As George's eyes flickered shut while the tv was quietly playing his favorite movie, a light knock tapped against the door.

It startled him, to say the least since he was half asleep.

He slowly sat up, rubbing his eyes and patting his lips.

"Hello?" He whispered.

The door opened, revealing Dream who stood in the doorway beside George's bed.

He was fully dressed, wearing a flannel and some jeans.

"Clay? What the hell are you doing? What time is it?" He whisper shouted.

"Can I take you somewhere?"

"What?"

"Can I take you somewhere. Please? You're leaving me tomorrow."

"We can't- it's-"

Before he could continued, he pulled his phone out of his pocket and turned it on, the white screen blaring against his eyes.

"It's almost one in the morning."

"George, please. I'm begging you. This is the last chance we have to spend time together a-and We won't be gone long."

Dream looked down on George innocently, still leaning against the doorframe.

At this point, George couldn't say no. And Dream had a point.

"Okay. Give me a few minutes and I'll meet you downstairs."

Dream flashed him a quick smile before giving him a thumbs up and turning out of George's room.

At first he slumped down back to how he'd previously been laying, staring at the ceiling with his phone laying on his chest while plugged into the charger.

Where was Dream even going to take him? He was too tired to bother asking.

George slipped on some casual sweatpants and a hoodie, then socks and shoes and made his way downstairs.

He didn't care for fixing up his hair or looking at himself in the mirror to make sure he looked good.

He met with Dream beside the front door.

"So, where exactly are we going?" George muttered, dangerously loud.

Dream pressed his finger to his lips, signaling for him to shut up.

"You're gonna wake up Nick."

"I don't care."

Dream glared, grabbing George by the wrist and unlocking the door.

Dream locked the door behind them, still holding onto George's wrist while they ran out to the car.

When the touch disconnected, George sighed to himself.

While pulling out of the driveway, Dream kept his eyes steady on the area in front of him while George's eyes were glued to Dreams.

"You never answered my question."

Dreams eyes didn't fall anywhere else besides the road in front of him.

"Jeez, have you ever been surprised at all? Ever?"

George shrugged, bringing his eyes to face the window.

"Oh," Dream muttered.

"What?"

Dream smirked. "So you've never been on a date before, I suppose?"

"A date? This is what this is?"

"Depends."

"I thought we agreed-"

George was interrupted by Dream reaching for the radio buttons and turning the volume up as loud as possible.

George shot both his hands to his own ears, cringing.

Dream started wheezing, but clearly it was too loud for him to so he turned it down.

George didn't dare speak the rest of the drive.

Ten minutes later, they arrived beside a sidewalk.

The sidewalk was in an empty neighborhood with multiple houses, all which had the lights inside shut off. There was also a forest beside the neighborhood.

The two stumbled out of the car, slamming the doors behind them.

At first Dream didn't move, making eye contact with George.

"George," he said in a low stern tone. "In the car I was just.. joking. This doesn't have to be a-"

"It's alright, Clay. I don't mind it."

Dream lightly grinned.

"Okay then, follow me." Dream started making his way down the pathway into the forest.

"Um, what makes you think I'm going in there?"

Dream stopped walking quickly, smirking and turning around. "Because I'm telling you to. Now get over here."

George bit his lip, shoving his hands in his pockets and speed walking over to walk beside Dream.

It was quiet, too quiet.

Once they reached far into the forest where multiple trees and bushes appeared, George was honestly terrified.

Terrified of wild animals, terrified of the darkness, terrified of being murdered.

A sense of relief came over him with the tall dirty blond by his side, and the moon lighting up their path.

Out of the corner of his eye, George spotted light ahead. As he was going to step closer to get a better look, Dream put his hand on his chest in signal for him to stop waking.

"Shut your eyes."

George didn't feel like arguing, and brought his hands over his eyes.

"How am I supposed to walk without tripping? Idiot."

"Shush."

He felt Dream grip his arm, leading him farther from where they previously stood when they saw the small light.

Out of nowhere, they stopped again.

"Dreammm," George groaned.

"Shut up, we're here now."

George quickly uncovered his eyes, but rubbed them tiredly.

It was now when he caught cite of everything.

The light they saw, fairy lights strung along a few wooden posts.

A large blanket with a basket lied on the floor fancily and a guitar beside it.

George lips parted, but he wasn't sure where to start.

"Welcome, to our kind-of date." He announced, collapsing down onto the blanket.

George just stood still, admiring the lights nicely put up.

"When did you.. do all of this?"

"A few hours ago when I told you to not come in my room while I was supposedly streaming. Sapnap actually helped me out."

"Did he?" George asked, seating himself criss cross apple sauce beside Dream, who was laying down next to the picnic basket.

"He did."

Dream faced up at the stars.

George faced Dream.

It was like the car ride here, except a little more magical feeling.

George couldn't think straight. Not with Dream. He never could.

Without any common sense floating in George's mind, he reached over and pecked a small kiss onto Dreams cheek.

When George pulled away, he felt goosebumps fly up his legs beneath his sweatpants.

Dream didn't seem phased.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to."

Dream sat himself up promptly, scooting closer to George and reaching over for the guitar.

"I just learned how to play a little bit before you and Sapnap first came to Florida. Can I play for you?"

George was satisfied with Dream for ignoring the peck.

"Yes, please."

George settled his hands folded together as Dream got comfortable setting his guitar on his lap.

Slowly, he started strumming the guitar. Sweet sounds resulted as he hummed lightly to the song he played.

George didn't take his eyes off of Dreams. They were pretty.

Very pretty.

Dream hummed a little higher, strumming more confidently.

George never wanted this very moment to end. He wished he could listen to Dream lightly humming and strumming his guitar sweetly forever.

But soon, it was over.

Dream set his guitar back in its case beside the picnic basket.

He noticed how intensely George was staring.

"That bad, huh?"

"What? Fuck, no Clay, that- that was amazing."

Dream raised an eyebrow. "I thought you'd think it's cheesy as hell."

George's smile widened as he shook his head.

"You doubt yourself too much."

Dreams smile faded as his eyes flickered to George's lips.

George internally took a large, deep breath when he noticed.

Carefully, Dream leaned in closer to George's face, cupping his jaw.

"Can I please kiss you?" He whispered, his breath hot against George's lips.

George brought his hands around Dreams waist, and plastered across his back.

"Only if you want to as much as I do."

Dream slightly smiled, almost falling into a chuckle.

"Just this once?"

"Just this once."

Their lips softly connected, a wave of cold air brushing in between their faces.

The kiss was comfortable and chaste, yet long and steady.

Through the kiss, George thought about Dream.

Dream thought about George.

They thought about each other often.

This surely wasn't one of the only times they longingly thought about each other.

Although now it was different since they knew how they felt about each other.

All they shared now was love.

Love.

All love.
