Dream flipped his body to the side again, facing the wall. It was almost six in the morning. He desperately wanted more sleep but it was pretty much impossible at this point.

His glance would be brought to George every once in awhile. This was the first time in days that they slept on opposite beds.

It felt weird, but he would definitely have to try and get used to it. This is how things would be from now on if he wanted any progress.

Dream ran his fingers through his hair, slowly sitting up.

He scratched his neck before quietly flipping the blanket off of himself and making his way to the door.

He creaked it open lightly, to his surprise witnessing Karl sitting on the stool in front of the island table, probably scrolling through Twitter.

"Karl? Why're you up this early?"

Karl looked at him, and smiled.

"Mornin', Clay. I could ask you the same question."

"Just.. a long night. I had to help George get to the bathroom so he could take a piss."

"My bad, man. I shouldn't have asked him to drink that much."

"You were drunk as hell, Karl. You didn't know what you were saying."

"True, true."

Dream slumped in the seat beside Karl, taking one of the multiple cups of orange juice Karl had poured and chugging it down.

"So," Karl began, "Sap and I had an idea. We're gonna go down to the beach in a few minutes and record a video or two to post tiny clips to Twitter. When I go back home, I'll edit the entire thing."

"Sapnap is up too?"

"Yeah, he actually woke up before me. He's taking a shower in a few."

"How do you not want to sleep longer after last night?"

"I guess I'm just an early bird." He shrugged and laughed.

"George certainly isn't."

They both quieted down to listen to the quiet snores coming from George.

Dream chuckled, Karl giggling.

"He's a different breed."

"He most certainly is, Karl."

———

"It's about time your lazy ass gets up! It's almost nine!" Sapnap said as George tiredly walked down the hallway to greet everyone.

"Morning, guys. Clay, hand me some of the Ibuprofen, will you?"

Clay obeyed, opening the tallest cupboard and grabbing the bottle of orange pills for George.

"We get it dude, you're tall," Sapnap joked.

Dream shot him a disgusted look as George started laughing.

"So what're we doing today, boys?" Karl asked, drinking more orange juice.

"I'm good with anything pretty much," Dream replied.

"Well, when Karl and I were driving up here we saw some really nice shops. There was also a nice seafood hut restaurant not far from here. We can walk." Darryl added to the conversation.

"Sounds good," George responded, then swallowing down two pills with water. "Wait, we were gonna go to that restaurant a few days ago but went to some variety restaurant instead."

"Oh, really? What a coincidence." Darryl replied.

"Speaking of which, that's where we met this super hot girl. Her names Annie. Dream has already been on a date with her."

All of their heads turned to Dream as his cheeks flushed pink.

He could see Sapnap snicker out of the corner of his eye. Simply teasing him again.

"A date huh? With a nice lady?" Karl teased.

"Uh.." Dream mumbled, running a hand through his hair.

"She's not really.. my type."

Sapnap quickly turned his head, both Karl and Darryl confused.

"This just got really awkward," George whispered, avoiding eye contact with anyone.

Little did he know.

"Um, anyways. Yeah, we can go to that seafood place. Sounds good if everyone is up for crab. Or shrimp. Or something."

Karl punched Dreams shoulder, a wide grin spread across his face. His smile is truly contagious.

———

Later that day, everyone was showered and ready to go. They started along the long pathway out to the shops where the seafood hut which stood in between a surf shop and a shark shop.

The breeze was cool against Dreams face, a layer of pink still plastered across his cheeks. His hands were in the pockets of his shorts, his white t shirt flowing occasionally against the wind.

Walking behind Dream, was George and Darryl side by side.

George couldn't take his eyes off of Dream, which he would hate to admit.

It had been since a few days ago that his heart would start beating faster when Dream was close. Whether it was a few feet, or a couple inches.

He continuously thought about yesterday.

Dreams hand firmly placed onto George's against the windowsill.

His mind had been wandering back to the moment, even when he tried thinking of something completely different.

At this point, he'd rather think about his family problems at the moment than Dreams comforting touch.

He hated himself for wanting more.
