(Y/N) had been ignoring Aomine's texts and calls. Was she angry? Maybe. (Yes). Was she doing this purposely? Maybe. (Yes).

He may or may not have yelled at her over the phone when he found out she was part of the reason Momoi told his coach to bench him due to his injury.

So, being a petty person, she decided to ignore him for a full month before replying so he could reflect over his actions.

About two weeks later...

...Aomine still did not apologize.

He was too prideful, just like me. Neither of us would apologize to each other until we felt guilty enough to do so.

Beside the point, the boys and I were now going to leave to go back to the training camp.

"Oh man! Setting off in the middle of the night is pretty exciting!" Hinata exclaimed, full of energy.

Tanaka crossed his arms. "Oh right, you guys were late last time."

"Being an idiot must be nice," Tsukishima muttered. "You can fall asleep anywhere."

"What did you say?!" the two shouted at him.

"Now now, it's too late- er early to be yelling so loudly," I yawned out, rubbing my eyes. "Can you guys be a little more quiet since some of us are tired?"

"Sorry (Y/N)!"

"Anyway, we plan on getting there around dawn again," Takeda explained to us. "Ukai and I will take turns driving."

Ukai yawned. "Sorry if I nod off."

"We're counting on you sir!" Daichi replied and bowed, the others following his action.

I flinched, almost dropping my bags full of... something secret.

"Ah! It's the middle of the night, so not so loud," Takeda scolded, waving his hands around in front of him.

Daichi scratched his head. "Oh sorry. It's a habit."

"Do you guys have everything? Make sure to double check," I said as I began to get on the bus. "Remember, if you forget anything we can't go back to get it, so make sure."

When we got to the school, we were met by the Nekoma boys, much to my delight.

I missed those guys. They were an amazing bunch and cool to hang around with.

Yaku did return my hug, but complained how I grew. He did compliment me on my new look though. How nice of him, it made me blush.

"Hey, hey! Where's the Skytree?!" Hinata asked Kenma, making the poor boy sweat.

"Huh? The Skytree?" Kenma mumbled.

Hinata pointed at a random tower. "Oh! Is that Tokyo Tower?"

"Huh?" Kenma blankly pointed at the tower. "That's just a normal transmission tower," he answered with a lack of energy.

Kuroo looked at the third years. "What the hell? Are there no transmission towers in Miyagi? Actually I'm getting deja vu over here."

"I know right," I piped up, adjusting the bags on my shoulders. "Well, those guys are just idiots."

"Do you need help with your bags (Y/N)?" he asked, looking over at me. "They look heavy. What's in them?"

"A secret." I smirked evilly. I couldn't wait to use them. I had to get permission after all. "Nah, I can carry them." 'It's like an extra workout for me.'

"To those out in the countryside, all steel towers in Tokyo look like the Tokyo Tower!" Daichi retorted.

"That's a bit insulting." Suga sighed. "Also, we're in Saitama."

Kageyama sleepy looked at the transmission tower. 'So that's not Tokyo Tower?' He looked so disappointed and I let out a snicker, guessing what he was thinking.

"We're playing at a different school than last time, huh?" Hinata blurted out.

"Apparently, all the summer training camps are held at Shinzen," Kemna responded, looking at the building and Lev running down the stairs. "It's nice and cool here." He then slapped his arm. "There are tons of bugs though."

"Hinata! (Y/N)!" Lev yelled, running towards them. "Did you get any taller?!"

"Shut up, Lev."

Hinata was slightly pissed. "That's how you greet me? Also, no one grows in just two weeks!"

"Yo Lev," I greeted, walking up to him.

"Hi (Y/N)! But Hinata, look at her. (Y/N) grew taller in two weeks!" He exclaimed, making Hinata depressed. He then grinned, leaning forward. "I grew two millimeters."

Hinata was shocked.

