Caught red handed? I can tell you a brilliant idea.

Just run away without turning back..

"Oh shit! Why Will is here?" groaned Jake. Jake was strangled with various kinds of misconceptions at home. He didn't want to publish another chapter in his book of mischievousness.

"To return something?" said Amy, meddling the platinum ring on her left hand thumb finger.

"Whatever. Just don't tell him that I'm here" said Jake, shooting upstairs in a second. Amy considered Jake to be the intimidating twin, whereas he was scared of the other.

Amelia recalled her last meeting with Will. Leo saved him from some deadly gangsters and safely brought him home. They both were badly hurt after the fight, so Leo left immediately and Amelia came into the scene. She acted the villain and chased away Will, giving her Maserati Gran Turismo.

"Wow, I've been abundantly generous for the past few days."

The doorbell echoed from the front foyer. Amy's hands reached to open the door, but hesitated for a moment. During their last meeting, Will became suspicious about the sudden transformation of Amelia's character. If she continued acting as herself, Will would confirm that something was wrong with her. People nowadays are highly aware about DID after watching movies and t.v shows. She must be meticulous about her behavior, not making her illness obvious.

A hearty grin played its way from the corner of Amy's lips, as a brilliant idea showed up in her void brain.

Amy made sure that her long locks of brunette hair were packed tightly with the hairpins. Gently she crowned Leo's fedora on her head, hiding her long hair. Sliding a finger under the hat, she pulled a short strand of hair above her eyebrow. Leo style.

She glanced at the mirror leaned against the wall in Leo's room. The room was painted in bright yellow- Leo's favorite color. His room was neat and tidy, with his things at their appropriate places. Leo wouldn't stand clumsiness and indiscipline. In short, he was the Adolf Hitler of the house.

Amy was not satisfied with her look. Something was disconcerting. She gave a try in replacing her frown with a thirty-two-teeth showing smile, which was Leo's trademark.

Ta da.. She nailed the look. Leo would probably kill Amelia for copying his style.

Swiftly Amy paced down the stairs. The intercom in the living room blared of Will's gentle voice "Leo, are you in there?"

"Leo? What the?" Amy was infuriated to the stage where she would love to strangle Will's neck. She unlocked the door, before Will could call her once again in that ridiculous name.

Basic rule to find your name in the good books of Amelia Hamilton and her alters: You must never confuse their names.

"Hi Will" Amy greeted, giving a fake grin. Will's eyes widened at her warm greeting, confused whether it was the same girl he met previously.

"Are you not mad at me?" His surprised tone sounded more like a squeak. He was probably expecting Amy to throw a fit at him for returning the car late.

Even if he had had the car with himself, Amy wouldn't have been bothered but she was the one who threatened him to return it soon. She blasted her ludicrousness.

"Please come inside" she beckoned Will inside. He walked through the lounge with a uncomfortable cringe in his shoulders. Amy slouched on the pearl colored recliner in the living room crossing her legs. Will sat on the opposite side, relaxed of wincing.

Amy ruffled her wit to come up with an untruthful yet reasonable explanation to convince Will.

"Actually.." both of them started together and stopped

Amy gave way , "You tell first"

Will refused, "No you tell" He needed more time to muster up courage to have a smooth conversation with the frail tempered person before him. Amy grabbed the chance.

"Actually I have this childish habit of throwing fit at others while undergoing pain. I don't know what happens at that time. I apologize for my rude behavior that day. It was because of my hurt shoulder." It was the millionth time Amy was babbling a senseless story in the same position. Will's place was taken by numerous people before, who nodded their heads taking in all her nonsense. If she had an account of those stories, she would've been a award winning writer so long.

"I understand. I've seen my daughter act like that, so you needn't feel sorry about it" Will took in Amy's truthful lie, having no contradictory appeal. "Don't you drive your car at all? You seemed to be engrossed in bicycling rather than driving"

"Maybe, I don't wanna pollute the environment? I've always opted for go green policy" Amy shrugged while delivering another blatant lie at Will's table.

Will chuckled, "It's good to think like that, but don't leave your car resting in the garage. The battery was a mess, not having used for a long time. I had to drop by service station. You know, how long would be the bill of Maserati services."

"I know. I'll settle the amount in your account" Amy was bemused by Will's naivety. He made it comfortably easy for her, by bringing in monetary benefits.

