Will despised Jake's hobby of street racing. He would've encouraged Jake with whole heart , if Jake had continued his expertise in racing off-road and bringing trophies home. Jake had such a high order potentiality in racing, but he wasted it in the streets. When Jake began his career as a street racer, Will pestered him to join back in tournaments. Jake sighed at the horrible idea and delivered his well-prepared dialogue

"What's there in winning tournaments? You receive shining trophies and get to appear handsome before cameras. It's all just vanity that disappears within a blink of an eye. The real game is in the streets"

Jake's game was a monopoly. Monopoly in the sense not the board game you play with coins and fake money, it was the game between life and death. If one wishes to take a move forward there was no way in hell for him to look back. It was a game played by adrenaline and wits, which ran through each and every nerve of Jake. People feared him, admired him, envied him or even attacked him. Very few of them knew the mighty Jake Turner also had a family like normal people to care and protect.

Will wanted make a run for his life, but he couldn't make it. His gut was searing in pain. His heart thumped against his ribs pleading for a way to abscond. Four men stood around him. Escapism seemed impossible.

The guy who hit Will, tapped the rod against the ground making out a tune. He had spiky hair, crooked nose, and wore ragged clothes and long chains. He looked young, but the creases on his forehead, increased his age by ten years.

He bent lower to face Will. "Honestly I didn't want to give up my bike for a low life like you, Turner. For me it's priceless, but for you, relinquishing it would be worth your life. Decide for yourself"

Will wanted to plead the cold-blooded hooligan who was ready to take his life for granted. He had important duties in life before he could die. He shouldn't leave his daughter to suffer alone. He needed to live for Jeanne.

"Please..pl" Words failed him. As the words made its way out of his mouth, agony shot from the bottom of his stomach. Squeezing his stomach, he croaked out something unrecognizable in the English grammar.

"Jay..ma brodher" Eventually the dimwitted people around him figured out.

"Brother? Theo, have we caught the wrong man?" said the guy, turning towards his comrade who resembled him.

"I've heard Jake has a twin. Rob, I think it must be him" said Theo

"Really? That's wonderful! Let's see whether our Jake trades my bike for his brother's life" smirked Rob

He raised the rod, to knock out Will in a blow. His face was filled with anticipation to perfect the assault. Will shut his eyes tight and recalled all the good memories of his life. His heartbeat was so loud that even Rob would've heard it. He waited for his bones to be broken, but nothing happened for awhile.

Why does it takes so long?

He opened his eyes and found Rob's eyes fixed at something behind him. Will turned around, and was astonished to see the girl from the memorial.

The girl looked completely different. Her grim expression from before, was changed to a thirty-two-teeth showing smile. She had light brown eyes and a pointed nose, which hid below the rim of the black fedora hat she wore. Will noticed her long hair was missing, as it was packed under the hat. Will negotiated with her through eye contact.

This is not a child's play. Run away till you're out of their sight. I don't want you to be hurt more.

"Hey kids. Aren't you ashamed to take down a man who has lost his ground?" yelled the young Hamilton. She looked down as a protesting feminist would do and winked at Will.

"Are you going to fight for him?" Theo voiced

Her expression hardened like a rock. She offered a hand to Will and helped him stand up. She folded the sleeves of her blouse, removed her watch and handed it to Will. As she took two steps forward, all the four took two steps backward. Will was anxiously expecting her to fight. But her plan was different.

"Are they scared?" she whispered, turning towards Will

"Think so" said Will

"Then its the right chance. Come on".

At first, Will didn't understand what she meant. He perceived her plan only when she sprinted in the opposite direction of the thugs. Her actual plan was to flee.

Will limped behind her. He wasn't able to catch up with her speed. Each and every step he took degraded his health. He considered it as a luck, when he noticed that the chasers didn't have a vehicle with them. They chased him by foot. Will pushed down many things on his way, to slow them down. Reaching the edge of the street, he found Hamilton mounting her bicycle.

"Come on. Let's leave" she beckoned

"You want me to sit behind?" asked Will.

She started moving."If you want to die, don't"

"Wait. Take me along." Will mounted the back seat of the cycle after a great deal of struggles.

She couldn't pedal fast with Will behind, but the thugs were slower that them. The seat was very near to the ground so Will had to crouch his body to prevent his feet touching the road. Traveling by cycle didn't help his ache. He kept wincing in pain.

"Hey old man, could you please stop shaking? I can't drive" she glunched

"Sorry, I'll try" replied Will

As they drove along the Shore Boulevard, Will realized that they were getting closer to his home. People in the neighborhood spent their leisure time, without noticing two souls being chased to death.

