I was the one for him he might have. and from my side when I received the full pardon and was able to settle I felt relieved. but I was a 100% sure when I met Hoseok, because what I fell for him was truly love and not the idea of love'

-'hmm' I replied to her whole story

-'why do you wish to know?'

-'no just information' I indicated and she nodded. I got up 'thank you for telling me'

-'no problem'