"No. I didn't exaggerate the cost to get reimbursement. I just wanted you to save your money" advised Will.

So this guy was the saving for the future type, whereas his twin upstairs was enjoying the present type. Amy didn't know there would be so much variations between identical twins.

"Thank you, I'll get going then" Will excused himself.

Amy must've let him go, but her mouth slipped words recklessly, "Do you mind joining me for breakfast?"

"What?" blurted Will, looking stunned. It took a minute for him to regain his senses "Ah..no..no thanks, I'll just head back home."

An intuition insisted Amy to make him stay.

"Is your daughter in time for school? Tell her I'm sorry if you made it late for her to pick up the car." Amy smirked.

"Did you set a spy on my trail?" asked Will, looking around the mansion.

"I don't have the need of using spies. It is not an arduous job for a psychiatrist to read people's mind " Amy had to remind herself from time to time that she was also a doctor. Note the word 'was'. She had more experience of being a patient than a doctor.

"Really? That's great. I have many psychiatrists in my family circle" exclaimed Will.

"Well, we have something in common. Shall we have breakfast? I'm very hungry." This was the only truth of the day. Amy's stomach kept grumbling for a long time. Will nodded in agreement.

Amy grabbed a fry pan from one of the closets in the kitchen. She lit the stove and placed the pan on it, without any idea what to cook. Since the September climate was cold and damp with rain, she felt something hot and spicy would do good.

"Do you need any help?" offered Will

"No thanks, just make yourself at home"

"I'm the one who cooks at home" chuckled Will. They both laughed at his comment. It felt so good for Amy to laugh genuinely after a long time.

"Is your wife not a good cook?" Amy felt bad about asking that question, as the air around them suddenly became tense.

"She is dead" said Will, pressing his lips into a thin line.

"I'm sorry"

"It's okay"

In their conversation, Amy forgot the pan on the stove. The pan was searing with heat, and yet she hadn't arrived at the idea what to cook. She opened the fridge to search for ingredients and discovered sufficient eggs and bacon for a exceptionally decent meal. She opened the vegetable tray, and found plenty of asparagus. Amy didn't know which alter of hers did the grocery shopping, so she muttered a silent 'thank you' under her breath.

She snagged the ingredients to the table, rinsed the asparagus in the sink and placed it in a bowl. The pan was already hot, so she cracked the egg and poured over its steaming surface. Amy had an itching sensation on her face, while sprinkling some pepper on the egg for spice. It kept irritating for a long time, so accidentally she scratched her face and rubbed her eye.

It was the worst disaster that could happen while cooking.

Amy's eyes kept burning and tears flowed continually. She kept jumping in the same place like a small kid. In a blind instinct, she took her hand that was smeared with pepper to rub her burning eye again. Thankfully, a pair of stiff hands caught her wrists before she could lose her sight.

"You'll make it worse" said Will, holding Amy's wrists. Calmly he held her shoulders and guided her to the sink. A sense of relief spread all over Amy's body, as Will shoved cold water into her eyes.

Eventually, it was Will who was cooking, and Amy sat on the table, holding a wet cloth to her eye to soothe the burning sensation.

The dining table was a rectangular one, with twelve seats. Amy sat at one end of the table. Will served a plate to Amy, and took his plate to the opposite corner. Will's presentation was appreciable. There was bacon in the bottom, asparagus over the bacon, and the fried egg spread over the asparagus. It reminded Amy of her mom's cooking which clutched her throat with nostalgia.

Both of them ate in sheer silence. Will and Amy sat in the extreme corners of the table, so there was a long gap between them. The scene reminded Amy of the dinners in the movie Beauty and the Beast, where Belle and the beast sat in extreme corners. But here, Will was the beauty and Amy was the BEAST.

After scratching the plate empty, Amy dropped it in the sink and washed her hands. She picked a bottle of water from the fridge. Will walked towards the kitchen and dropped his plate in the sink. Washing his hands, he started doing the dishes.

"Just drop it. That is too much for a guest to do" Amy ordered, and slurped the water in the bottle.

Will snickered and returned the plates to their old position. He leaned over the sink and glared at her. Feeling awkward Amy sauntered beyond.

"I never thought you would be such a nice person. Don't get me wrong, but looking at the way you behaved that day, I thought you were suffering from BPD or something like that" said Will.

Amy chocked, spitting all the water in her mouth.

"Are you alright? Sorry its my mistake" apologized Will.