I sighed, walking past the two with a skip in my step as I carried my bags up the stairs towards the school. 'Better put my bags away. I can't wait to see the other girls, I haven't seen them in so long~'

"Alright. We're gonna switch out people constantly this time around, so be prepared," Ukai said, hands on his hips.

"Yes sir!"

"We'll be up against Fukurodani," (Y/N) hummed, a notebook in hand. "Well, this should be interesting to say the least."

The whistle blew.

"Our goal is zero penalties!" Bokuto declared, arms crossed. "Let's go!"

Fukurodani got to serve first and the ball went to Noya.

"Noya!" Tanaka shouted.

"Yeah!" "Nice receive."

Kageyama ran under the ball. 'A chance for a fast attack!'

Hinata began to run up.

"That weird fast attack is incoming!" Bokuto exclaimed, knees bending.

(Y/N) noticed Kageyama's face as the ball began to approach him. "Oh dear..." she sighed. "It's not going to make it, it's too early to use after all."

"Leave it there, leave it there, leave it there!" he mumbled under his breath and set it to Hinata who was already in the air, eyes open.

However, Hinata's feet already hit the ground, Bokuto following behind him. The two landed and the ball slowly fell down, short of the ginger.

Lightning seemed to strike the setter. 'It was too short!'

Bokuto and the others blankly stared at them, their eyes were little white circle dots.

"What the heck? That wasn't like you at all." Tanaka laughed and Kageyama blushed, shoulders shaking.

"I'm sorry." He turned away, still blushing with his teeth grinding. 'Damn it! It feels different when I'm in an actual match.'

Hinata stared at him, eyes wide and mouth agape.

Bokuto put his hand in the air. "All right, give us another good serve!"

"I'm sure you've realized it. Kageyama's set is completely different now," Ukai whispered softly.

"Mhm, now it's up to how Hinata and Kageyama can adjust to each other," (Y/N) responded quietly. "It might take all of the camp to get used to."

The ball was served over the net again towards Noya and he bumped it up towards Kageyama. The setter didn't move as his fingers touched the ball, quickly setting it to Hinata who missed the set from being a little too high.

"Tch!" 'This time, it went too far.'

However, as Hinata was falling, he hit the ball back up with his left arm.

Suga's jaw dropped. "He immediately tried to save it with his left hand!'

(Y/N) whistled. "Reminds me of when I did that."

The ball just hit the net, going over the other side and falling beside Konoha, making the boy reach over to try and save it, but failing to do so.

"Nice Hinata!" Yamaguchi cheered.

"He used to fret so much when the timing was off!" Suga commented.

"Nice Shoyo!"

"So he's evolving, huh?" (Y/N) muttered, writing something down in her notebook. "Good for him."

Hinata stared at Kageyama. 'The set dropped again.'

Kageyama stared right back at him. 'He's... different than before.'

"Don't let it get to you, we couldn't do much about that one!"

"We'll get the next one!"

Sweat rolled down Ukai's face. 'Hinata and Kageyama aren't the only ones who've changed.'

9-5, Fukurodani leading.

Asahi bounced the ball against the floor, taking a deep breath before he threw it up high and ran, jumping. He brought his arm back and strongly hit it, sending it flying.

"It's out!"

It just barely missed the line and Asahi clicked his tongue, annoyed.

'Azumane looks so intense when he clicks his tongue like that,' Yachi thought to herself.

"That's fine, keep it up!" Ukai yelled.

(Y/N) hummed. "That serve was similar to Shizen's style... I guess Asahi-senpai tried to recreate it to fit him."

The game went on, the shouting, squeaking of shoes, the ball hitting against the floor and skin. Watching the game honestly made (Y/N) tired, especially when she could feel the outdoor heat seeping into the gym.

Nekomata crossed his arms, smiling in amusement as he watched the game. "Indeed, this is truly delightful! This is ever so delightfully..."

Suga, who set the ball up, let out an, "Ah!" along with Tanaka when he set the ball a little too high for the teen for a synchronized back attack.

