"And you think it was-"

"Shh!"

"Sorry, so you think it was um... that girl? Do you really think she's capable of writing a death threat like that?" Yasmine asks as we wait for the history class to be over.

"I do. For a couple weeks now she's been bullying me about me 'stealing' her boyfriend." I make air quotes around stealing. "I don't know of anyone else who is that crazy." Yasmine nods in agreement. Drew and I agreed to meet after this class so we can confront who we think wrote the note. But it's been gnawing at me all day.

"Well chica, I will pummel her if needed."

I let out a laugh. "Thanks Yassy but I don't think that will be necessary. Drew has already get a price on her head." The bell rings sending my nerves skyrocketing. When we get into the hallway I immediately see Drew leaning against the wall.

"Ready?" He asks studying me.

"As ready as I'll ever be." We wait as Caitlyn comes out of the classroom, with her group of high and mighty snobs of friends.

"Yo, Caitlyn!" Drew shouts. She whips her pretty little head over to us, her face instantly going into one of disgust. She turns away from us and continues to walk. "Caitlyn, get over here, we have to talk."

She stops walking and says something to her friends, then comes over to us. Her eyes scan over me and I can't help but feel self conscious. "What do you want?" Caitlyn snarls.

"I think you know exactly what we want." I snap finally finding my voice.

"Um, yeah actually I don't. So unless your going to keep playing games, I'm just going to go." I shove the note in her face angry that she's playing dumb.

"This is what we're talking about! Why would you write this?" She rips the note out of my hands and reads over it, a smile forming across her lips.

"I didn't write this but props who did." I narrow my eyes at her.

"Your lying."

"No, I'm not. If you haven't noticed if I want to threaten someone, I have a more direct approach." She hands the note back to me. "Hope you find who wrote it." She says. Suddenly she whips around and lets out a laugh, "Who am I kidding, I only hope you find out before it's too late." Yasmine starts to run after her but I hold her back.

"What are you doing?" Yasmine demands.

"She's not worth it. She's telling the truth."

Drew scoffs. "How would you know that?"

"Because she's right. Every time she's threatened me its always up in my face or per say tripping me in the hallway. Notes aren't her thing."

"Well who's are they?" Drew deadpans.

I shake my head biting my fingernail. "I don't know, but we have to find soon."

"I think I want a tattoo." Kora exclaims from shot gun of Drew's truck.

"Mom would kill me." Drew mutters from the driver's seat.

"Boo hoo for you. At least I would have a tattoo." I let out a laugh at her bluntness.

"You think that's funny huh?" Drew teases looking at me through the mirror. I cover my smile and look out the window.

"No, not at all."

After we confronted Caitlyn; Drew, Yasmine or I couldn't figure out who wrote the note. Drew and I had just decided to forget it for now and focus on finishing the project. We decided to take some in the city instead of by the beach. Once Drew finds a parking spot we hop out of the truck and get onto the sidewalk.

"So we still need about twelve pictures." I say.

"Twelve? That many?" Drew asks in disbelief.

"Yeah, and we need opposites for all of them." I pull up the uploaded pcitres on my phone and show them to Kora and Drew. "So all we have is the ocean wave, the girl crying, the couple on the beach-"

"Oh, he's cute." Kora gushes looking at the picture I took. Drew gives her a warning look. "Chill bro." She rolls her eyes.

"Anyways next is the mom and daughter which counts as one opposite," I continue, "The book tunnel, a dancer from Quinn's competition, and a couple pictures of people from the boardwalk when you did that rap."

"Oh my god! Did you rap Hot Wings?" Kora laughs.

"Sure did." Drew states proudly.

"You know what I just realized?" I asks. They wait for me to continue. "I just realized how stupid this assignment is. How are we supposed to find opposites for all this stuff?"

"Beats me." Drew shrugs.

"Well standing around isn't going to help, Lets get a move on!" Kora shouts taking the lead. Drew and I share a smile as we continue to watch her walk away. When Kora realizes we're not following she turns around.

"What are you guys waiting for?"

"Kor, we're going this way." Drew says pointing to the opposite direction. Kora gives us a sheepish look and runs over to our sides.

"I knew that."

"Do you remember his face?" Kora laughs again. I laugh along holding my aching stomach.

"Yeah, he was so confused. Like hey why is someone random stranger taking a picture of me." Drew laughs along.

After an hour or so we managed to take a picture of urban life to contrast the ocean picture, a little girl laughing as she left the library with a new book to contrast the crying girl, and just now a old couple sharing some ice cream to contrast the young couple from the beach.

"I think that old people just resent technology in general." Kora mutters wiping tears from her eyes.

"Agreed." Drew and I say at the same time sending us laughing all over again. A piece of my hair falls over my face as I laugh and I go to wipe it away but Drew beats me to it. I watch him curiously as he brushes the hair behind my ear. Weird tingles spread through my body at his tender touch.

"Thanks." I stamper out.

"No problem." He says ears turning pink.

"Oh my gosh a tattoo parlor!" Kora yells. Sure enough we ended standing outside a sketchy looking tattoo place. "Ashley come on!" Kora grips my wrist and starts to pull me inside but Drew pulls us back.

"Kor, be realistic. Your not getting a tattoo."

"Yeah I am. Since when are you dad?"

"Since now when you want to put ink on your body."

"Too bad." She pulls me again this time Drew not stopping her.

"When Mom and Dad find out you better tell them I tried to stop you."

"Yeah yeah. You go take pictures or whatever and meet us here in an hour." I look over my shoulder just as the front door closes at Drew who's giving me one of his signature smirks.

Has his smirks always been that sexy?
