Everett said he wanted to take me out after school and I agreed. I like spending time with him.

There's a winter festival at the amusement park where you can do ice-skating, listen to good musics and eat delicious foods. I've never been to one before.

Everett said we should try ice-skating and my eyes widened. "I've never did ice skating before."

"I'll teach you." He said with a smile.

He rented the ice skates and helped me put it on even though I could have did it by myself. He fixed my scarf and my beanies before helping me stand.

"You've got this." He said. My hands was on his arms and I squealed a little when I moved slightly.

It took me a while to ease a little and move with his help. He was patient as I moved slowly.

"No." I squealed when Everett moved my hands away from his arms. He wanted me to do it by myself. "I'll fall."

"You won't." He said. I tried adjusting and stood still, afraid if I moved. I will slip and fall.

He intertwine our hands and started skating with me beside him. The lights looked nicer, now that the sun had set. Everett went to buy us hot drinks and some snacks after our skating session.

"Hey there." A group of guys stood in front of me while I was sitting and waiting for Everett to return.

"You seem lonely." One of them said. "Would you like to join us?"

"No." I said cautiously. "I'm here with my boyfriend."

"Oh." Another one said. "Okay. If you change your mind. We're here."

I thanked them as they walked away. I sighed in relief.

"Who were they?" Everett asked as he handed me a hot drink.

"Just strangers." I said as I sipped the hot chocolate. It was delicious and creamy.

"There's whipped cream, here." Everett wiped the cream away and I smiled.

He bought some muffins and fried foods for us to eat.

"This Saturday I will be hanging out with Grayson, my biological Dad." I said.

He looked at me quickly with a worried look.

"Will you be okay?" He asked.

"He's trying." I said. "I don't want to be selfish and mean. I should give him a chance. At least he wants to try after knowing I exist.."

"You don't have to force yourself doing things you don't want to." He said.

"I won't." I said to him as he tucked my hair behind my ear and kissed my lip.

Saturday flew by quicker than I wanted. Grayson picked up for breakfast. He kept thanking my parents for raising me this well and I saw my dad looking uncomfortable for the first time this week.

Grayson is a very intelligent and have a good sense of humour. Through out the whole day, he tried to make things comfortable for me. He took me to local diner and restaurant. We played the arcade that was in the restaurant and so far, I like him.

He's not arrogant or stuck up. He's humble and kind. We went to aquarium and it was busy.

"I've thought that if I ever had children. I would take them to the aquarium and zoos and we could bond over that way." He said while we stood watching the fishes that was swimming.

"Have you ever considered marrying again?" I asked. "I know you and.." I don't know? Should I say wife? My biological mom?

"Your mom has been my first and last love." He said to me with a sad smile. "I don't see myself with anyone else apart from her."

Oh.

We walked around the aquarium as he asked me some questions and allowed me to ask him questions as well.

He bought me a dolphin soft toy and apologized for not being there during my childhood.

He took me out shopping after that and I told him I didn't need or wanted anything, but he bought it anyway.

He bought me bags, clothings, shoes, and watches without me asking him to and I felt very unpleasant.

When I was home that night, Dad was in the living room.

"Did you have fun?" Mom asked.

"Yes." I said holding all the things in my hands. Grayson bought way too many things for me.

Dad was quiet, he didn't say anything. I wish he would have said something, anything apart from silence.

I called Everett and told him about my day. He sounded genuinely happy that Grayson was nice and that I had a good day.

"What did you do today?" I asked.

"Apart from missing you, I was drawing. Evan told me to share my art work in social media. I got thousand followers so far within the twenty-four hours and posted three works of mine."

"Where is your work?" I asked. "I want to follow you."

He shared his username on the social media page. I see the drawings, it was breath-taking. It was a mountain view, a waterfall and lastly a city view.

"This is so cool." I said to him.

"I'll be posting some illustration." He said. "I'm just going to try and see the responds of the people."

I followed him and liked his art work.

"How are your parents doing?" He asked quietly.

"I think we're avoiding each other." I said. It's almost like the time, when they told me I was adopted and we couldn't face each other after that.

"Why don't you start a conversation?" He asked. "I'm sure your parents would love to talk to you."

"I need a little more time." I said to him. "I'm upset with them. I don't want us to fight. I want us to just have a talk, talk everything out without much problems."

"But someone have to start first?" He said.

"I'm not ready." I said to him, again.
