Your POV

As my eyes flutter open, I hear the sounds of birds and ocean waves, though the birds don't sound cheerful, but scared. And as I become awar that I'm no longer in my comfortable, safe bed, my eyes shoot open. After jolting up, I examine my surroundings. With an ocean and beach behind me, and a giant, dark forest before me, I know I'm nowhere near home.

"Are you lost? You look lost to me." I spin around and my gaze meets the emerald green eyes of a boy, probably not to much older than me. He wears strange clothes, a dark green tunic, grey pants, knee high lace up boots, a thick leather belt around his waist, and a dagger attached to his hips, but the thing that stands out the most, is his devilish grin. He looks so scary and manipulative.

"Who are y-you?"

"Wouldn't you like to know." He tilts his head to the side and makes a sarcastic puppy dog face at me. What is with him?

"Umm. Yeah. That's why I asked." He takes a few steps closers to me in long strides, my fear and curiosity both growing.

"You'll find out soon enough, Y/n." My eyes grow wide and I stumble backwards. How did he know my name?! Before I have a chance to run, he hurls me into the sand that was under my feet a few seconds ago. My head hits a rock on the way down, making me grunt and hiss in pain. My vision starts to blur, but just before I black out, I can feel the boy tying my wrists together and then him slinging me over his shoulder, chuckling at his victory.

As I wake up, my vision slowly clears and I find myself sitting in the dirt floor of a tent. Just when I'm about to stand and make a run for it, it suddenly occurs to me that my hands are tied to a support beam above my head and there is a cloth over my mouth that is preventing me from screaming. I tug and tug at the ropes, but it only cuts me, leaving little red droplets staining my clean skin. Suddenly the same boy from earlier comes in the tent. I scoot back as far as possible, but my back is already tightly pressed against the beam, it's really no use.

"It seems sleeping beauty has finally awoken." If looks could kill people, this boy would be so so so dead. I glare at him through my eyelashes, hoping he'll leave me alone or let me go, but it only makes him more interested in me. He kneels down to my level, though he still looks so tall and intimidating.

"Now then, I'm assuming you want some answers." I simply roll my eyes at him. Like duh I want answers! My actions make him chuckle.

"Your a sassy one. Gotta say, I find a fiery women attractive." He tucks a strand of stray hair behind my ear and caresses my cheek with the back of his hand, but I quickly turn my head away from him.

"Now listen, y/n. The boys are a bit bored lately, so your here to...help with the boredom issue." He stands up and walks over to a cabinet in the tent. I can hear him fiddling with what sounds like glass bottles, but I still keep my head turned away from him. Once he's found what he's looking for, he squats in front of me again.

"Look at me." His voice is so stern and angry, but still, I don't move my head.

"Baby girl, please." He softens his voice, sending shivers down my back. He has a way with words, I'll give him that. So, I slowly turn my head back to him, his eyes sparkling with mischief.

"Much better. As I was saying, you and the boys are going to play a game." He holds up the bottle and waves it in the airs

"Now, you drink this and it'll turn you invisible until your enemies eyes land on you. Understood?" I nod my head, his stern, leader-like tone returning in the way he speaks and moves. He tiredly rubs a hand across he forehead before hooking his fingers under the cloth over my mouth, but not so that I can talk.

"I'm going to take this off and I would appreciate it if you stay quiet. You've been such a good girl so far." I mentally roll my eyes at his choice of words. Literally, he's talking to me like I'm a dog.

"Can you do that for me, Angel?" With another nod of my head, he pulls down the cloth and let's it hang loosely over my neck. He stands up and a cuts the ropes off my wrists, chuckling at the redness of them from my attempted escape. He offers me a hand, but I refuse it and stand on my own.

"Stubbornness will get you nowhere, Y/n." I let out a loud huff and raise my eyebrows, telling him to tell me more about this 'game' he wants me to play.

"Here." He holds out the bottle, but I shove his hand back down.

"What if I don't want to play your stupid game?" He takes a few steps closer to me and I take a few back until my back hits the beam.

"Well, then we'll just spare the time and kill you now, but if you'd like to play, at least you have a chance of survival. So tell me, sweetheart, what'll it be?" He holds the bottle out again, and reluctantly, I take it. As I pop the top off, the boy stares into my eyes, most likely burning  a hole into my soul. I lift it to my lips, but stop.

"One question." He rolls his eyes, yet let's me continue.

"What's your name?"

"Oh did I forget to introduce myself? I'm Peter, Peter Pan." At that, I drink the liquid in the bottle and instantly take note of the bitter taste. I look down at my hands, which slowly fade out of my vision.

"Now, run." At Pans words, I dart out of the tent and into the forest.

I hear Pan yell something to his 'lost boys', but I can't exactly make out what he said, though I'm sure it's not in my favor.

I run through the woods for a little while, afraid of being spotted, but it suddenly occurred to me, I'm invisible. Wow, way to go self! I climb a tree that looks over the forest, trying to calm my rapid breathing and still stay out of sight. Just when I'm about to jump down and make a run for it, I hear the boys below me.

