After everyone ate breakfast, the boys got dressed into regular comfy clothes and piled into Dreams car to the grocery store. After chatter and giggles in the car, they pulled into the parking lot.

As they walked side by side into the store, crossing in front of a few cars, George could feel the brush of Dreams hand beside his.

He would glance at their hands blissfully every few seconds, then to Dreams face.

Once they got into the store, their hands grew further apart. Shivers flew up George's spine as he followed Sapnap and Dream close behind.

They finally got into the candy aisle.

"I want skittles," Sapnap muttered.

Dream glared.

"Okay, Nick. Go grab some skittles."

Sapnap nearly squealed like a child as he jogged to the end of the aisle.

"Get a little pack!" Dream called after him.

Sapnap shot him a thumbs up then looked away.

George tensed, he didn't know why being close to Dream caused his muscles to tense up.

"Want anything?" Dream asked.

"Oh, no. I'll just get popcorn when we get there." George replied, flashing Dream a quick smile.

As Dream stepped away, his mind went back to last night.

His helpless, yet stupid mother calling him again after months of change.

George having to get his own apartment solely because his mother couldn't fuck different men with him in the house.

Perhaps her kicking him out benefited him, though. He couldn't stand being around her.

Yet the thought still lurks around his mind.

He didn't want his friends to think something was wrong with him. He wanted to act like everything was perfectly fine so he wouldn't be questioned.

He glanced at Dream, who was now beside Nick arguing with him.

Maybe the best option would be to talk to his friends about his situation.

He trusted them with his life.

Well, maybe not Sapnap entirely. He already teased him enough.

Deep into his thoughts, both Dream and Sapnap approached him.

"Alright, we have what we need. Let's go," Dream said, then started walking pass the two short boys behind.

Once they made it to the movie theater, they found a way to hide the candy deep into George's large pocket of his coat.

While inside, Dream bought the tickets and George bought the popcorn with his now American Dollars.

The movie theater was dark inside the main lobby, slow and calm music playing in the background above the employees.

Dream got the tickets and designated seats, so they all started walking to the room they were watching their movie in.

The boys walked up the small slanted ramp, peering above the black carpeted mantle to see a half way full area of multiple seats.

They all settled into the back row, with the screen being too close in the front or middle.

Dream sat in the middle, with George on the right of him and Sapnap chewing obnoxiously on the left.

Once the movie started, the screen slowly turned white introducing the title.

The lights around them dimmed, George's body tense once again.

A minute in, his leg started bouncing lightly.

He was thinking about everyone besides the movie.

He felt Dreams eyes move to his leg.

George knew he was watching, and stopped bouncing his leg. He gulped, swallowing a large lump in his throat.

That's when he felt the light whisper in his ear.

"George? Are you okay?" Dream whispered, slowly but surely.

His face, so close to his neck.

George nodded, not daring to turn his head to face Dream.

He wasn't looking directly at Dream but he could still see him.

His fluffy dirty blond hair, light lips and yellow eyes.

Scratch that. His green eyes that George wasn't able to see the true colors of.

He finally felt Dreams eyes float off to something else. His eyes were off of him.

The stress fell off.

Until he felt a hand collapse onto his thigh.

His eyes shot to his thigh, Dreams hand resting on it. He looked at Dream, who's eyes faced the large screen.

Warm.

George felt his own muscles relax, his legs stopped bouncing. His thoughts were still scattered but he wasn't thinking about his mom or the movie.

"That was actually shit," Sapnap muttered as soon as the last car door slammed. Dream collapsed in his seat, fastening his seatbelt.

"Tell me about it," He replied.

"You guys are dramatic. It wasn't that bad."

Sapnap glared.

"Oh george. Always trying to be different."

George reached over from the back seat and hit his arm.

"So where should we eat?" Sapnap asked, facing Dream.

He shrugged.

"I don't know. There's this nice ass seafood hut thing by the beachside."

"Nah," Sapnap said, "we should save that for a day we actually go to the beach."

He then pulled out his phone and spoke to Siri.

