"She did what?" Nie screams into the phone.

     "Are you okay? Is Echo okay?" Shay also raises her voice on the phone.

     I just broke the news to them that my "mother" called me. They are panicking more than me it seems.

     "Are you going to class today?" Nie asks in a soft voice.

     "I don't know yet. Probably."

     "If you're not going to class then I'll come over."

     "Shay, you don't have to do that. Go to class, I'll be fine." I say, realizing I don't want to send Echo to school today. "I'll stay with Echo."

     "If you say so," Nie says, trailing off.

     "I'm gonna go get ready for class. Text Mr. Abboud so he knows you won't be there today. Love you." Nie says, ending the call.

     "Bye love bug. Stay safe. Love you." Shay says, hanging up shortly after.

     After we end the call, I walk back to my room to see Echo still sleeping peacefully. I walk into the bathroom and start brushing my teeth and washing my face. I hear little sniffles once again so I walk back into my bedroom to see Echo sitting up and crying.

     "Baby, what's wrong?" I coo, rushing over to pick her up.

     "Mommy was sad last night and I don't want mommy sad." She says with a little pout on her face.

     "Awe baby! Mommy is going to be okay, mkay?" I say, kissing her little face. I pick her up and hold her to my front so her little arms wrap around my neck and her head rests on my breasts while her legs wrap around my stomach.

     "Okay, mommy." She says quietly. I walk back into the bathroom and brush Echo's teeth. I put the toilet seat down and place a towel on top of it. I set Echo down on the towel and hand her my phone.

     "Mommy has to take a shower so be a good girl and sit here, okay?"

     "Okie Mommy!" Echo replies, smiling at me.

     Echo and I both changed our clothes and we ate some noodles for breakfast. We are laying down on the couch watching Netflix. I'm laying on my back with my head rested on the armrest while Echo lays her head on my breasts and her little legs reaching no further than my thighs.

     That's when I remember I needed to text my professors.

     I swear, if he doesn't stop calling me sweetheart, I'm going to marry him. I lied about Echo being sick because he doesn't need to know the real reason I'm not going in.

     I continued watching the movie with Echo giggling and babbling to herself. She's so cute.

     I got a notification on my phone so I reached over to the coffee table and grabbed it, checking the notification.

Shortly after, I got another notification causing me to groan. Why is the world testing my patience today?

I grab my phone from the table, again. And check the notification.

     What the egg. I told them to go to class. Although I'm slightly irritated they are just throwing away their education for me, I smile at the thought that my friends took that risk.

     I slowly sit up with Echo still gripping onto my shirt with her tiny little fists. I walk to the door with Echo sucking on her thumb with one hand and the other wrapped around my neck.

     "Guys, I told you to stay in school," I say as I open the door, letting my best friends in.

     "Girl, we do not care. We are your protectors." Shay says walking past me as Nie just kisses mine and Echo's cheek.

     "I brought us all Chinese food from the new place uptown."

     "Thank's boo. We can eat in the living room."

     We all walk towards the living room and sit at the coffee table while Nie set's everything up and puts on a new movie.

     "What do we say, Echo?" I ask, encouraging her to use her manners.

     "Thank you Aunt Nie-Nie and Aunt Shay!" She says, clapping her tiny hands while she sits on my lap, bouncing up and down.

     Shay and Nie both laugh at her excitement.

      "Your welcome little baby!" Nie says, leaning down and kissing her cheek.

     Echo takes a bite of her pork dumpling and takes a sip of water out of her Moana sippy cup.  I lean over and take a bite out of Nie's shrimp lo mein before Shay speaks up.

      "How're you doing?" She says in a questioning tone.

     "I'm fine. I just don't know how she got my number."

     "That's what I'm trying to figure out as well," Nie speaks up.

     Echo was just in her own little world, occasionally taking a bite out of my rice by literally digging her hands into it.

     "If she was able to get it then there's no doubt he could too," I say, nervously.

     "Babe, don't worry. Everything will be okay. We could always go to the police?" Shay suggests.

     "No. Absolutely no police."

     "What about the FBI? They're more trustable?" Nie also suggests.

     "Maybe. Let's just cross that bridge when we get there." I say, taking a bite out of my bbq chicken and rice with my wooden chopsticks.

     "If, we get there Phoebe. Don't say when, there's a possibility he won't find you guys." Nie scolds.

     "There's an even stronger possibility he will. I'm being realistic here."

     Nie sighs at this and looks at me.

     "You're gonna be okay. We'll all be okay. We're here for you." She says, reaching over to give me a hug.

     All of my emotions come crashing down and I sob in her arms, causing Shay to come on the other side of me and hug me. Echo is just living her best life eating her little dumplings. She suddenly just turns around and hugs my waist with her tiny little arms.

     "I love you, mommy!"

     "I love you too baby!" I say, giggling.

     "Dude I swear your tiddies have gotten a lot bigger," Shay exclaims, causing Nie to laugh and me to roll my eyes.

     "Shay!"

     "Girl, do you see them? What size are you? I'm jealous."

     I was well aware my boobs were bigger than average, especially after I had Echo.

     "Shay I will kill you."

     "Don't say that stuff around baby!" Nie exclaims, causing Shay to giggle.

     "You literally have an hourglass body. Hashtag jealous. I wanna get a bbl so my butt can be as big as Phoebs. Have y'all seen that dumpy? Lawd have mercy." Shay exclaims, fanning herself. This causing Nie and I to laugh so hard that tears stream down our faces, Echo oblivious to what we are talking about.

     "I really hate you," I say, wiping my eyes.

     "Love you too bae," Shay says, blowing me a kiss, making me gag.