'He thought I was having Borderline Personality Disorder. It's somewhat close to Multiple Personality Disorder!' Amy's thoughts voiced.

Never in the hell Amy thought someone would get this close, after all the precautions she took. To prevent such instances in the near future, she have to make some strict precautions,

STARTING. FROM. THEN AND THERE.

"Will do you know where your brother is?" Amy asked, twisting the ring on her thumb. She started spreading a trap to lure. This time she wasn't expecting a rabbit or a deer to fall in. She was aiming for the ferocious lion, so that she could tie a harness to have it under her control.

"I have no idea. How do you know I have a brother?" asked Will, astonished.

"I saw him a few minutes before"

"Where?"

"Upstairs" said Amy pointing above.

"No chance" said Will, taking a mobile from his pocket to call Jake.

The distinct sound of a mobile ringing, came from the east wing. Automatically, a snigger formed on Amy's face showing an expression to Will, like 'I told ya'.

Will's expression hardened.

It became silent after two rings. Jake attended the call. Will pressed the mobile against his ear.

"Hey man I'm busy could you.."

"Just come down. I know where you are" snapped Will and cut the call.

Amy and Will waited in the living room. Jake descended the stairs, shooting daggers at Amy. Amy just rolled my eyes. He stood before Will, like a petulant teenager standing obediently before his father.

"Explain yourself" said Will, showing the father attitude.

"Actually..I..I was.." stammered Jake. Amy stared at both in amusement. No one would believe that William and Jake were twins. Jake looked helpless, so Amy gave him a hand.

"I was offering Jake a job" she said. Jake didn't expect such an outcome from her part. He mouthed the words 'What the hell?' Will just stared at her, petrified.

"Jake said he would abandon street racing and be my personal secretary for a short period, say a year" Amy knew she was doing it perfectly, so she continued without stopping. "You know, managing the activities of twelve hospitals as a single person freaks me out, so I wouldn't mind a little help" Amy was finally fed up with the overdose of lies in a single day.

"Did you agree to this?" asked Will to Jake, not believing a word from Amy's utterances. Amy was surprised as Jake nodded. Everything went fine until Jake said something stupid.

"Actually a change of career would make me feel better after being busted" said Jake. Will's eyes widened. Jake bit his tongue.

"I thought you said it to him" cursed Jake under his breath so that Amy would alone hear.

"Why would I do that? You got yourself into trouble" Amy grunted.

"What the hell is going on?" yelled Will, which got both of their attention.

"It was a misunderstanding on my part Will. I made sure that there was no criminal records on him. As a compensation, I'm offering this job" Amy said vapidly

Will's stern expression faltered. He paced towards Jake, giving him a long comforting hug that Amy had seen people sharing in the community centres for the mentally disordered. She never liked those places. People were fake saying, 'everything will be alright' whilst half of the population were dead by a year. She had no patronage for being comforted by physical contact, for her it was gross.

"We promised our parents that we would be there for each other. Sorry for not being with you, while you were suffering Jake" mourned Will

"And sorry for hiding that from you, Will" said Jake, sticking out his tongue behind Will's back.

Amy was annoyed by the soap opera sibling bonding moment so she faked a cough that broke them apart.

"I have certain rules that you must follow while working here. Rule number one: You are staying here twenty four bar seven"said Amy

That was the only way to have her secret remain concealed

"Here. You mean with you?" exclaimed Will.

"He'll be staying in a different block, so it doesn't mean that we are living together. Rule number two: You will not flaunt yourself, wearing flirtatious clothes"

"What do you mean by flirtatious clothes?" said Jake, showing a funky expression at the words 'flirtatious clothes'.

Amy replied with a rejoinder. "Good question. Flirtatious clothes on my perspective includes shorts, ripped jeans, deep neck shirts that might expose your chest, and not wearing any clothes also go under that category" Will chuckled at her statement, whereas Jake blushed with embarrassment.

"Jake are you sure you'll be fine working here?" asked Will, snarkily.

"Shut up Will" cursed Jake, and turned back to Amy. "What is the third rule?"

"You are staring to work right from tomorrow, and you'll leave whenever I tell you to" Amy ordered. She liked to see the lion strapping itself to the harness made by her.

"Ouch. Sounds like he's gonna work for the FBI" mocked Will

"And Will. Don't ever call me Leo. I have a name, and that's Amelia"