"Find me the nearest restaurant."

Dreams eyes moved from Sapnap in the passengers seat to George, in the back.

"Oooh, there's this place called 'Robins Den'. It has quite the variety."

George nodded. "Variety. Sounds good, let's go."

Dream peaked at George through the rearview mirror, then settling his eyes back onto the road.

He pulled out from the movie theaters parking lot, then pulled onto the busy road. The restaurant wasn't very far, being the closest to them.

Once at the restaurant, they piled out to approach.

"Dude, this is kinda nice." Sapnap muttered.

"Are you kidding?" George replied, "this is a shithole."

The three observed the peeled paint that fell from the building, the scraped wood beneath it.

"Hey, you never know how good the food is. Maybe they just.. haven't had a renovation in awhile."

George glared.

They all walked side by side into the restaurant, greeted by a blond girl with short hair and very short bangs.

She wore a baby blue outfit and a black apron on top.

Her shoes were almost identical to tap shoes.

When they entered, she stood behind the large desk which had a jar of mints on the far left side. She picked up her clipboard and observed the group.

"Hello, Gentlemen. Welcome to Robins."

Dream nodded.

"Hi, can we get a table for three please?"

She nodded, writing something down.

"Can I have a name?"

Dream gave her all the info needed. She then lead the boys to a table through multiple others, most empty.

It was surprisingly much nicer on the inside.

They sure did need a renovation on the exterior.

They all sat down at a booth, Dream sitting across from George and Sapnap.

"Are you guys good for drinks?"

They all nodded, as she turned to George.

"Can I just get a water with ice and lemon?" George asks, politely.

She nods, scribbling it down.

"And for you?" She asks, pointing to Sapnap.

"Hey! Hi. Strawberry lemonade."

"Mhm. Okay."

"I'll just get a water," Dream responded.

She nodded and walked away.

Dream picked up his menu, George glancing at him every few seconds.

"What are you getting, Georgie?" Sapnap asks, playing with his fork.

"I don't know. What are some American-ish shit to eat?"

Sapnap immediately smacked his finger down onto George's menu, pointing to a regular cheeseburger and fries.

Dream shook his head.

"No, no, George. You should get a grilled cheese. That's what I'm getting."

George looked from Sapnap to Dream as Sapnap glared.

Dream smirked.

"I'll just get like two slices of pizza." He confirmed, closing his menu. Sapnap was the one smirking now.

When the waitress came back, she gave them their drinks and took their food orders. She tiredly trudged away, annoyed with one of Sapnaps pick up lines.

"Shes so into me." He whispered.

Dream started laughing. "No way, dude. She looked like she wanted to take that butter knife and stab you multiple times until she was satisfied."

Sapnap crossed his arms.

"Fine then. Her eyes were on you the entire time, Clay. If you get her number for me, I'll leave you alone for the rest of the night."

George glared.

"Clay, don't. She already looks upset enough."

Dream bit his bottom lip.

"Oh, shut up George." Sapnap replied.

"Okay fine. When she returns with our food, I'll get her number. But you have to swear to not be a bother to me or George for the rest of the night."

Sapnap nodded and grinned.

"Maybe flirt a little bit, too. Women like guys that come on strong."

"Clearly she doesn't," George said, clearly annoyed.

All of their eyes watched as the waitress slowly walked up and approached them with their food.

"Cheeseburger?" She asked.

Sapnap raised his hand off the table, then smirked at Dream.

"Do it." He mouthed.

Dream glared.

"Uh, hey. Uh do you think that I could get your number maybe?"

George's eyes shot at the waitress to see what her reaction would be.

She raised an eyebrow, but grinned.

This was the first smile they had all seen from her.

"Sure. Write it on your bill." She flashed Dream a small smile then walked back into the kitchen to retrieve more food for other customers.

Dream sighed to himself, George slouching in his seat.

"Bro no way she actually gave in."

"I'm not actually ignoring her, Snapmap."

George watched as Sapnaps knuckles clenched and turned white. He gritted his teeth at the stupid nick name.
