Emily

News flooded around like wild fire about Everett and me being in a relationship. Some people came forward to ask if it was true. The jocks and cheerleaders give me looks like they were judging me whenever I walk passed them.

Morgan and I shared few classes, she came to me with excitement in her eyes and, it's very rare when you see her excited. She always have impassive or bored look on her face.

"Is it true? You and Levi?" she asked.

I chuckled and nodded and her eyes widened.

"We were talking about that yesterday.. what made you change your mind? actually, don't tell me. I just want to say I'm so happy for you." and she hugged me. "I'm very excited for you."

and I laughed and before I could have said something, the teacher told us to settle down for class.

On my way to the staircase, I met some cheerleaders.

"Is it true you are dating Everett?" the tall blond asked me with a curious look while her friends give me those curious looks.

"Yes." I said and waited for them to react.

They simply nodded their head, "You two look cute  together." the shorter one with short hair said. "It was obvious he liked you, but we didn't expect you to like him, back. We all are glad and happy for you two."

"Thanks." I said surprised by what they were saying. I didn't expect this from them. I thought they would hate me because they are basically his fans.

"Please do join us for lunch with Everett sometime." The blond said and the others nodded their head and I give them a small nod and a smile, which they returned with ease.

"Em." I heard Morgan calling my name from across the hallway as she made her way towards me. We both walked towards the staircase and discussed about our coming test on Friday.

"Do you want to come over at my place on Thursday to study? I asked her.

"Can I?" she asked.

"Definitely." I said.

"Thank you, Em." she hugged me and I smiled.

Everett was already sitting on the stairs. He stood up and pulled me for a hug and pecked my cheeks.

"Look at you two." Bloom teased as she joined us with Aaliyah and Evan behind her.

I smiled at her as we all gathered around for lunch. Everett bought us some burgers and fries which we were grateful for.

"What's the plan for Thanksgiving?" Evan asked.

"How about we have weekend sleepover at my place and celebrate Thanksgiving together?" Everett suggested.

"Sleepover at your place? for real?" Bloom squealed in excitement. "I'm in. Although, I have Thanksgiving lunch on Monday, but I can do it."

"My Dad is not in town anyway, so I'm in as well." Morgan shrugged.

Evan shrugged. "His place is like my second home."

We all looked at Aaliyah.

"I'm not sure.. I've never had sleepover at someone else's place before. I will let you guys know?" she said.

"Sure." I said to her.

"Do you like the burger?" Everett whispered beside me.

"You do know quite a lots of good restaurants and Café." I said to him.

"When you're bored, you just have to explore some places." he shrugged and smiled. "I'm glad you are eating well." and bumped his head gently with mine.

After school, Everett was already waiting for me. Maybe, it's my first relationship and maybe because I'm with a guy, that I like. I was happy and grateful. Not everyone get to like someone and have them like you back.

I promised Bloom and Aaliyah I will be studying with them, tomorrow. Even though I'm in a relationship. I don't want to make the mistake of neglecting my friends when I'm in a relationship. I also don't want Everett to neglect his friendship with others. We both have social lives and friends outside our little bubbles.

We went back to his place to study, Mr. Harper once again made snacks for us and I felt a little uncomfortable with him going overboard with snacks.

"Does he always make lavish snacks all the time for you?"

"Most of the time." He said.

Oh.

During snacks, I shared with him about school and shared the announcement of the classes that we shared.

We went to his study room, which was basically a large room with a large table and few chairs around it. There were shelves with lots of books, leather couch and glass table. The room bright and beautiful, different from his room, which have darker shades.

He looked through the notes of mine and I went through my assignment as we both studied together. Even though, he didn't attend many classes, he was up-to-date about what was going in classes. He said, people send him notes and announcements through messages.

It was six-forty pm. We've been studying for three hours. I have finished my assignments for the day and was studying for my test on Friday on the couch, while Everett was doing something on his iPad. He was sitting near the desk and was using stylus pen to do something.

His face was in a frown as he concentrated on what he was doing. I closed the book quietly as I made my way to see what he was doing. I stood behind him and peeped. He was doing digital art on his iPad Pro.

What surprised me the most was the drawing. It was of me sitting on the couch and reading the book with a frown on my face.

"What's this?" I asked and he jumped a little and then he covered the iPad with his arms.

"When did you come here?" he asked.

"What are you drawing?" I asked.

"Nothing." he said, flustered. I like flustered Everett. It's rare to see him flustered once in a while. He's always cool and composed.

"C'mon, show me." I whined.

"Did Emily just whined because she wanted to see my drawing?" he was amused as he stood up and hid the iPad behind him.

"I want to see." I said to him as I reached to grab his iPad. He held the iPad up, out of my reach and I pouted and he laughed as he turned me around my waist. He sat down on the rolling chair and pulled me to sit on his lap. I gasped surprised at first and then relaxed a bit.

He unlocked the iPad and I see the drawing, its still incomplete. He was colouring the picture.

"I thought you were studying." I said as I glanced back to look at him.

He give me a sheepish smile. "You looked so beautiful sitting there and I just felt like I should draw." he shrugged.

"You're good, more than just good." I said. "Do you have more drawing?"

"Yea." he said as he went back and I see his collection. There were many drawings of places, animals, building and I see drawings of me as I scrolled at the bottom. A lots of them actually. Me frowning, me laughing, me smiling and all sorts of expression.

I shifted to look at him.

"Its not that good."

"When did you do this?" I asked about the drawings.

"I did it when I was bored." he said.

"Its so beautiful Everett. Although, it's embarrassing to see myself in your point of view. Your drawings are perfect."

"Really?" he give me a hopeful look and I nodded my head.

"You did more than just a good job." I said and he smiled as he leaned closed to me. His eyes was looking at my lip and I knew what he wanted, a kiss.

I leaned closer and kissed him. He took the iPad from my hand and put it on the side, while still kissing me. He then pulled back and cleared the table and lifted me and placed me down gently on the table as he kissed me. He was standing in between my leg. My arms wrapped around his neck.

"You. are. so. damn. beautiful .and. breath. taking." he said in between the kisses. He bit my lip, gently and I gasped and he took that opportunity and his tongue explored my mouth.

There was a knock at the door and he pulled away quickly and helped me stand up and I didn't turn to look who it was.

"Come in." he said after clearing his throat.

"Master Everett. Dinner is ready." I heard a male's voice.

"We're coming." he said in a monotone and I heard the door closing. He kissed my forehead, gently. "You're a good kisser." I don't know if he's teasing me or is being serious about it.

"Penny for your thoughts?" he asked me.

"Nothing." I said shaking my head.

"You still have a frown. Tell me about it."

"Lets go for dinner." I said as I turned away from him. I know he have been with lots of girls, and must have kissed a lot of girls, but he was my first kiss and he's my first boyfriend. I don't know if he's been serious about me being a good-kisser or was joking. I don't have any experience when it comes to relationships and things and that made me feel self-conscious. Will I ever be good enough for him? Would he get bored of me and leave me?  Am I just someone he wants for a moment? and that made my stomach dropped at that thought.