"How did you get into trouble with those guys? You don't look like one, who would mess around them" she screamed amidst the roar of the wind.

"It was my brother. They mistook me for him." screamed Will in the same volume.

"Are you both twin.." In the strong gust, Hamilton's hat flew behind.

The hat looked expensive. Such a pity.

"Hell" she cursed, applying a sudden brake. Will's abdomen churned with different kinds of emotions. They both were in the verge of getting caught.

"Are you crazy? You're going to get us both killed just for a hat!" Will was getting desperate at the thought of not dying. He wanted to slap the girl to bring her back to sanity. He held back his urge since it was a girl.

"It is not just a hat. It is king of pop, Michael Jackson's Billie jean fedora! You shouldn't insult it like that. I got it for fifty k bucks!" she boasted.

Will gasped.

Should I be awestruck by her filthy riches, or contempt her for showing off? I'll have this query for later.

Rob slowed down on seeing her dismounting the bicycle. Following him, the other three stopped running and surrounded the frail-looking girl . Her situation was woeful like that of a rabbit caught in a booby trap. Will took a step forward, very soon retreated as black spots danced jubliantly before his eyes. He was as useful as a foam sword in a battle, so he stood back muttering curses over his weakness.

The girl was spontaneous. Before they could take a step closer, she kicked one of the guys in the crotch, snatched the iron rod from him and knocked another guy in the head. While she battled furiously with Rob by chocking his neck, Theo smacked her shoulder with a rod.

BANG

Her pain traveled through the air poignantly towards Will, who felt a sharp pain surging through his shoulder while he watched her getting beaten. Theo flung the rod at her head. That time, she guessed the move. She squat down and pulled Rob's legs. The rod collided with Rob's head. Theo stood frozen. That gave her time to grab a rod from the ground and break Theo's leg.

All the four were undergoing unbearable pain. Will was amazed with Hamilton's fighting skills. He had once seen Jake fight like that (not using deadly weapons), but their fighting style somehow resembled.

"Be a man, don't be a pussy" she advised, punching Will's shoulder. Without having a moment to rest or take a breath, she climbed the bike with difficulty and gestured Will to sit.

"Err...Sorry. I'll try to act brave next time" said Will awkwardly. A smile tugged the corner of her lips.

"Next time?" She smiled, "I don't think I would meet you another time"

Will waved his hand. "Ah..I was just telling. Don't take it serious"

It is going to be serious.

The girl pedaled the rest of the way holding her ill shoulder. Will felt sorry for her, but he was also not in a condition to drive.

Will had driven across the Hamilton's mansion as he stayed in the neighborhood, but never had he once took a glimpse beyond the gate. The Hamiltons were people who lived in round the clock armed vigilante. Insecurity outside the gate, Will was astounded by the enormousness of the household. The magnificent sandal colored mansion stood in the middle, surrounded by grass beds, bird baths, garden gnomes, and different colored rose plants. Will noticed that the roses which the girl brought to the graveyard was from the mansion's garden.

I'm definitely awestruck

Hamilton didn't bother to park the cycle. She dropped it in the garden, walked towards the front porch and sat on a chair, massaging her shoulder. Will felt a feeling of guilt lurking inside him on seeing her hurt shoulder.

"Aren't you going inside?" said Will, looking worried.

"Do you want to see how the mansion looks inside?" she shot back. Her statement was half true, as Will was eager to look around the mansion, but he genuinely asked out of concern."Even if you want to see, it is not a problem, but I forgot the password. I myself can enter only when my sister arrives."

"You have a sister?"said Will, trying to express in a tone of concern, but it came out like, I thought your family was dead, but how come you have a sister? Will cursed himself.

"You don't have to watch each and every word while you talk. You can be informal around me but not my sister, she'll be your dreadful nightmare." she consoled, "Yeah, I have a sister who stays here occasionally."

"Then, do you stay alone? Isn't it scary?" said Will, looking around the ginormous mansion. The girl chuckled.

"True. It looks like a haunted house at night. If you want, you can accompany me when I come back next time. There are lot of unused rooms." she said, adjusting the black fedora on her head.

"Are you going somewhere?"

"Just for a short period"

"I don't think, it's right to ask" started Will

"There you go. Using formal speech again" she sighed

"May I know your first name?" blurted Will. The girl's face was petrified. Will was scared on seeing her expression,"If you don't want to tell, it's fine. I won't ask you"

"Sorry, my reaction turned out to be embarrassing. You're the first person to voluntarily ask for my name. So I was just thinking how to introduce myself"

"Oh, I understand" said Will, though he had thousands of questions running through his mind.

"I'm Leo " she introduced.
