When Karl came back out of his room, Sapnap came shortly behind. As Sapnap walked to the fridge, Dream watched the frown on his face carefully form into a small smirk.

George was focused on his cereal, awkwardly, sometimes glancing up at Sapnap or Dream.

"So, how was your sleep, Dream?"

George covered his mouth, nearly spitting out cereal all over the counter. Everyone stared at him as he wiped his mouth.

"It was.. fine," Dream replied, looking from George to Sapnap.

George cleared his throat, picking up his bowl and hopping down from the stool and over to the sink.

"Anyways," Sapnap started, "we need to pack our bags quickly if we want to stay at the beach for the majority of the day."

He grabbed a granola bar from the pantry, unwrapping it steadily.

"Towels, sunscreen, water, extra shoes, shirts, possibly sweatshirts."

"And snacks!" Karl added to Sapnaps recommendations.

"And snacks, yes."

Dream patted his own thigh and grinned. "Alright, I'll be right back then."

George watched him from the sink as he went into their room and left it open behind him.

"You guys are such good friends, huh George?" Sapnap teased, patting his shoulder then walking to sit beside Karl at the island table.

George ignored him, shooting them both a hard glare.

"I swear to god, Nick, if you do this all day."

"Well it was your choice to-"

"Alright, Sap, that's enough," Karl interrupted, then squeezed his lips together.

Darryl was the first in the water this time, Sapnap sprinting shortly behind.

"How the hell do they actually enjoy swimming in that cold shit?" George muttered, Karl giggling.

Dream pulled off his shirt, then straightened his shorts which sat tightly around his waist.

Karl collapsed onto his towel on the sand, pulling his sunglasses behind his ears and laying down quietly.

"Do me?" George asked, tossing Dream the sunscreen bottle.

Dream smirked, walking closer to George and spinning him around so he could face his back.

He plastered some across his back, rubbing it in harshly as George squirmed.

"Is it cold?" Dream asked, followed by a light chuckle.

"A little."

"Hurry the hell up!" Sapnap screamed from the water, followed by a "language!" From Bad.

Dream started laughing as he watched Sapnap splash Darryl violently.

He finished sunscreen on George, tossing back the bottle.

"Your turn."

Gently, George scattered sunscreen all over Dreams back, then his shoulders, then the back of his arms.

"You're taking too much pleasure into this, huh?"

George scoffed, "no."

He clicked the bottle shut and threw it to the ground beside Karl.

Dream flashed him a last smile before running towards the water. When George was about to follow, he heard a loud ding come from somewhere on the ground.

Out of curiosity, George picked up Dreams phone and squinted his eyes.

ello! sorry about the short chapter, but there is tons more to come :) not sure how many more chapters there will be but there is more plot to cover and get done, as you know.
