Karl started wheezing, as Darryl and George covered their mouths in attempt not to burst out laughing. The three of them were huddled on the couch watching some comedy show.

Sapnap was in the kitchen pouring more drinks while Dream sat on the stool in front of the island table.

"Do you think Karl has had too much?" Dream muttered, turning his back to the three giggling on the couch.

"Nah, he's just a lightweight."

"Really?" Dream scoffed, followed by laughter.

His gaze was brought to the window again, the moonlight glaring through the thick glass.

"Can you tell me to stop trying, Sapnap?"

Sapnaps eyes shot up from the bottle he was pouring into Dreams cup.

"What?"

Dreams eyes fell to his own fingers as he tapped them together.

"I just wanted to know what George thinks. But now I think I know."

Sapnaps eyebrow rose.

"What are you talking about man?" He set the bottle down, leaning onto the counter.

"I'm just.. an idiot. Okay? I'm just an idiot. I need to stop trying to figure out everything about him. I don't need to know what he feels but I really, really want to."

He buried his face in his hands.

"I'm sorry, Nick. This is ruining your visit."

"Hey." Sapnap replied firmly, a hand on Dreams arm.

"This.. I mean you aren't ruining anything. I'm having a really good stay and it would be a living hell without you, Clay."

"Guys!" Karl shouted, both Sapnap and Dream spinning to look at the three in the living room.

"Let's go night swimming!"

———

Everyone made their way out to the sandy ground, swim trunks on and sweatshirts over their stomachs until they got to the water.

As soon as they reached the sand from the long pathway that lead up to it, Karl was the first to throw his sweatshirt and shoes off and sprint for the water, diving in to a shallow wave.

Sapnap followed close behind, with Dream, George and Bad slowly taking their shoes off.

George couldn't help but glance at Clay as he lifted his arms and quickly pulled off his sweatshirt like that others had.

He was pretty well toned.

George continued to watch as Clay ran a hand through his own hair and set his towel beside Karl's.

"I'll see you guys in there," he said, then jogging towards the water.

Bad stood for a second, waiting for George.

"Thanks, Darryl. For waiting, I mean."

"No problem. What's on your mind?"

George carefully pulled off his own sweatshirt. "Nothing." He lied.

Bad grinned, nudging George's arm.

George squinted at him, kicking his flip flops off.

"Dont look at me like that, Bad."

"Like what?"

"Like that!" He replied firmly, pointing at Darryls face.

He chuckled. "So, how long?"

"What?"

"How long have you had feelings for Clay?"

George could feel his own heart stop. He dropped his sweatshirt, slowly rising his gaze to face Darryl.

Darryls arms were crossed, a grin plastered across his face.

"What?"

"You heard me."

George continued to move again, shaking his head. "That's.. so stupid."

"I don't share secrets with anyone, George. I'm trustworthy."

"Whatever it is that's going on in your mind, it's wrong. Clay is my best friend."

Darryl squeezed his lips together, glancing at the sand.

"I know shared love when I see it, George."

"If you see anything, it's one sided."

George kept his breath steady. He didn't want to stutter to convince Darryl otherwise.

"C'mon, George. They're waiting for us." Darryl then headed down to the water, slowly stepping in with George right behind him.

After splashing George and Darryl for what seemed like ages, they settled down on the shallow side, knee deep, just sitting there.

Every once in awhile, Sapnap would make a little comment or a joke then slap Karl's neck.

Darryl was very giggly, and would laugh at literally anything anyone said.

Dreams muscles would occasionally tense up whenever George looked at him.

After all five were too cold, they trudged out of the water shivering. They wrapped their towels around themselves, sliding on their shoes and grabbing their sweatshirts.

When they got back inside the beach house, they closed each window to prevent getting even more chilly.

"That was actually fun," Darryl muttered, wrapping his towel around his neck like a scarf.

Everyone was settled in the kitchen.

"Are you surprised?" Karl asked Darryl, pretending to be offended. Sapnap chuckled lightly to himself, sipping his drink slowly.

He then set his drink down, clapping his hands together. "Alright, everyone make a circle in the living room. We're playing truth or dare."

———

"I dare you to say 'fuck' then flex your muscles." Sapnap implied to Darryl.

"There is no way I'm doing that," he responded with a nervous laugh.

Dream carefully tapped his chin as Sapnap continued to urge him to cuss.

"Just leave it, Sap. He's not gonna do it. Just ask him a truth question," Karl said in annoyance.

"Okay, fine. Do you have feelings for Skeppy?"

George slapped a hand over his mouth, forcing his laughter to stay in.

Karl fell on the floor, also covering his mouth as Dream slightly smiled.

"No, I don't," Darryl responded with a scoff.

"Yeah, okay."

They all settled down the laughter when they needed to continue the game.

"Okay, okay. George," Karl started, "I dare you to drink both Dream and Sapnaps cups of alcohol."

Dream eyed George as he fumbled with his own lip.

"Hey," George replied, "you never asked me truth or dare."

"Okay fine, truth or dare?"

"Truth."

"Do you have feelings for someone?"

"No."

"Lies!" Sapnap hollered, pointing at George. "Drink."

He then grabbed his own and Dreams cups and set them in front of George.

"Drink up, Georgie." Karl mumbled quietly with a fit of laughter.

"C'mon, guys. George you don't have t-" Dream started, but was interrupted.

"Shush." Sapnap pressed a finger to Dreams lips

Dream knew he couldn't control this. Both Sapnap and Karl were drunk as hell.

He pulled away his finger and scooted the drinks closed to George.

George's top lip rose as he grabbed the first cup. Everyone changed, "chug, chug, chug!" Besides Dream.

He nearly spit the last bit out, but forced it down with a large gulp. He was quick this time to pick up the other cup and drain it as well.

Almost two hours had passed when Karl and Sapnap were drunk asleep on the couch, and Darryl in his bedrooms bathroom showering.

George was leaning against the kitchen counter, his fingers shaking. He by far had the most to drink in the quickest amount of time.

He lost his balance, attempting to wobble to his room.

"George?" Dream whispered, closing the front door.

"D-Dream? Where were you?" He asked, pressing his hand against his head and cringing. Pain.

"I was getting my headphones out of the car," Dream responded, walking over to George.

"You need to sleep."

George could barely open his eyes, turning back around with Dream behind him. They went into their bedroom, cracking the door behind them.

George flopped down on his bed, which was the bed nearest to the window. Dream was almost positive he was already passed out, until a hand reached for his arm as he passed.

"George," he scolded. "Let go."

"No," he replied pulling him closer. His arms flew around Dreams neck as he pulled him in for a hug, with a heavy sigh.

Dream glared, trying to get out of it but George just pulled him further towards him.

"You need to sleep," Dream said.

"I want to stay like this."

"No," Dream mumbled into his shoulder. If George was sober in this moment, Dream would have been fine with staying in this position. Unfortunately, he happened to be drunk.

"Clay," George mumbled.

"Yes?" Dream whispered back.

"I need to piss."
