Preston's POV

I saw Tia laying in that hospital bed. She was out cold.

"If I was just here... maybe this... this wouldn't of happened!" I say feeling guilty.

"Preston, you had no control over this, you couldn't of done anything," Morgan says.

Lucia was with us along with her father. Her father's heart was breaking and his eyes showed it all. His only child after her brother being gone? That could only do more harm than good.

"If she comes out of this, what's going to happen?" Tyler asks me.

"I'm not letting go so easily this time," I say, "I can't possibly make that mistake again."

"Good call," he says, "how do you think she'll react to you being here?"

"We'll have to wait and find out," I say.

Tia's POV

Where am I? This place is... it's some sort of... island?

I look around and see someone with brown hair sitting in a chair.

"Jack?" I say confused.

"Not Jack, sis," I heart the familiar voice.

"Oh my god... Alex?" I say shocked as he stands up.

"Yep," he says holding a fruit drink, "I missed you sis."

"What? Am I... dead?" I ask.

"No. You're in a coma," he says, "you'll be waking soon."

"Do you have any advice for me?" I ask.

"I see you've been stuck on that Preston boy for awhile, I'd say don't waste anymore time. Just go for him. People aren't perfect, but he's trying his hardest for you. I know it," He says as I see a flash of white, "say hello to mom and dad for me."

"Alex?" I say staring at the florescent lights.

"Tia, it's me... Preston," I hear the familiar voice.

"Preston..." I say grabbing him, "don't leave me! Don't do that again! Please!"

Preston's POV

The doctors and nurses rushed into the room and pulled me away.

"Her blood pressure is rising!" The doctor says.

"Sir, you need to go, visiting hours are over," the nurse says.

"Preston!" She cried, "Preston!"

After about two hours, I was able to visit again. This time I saw a woman next to her. She had a resemblance to Tia and stroked her hair.

"Oh, who are you?" She asks.

"I'm Preston, I'm a friend of Tia's," I say.

"I'm her mother, Aurora," she smiles at me, "I think Tia should be waking soon enough. How'd you two meet?"

"Hawaii, three years ago," I say, "we had a... a fling and I guess I couldn't get over her."

She laughs.

"Ah yes, another one. She has those lots of them. They all come back to her," she laughs.

Tia's brown eyes flickered open.

"Mommy?" She smiles to Aurora.

"Oh, my baby," Aurora says hugging Tia.

"Mom, I'm sorry, I should've..."

"Shh, it's alright Tia, as long as you're okay," she says, "you have a visitor."

Tia looks over at me.

"Preston?" She says, "how'd you... how'd you get here?"

"I flew," he says.

Tia's POV

My mother went down to her car to grab me food as I stayed with Preston.

"Is this... is this even real?" I asks sitting up.

"Yes Tia, it is, I came to see you," he says, "I can't keep messing around like this, I actually need to get it together."

"What the fuck are you talking about?" I ask.

"Tia, I want to be with you, I don't know how else to say this. Tia, I let you go once, I can't do that again," he says.

"Wait are you serious?" I ask.

"Tia, if I wasn't serious, why would I do this?" He says revealing his arm.

My eyes widened.

Celestia was written on his arm. Not written, tattooed.

"Oh my god..." I say, "is it... real?"

"If my love for you wasn't real, then this wouldn't be either," he says kissing me.

"Preston... I... I'm not wasting my life anymore, I'm going to swear off to you," I say.
