It was a boring day today and everyone was slumping or sitting on the deck. I was next to Namjoon and I was helping him with improving his French, as he requested my help for that.

Yoongi appeared in front of me

-'y/n, as we are bored as hell, could you humor me and sing a song?'

-'uh what?'

-'sing a song? you were raised in a wealthy family, so you must have had lessons'

He was right though I did have some lessons

All the men cheered me on and Namjoon also clapped, for some reason that gave me the final push to just do it

-'fine' I said, I was pulled up by two men and put on a platform

-'so what do you want to hear, captain, happy or sad?'

- 'start with a sad one, after there will be time for a happy song' 

I breathed in and started the song

During the singing I exchanged looks with Yoongi and Namjoon. Who both seemed to be touched by the song. when I was done they all clapped and whistled.

- 'So now a happy one I suppose?' I directed my question at Yoongi but instead the crew enthusiastically cheered

he nudged at them 'I guess you have your answer'

-'alright it will be a bit tricky without background music, but if you clap with me it will be better. can you do that?' I said to everyone

-'AYEEEE'

-'and don't be scared to show your dance moves, I know I will' I indicated and I saw Yoongi chuckle. It probably helped that most of them were drunk anyways

I started the song and the crew enthusiastically started cheering and clapping with me while I sang the words.

"Her breath began to speak as she stood right in front of me

As I saw everyone dancing I couldn't help but smile but there was also a sadness as I felt a flashback to the moment I danced with Taehyung. How he pulled me closer. I quickly waved it away, it wasn't wise to dwell on those memories and thoughts right now.

Two of the guys helped me down and I was in the center again dancing and singing. Actually enjoying myself. Namjoon joined as well and he had the most adorable smile as he was awkwardly struggling with the dance passes.

A week later I woke up in the middle of the night by the waves aggressively hitting the ship. There was loud thunder and I could even hear the gusts of wind. It must be a huge storm. It became wetter and wetter below deck. All three of us stood up, our feet wet.

Yunho ran down and unlocked our cells

-'there is a big storm and it would be better to be on the deck'

We all went to the main deck, Jimin and Jungkook were helping the crew with controlling everything. The power and impact of the wind was crazy, water was splashed on the deck constantly due to the enormous waves.

I wanted to help as well but I wasn't entirely sure what to do.

 There was so much happening

Some stuff on the ship was blown away by the wind and even the men had a hard time remaining in their places. Yoongi helped the men as was Namjoon.

The lightning suddenly struck the ship making me scream out of shock. it hid a beam of the ship which broke and it seemed to fall down. I stood frozen watching how this big wooden thing came my way. why couldn't I move? I closed my eyes instead.

Someone pushed me out of the way and landed on top of me, I expected it to be Jungkook or Jimin but as I opened my eyes I looked into the ones of Namjoon. our faces were just inches away.

 He quickly got up and reached out his hand pulling me up.

I looked at the spot where I just stood, the big beam of the ship fell right on there.

-'thank you for saving me' I shouted as it was hard to understand each other with this huge storm going on.

-'go to yoongi's chamber, right now I need you to be safe' he shouted and so I did.

The next morning it became clear I was lucky, but others were not. Three members of the crew didn't make it and were blown of the ship by the massive waves hitting the deck.

That was also part of the pirate lifestyle apparently.

Ever since that moment we were all three allowed to be on deck together, I guess the fact both Jimin and Jungkook risked their lives to help was a reason for this.

Jin pov

I was enjoying an iced drink outside when Hoseok came running to me. he was carrying a letter in his hand. instead of handing it to me he explained the content to me while gasping from air from his running.

-'Jin, Taehyung doesn't have y/n it's captain Min Yoongi'

I leaned back in my chair. Min Yoongi was a known captain in the navy as he targeted our ships only. It was his mission, but he never took captives so that was odd.

I should have never let y/n out of her room. That was the biggest mistake I made.

-'Taehyung also proposes to work together against Yoongi'

I chuckled 'is he delusional?'

Hoseok chuckled as well 'I have good news though'

he didn't immediately add the good news and I impatiently pressured him

-'well?'