"Where did she go?"

"Her tracks lead here and then they stop at this tree."

"Well climb up, moron. Check and see if she's up there!" No. No. No. No. No. No... Please don't come up here! The boy slowly starts to climb the tree, inching closer to me.

Dang it!

The lost boys are making a lot of noise, so I silently climb around to the opposite side of the tree, but, to my absolute horror, a twig snaps under my foot. I instantly freeze, but the boys have all fallen dead quiet. They definitely heard it.

"There she is!" As I look down at my hands, I can see them. Crud crud crud crud!!! I'm now completely defendless and visible. All the boys start to climb the tree or pull out their weapons, but I jump down from the tree and dash for the forest. Unfortunately, I'm not fast enough. A blonde boy, with an odd scar across his face lunges at me and knocks me over, towering over me before yanking me back up. The other boys start to close in on us, smirking and snickering, but I'm not going down without a fight. Quickly, I elbow the blonde boy in the jaw, sending him flying backwards. I take this opportunity to run, but again, I'm stopped by the boys. Two of them grab me by the arms and hold them behind my back as the blonde boy pulls himself off the forest floor, leaves dangling out of his hair.

"Well now, we can't have some little girl thinking she has the power to hurt one of us, can we Felix?" The blonde boy in front of me smirks creepily, pulling a dagger out of his belt.

"Of course we can't." Felix snarls. He comes closer to me and smacks me across the face, causing a small sob to escape my mouth. I start to kick and scream, but one of the boys slaps a hand over my mouth. After a failed attempt to bite the little rascals hand off, I slowly start to wear out.

"Awe. I like your fire, honey. To bad it got you in trouble. Hold still, this is gonna hurt." Felix aims his dagger in between my fourth and fifth rib, the closest way to someone heart, and pushes his arm forward. The cold steel barely touches the fabric of my shirt before Felix yanks his arm back at the sound of someone's voice.

"Wait, Felix." I open my eyes, which were clamped shut with fear, only to find Peter Pan, leaning against a tree. Just watching.

"Yes Pan?" Pan signs for the two boys holding me to let me go, and I instantly fall to the ground because of my shaking legs. I watch as Felix eyes me with hatred, the lost boys watch intently, and Pan circles Felix and I, thinking about what to do.

"Leave us boys." All the boys furrow their brows, questioning their leaders actions.

"We're going to play another round with this one." He gestures to me and the boys, including Felix, dart off into the forest, leaving Pan and I alone. He kneels in front of me and sighs at my helplessness.

"Come here." He pulls me up, his hands under my shoulders, but I can barely stand on my own. I'm just so afraid. He said 'another round', why must he delay my painful death?

"Why are you d-doing this to me?" He flashed me a look of sadness mixed with confusion, but quickly wipes it off as he pulls me by my arm back to camp. Still, I can hardly walk, the fear and trauma I previously experienced stuck in my head. Pan sighs and slows down his pace.

"Still shaking?"

"What do you think?" He chuckles to himself before lifting me off my feet and carrying me bridal style into his camp. Though I'm not going by choice, I'm actually thankful he stopped those boys when he did. This time, if I'm smart, I'll be able to make it to the beach.

Pan carries me into his tent and sets me down, but with a wave of his hand, my wrists are tied above my head again. He leaves the tent with a confused look on his face, he's been acting strange. I struggle to slide my hands out of the ropes, but then it hit me. He tied me to a tent, clever. So, if I put enough pressure and weight on the ropes then maybe-

I jumped off my feet, hitting the ground with my butt.

"Ouch." I half whisper, half yell. Wait a second. I managed to pull the ropes over the beam, no leaving me free to walk about. I run to Pans cabinet and pull out a knife to cut my bounds with. Then, I take another one of his invisibility bottle thingys and pop the top off.

"I hope this works." Quickly, I swallow this disgusting, butter liquid and look down at my hands, which are slowly fading from my vision. After taking a sigh of relief, I dart out of Pans tent, attempting to make it out of the camp, but suddenly, Pan appears directly in front of me.

Can he see me? I look at my hand and it's still hidden from my sight, maybe he can't see me.

"You can't hide from me." He practically snarls. I feel the affects wearing off, I know he can see me now. Pan quickly pushes me against a tree and traps me inside his arms.

"No matter how hard you try, I will always find you." He says this softer and sweeter than before, his emerald green eyes filled with hope and compassion. His glowing orbs flicker from my eyes to my lips and back and forth. I find myself slowly leaning in, and then, our lips touch. It feels like fireworks and sparks are shooting through my stomach, making my mind spin. He lowers his arms from the sides of my face and places one hand on my waist and the other gently reaches up to my cheek as he caresses it in his hand. When he pulled away, he smiled. It made me smile and now we just look like two lovestruck idiots, but honestly, I like it.

"You see right through me." He plants a gentle kiss on my forehead and pulls me into his arms.

"Always and forever."