"...not in sync at all."

(Y/N) facepalmed.

"Did Karasuno just try to do a synchronized attack?"

They continued to play and Suga received a spike. "Sorry, cover!"

Noya began to run. "Leave it to me!" He jumped right before the line, getting ready to set the ball, a wide smile on his face.

"Oh! Jumping off from the back zone? Is the libero doing a jumping set?"

"Ah!" Noya blurted out when he realized he over jumped, awkwardly landing before the ball. 'I jumped too far!'

He began to blush in embarrassment at Bokuto's look. "Hey, what's up with you guys today? Are you alright?"

"Dammit!"

Sighing, (Y/N) pushed her hair back. "I'm not even playing and I can feel Yuu-senpai's embarrassment."

24-12.

"I wonder what happened to Karasuno. Maybe they're in some kind of rut."

"I'd say it's the opposite," Nekomata replied with a small laugh. "Because they're crows, they're omnivorous. Whether it be deep in the mountains or in the middle of Kabukicho, they eat anything edible and take advantage of those stronger than them to survive. It looks like they're in the middle of evolving at an incredible speed and (Y/N) seems to have noticed this. Knowing her, she won't let this opportunity escape."

Bokuto jumped in the air, excited as the ball came to him and he smashed it down a three person block. "Yes!"

Nekomata put a hand to his chin. 'Though it seems there might be one exception.'

(Y/N) pursed her lips, eyes on Tsukishima.

The whistle blew, indicating the end of the game, with Fukurodani winning 25-12.

"Thank you!"

The Karasuno boys all went outside.

"The penalty for this camp is apparently something you only see at Shizen," (Y/N) explained, putting her hair in a ponytail. "A refreshing sprint up the hill behind the school to the forest. But, our punishment is going to be slightly altered."

"Um, what do you mean by that, (Y/N)?" Asashi asked and the girl smirked sadistically, making him flinch.

"I'm so glad you asked. See that there?" She pointed at two of the bags she brought and Noya opened one of them, revealing weights.

"Weights?"

"I asked permission from the VP if I could borrow weights from the weight club," she explained, putting some weights on her legs. "For our punishment, we will be running up and down the hill with weights on. Each weight is ten pounds, so you'll be carrying an extra twenty pounds with you."

"WHAT?!"

"This is your punishment and way to improve your body strength!" (Y/N) exclaimed, pointing a finger at them, standing tall. "For every loss, we run up this hill with these weights on. I'll be joining you all on this punishment."

They all crowded the bags, putting the weights on their legs and lined up beside each other, preparing to run up the hill.

"All right, ready, go!" Daichi shouted and clapped his hands, signaling for them to run.

They all began to run up the hill with shouts, panting heavily and struggling slightly due to the weights on their legs.

(Y/N) zoomed past them without trouble. "What's wrong boys? Move those legs and keep up! Let's go!"

Once finished with their punishment, Yachi and Kyoko handed water bottles to them all.

"Here." "Thanks." "Sugawara, here."

"Here you go, (Y/N)," Yachi said, handing the girl a bottle.

"Thanks Yachi." She grabbed the bottle, taking a giant gulp of the cold, refreshing water. "But man..." (Y/N) sighed, making the short girl look at her in concern. "I'm definitely going to get a workout at this camp." she deadpanned. "I can already feel like future punishments these guys are going to do."

"Ahaha..." Yachi smiled. "Don't mind, (Y/N)."

After playing sets and doing punishments all day, it was already night time and the boys laid against the grass.

"Man... We were utterly destroyed," Suga mumbled.

Daichi laid beside him and Tanaka. "It's actually sort of refreshing."

"I haven't done that many sprints since Coach Ukai was around." Tanaka groaned, laying face down. "The weights (Y/N) brought made it worse..."

"Let's borrow (Y/N)'s tablet and review videos of synchronized attacks," Daichi said, sitting up. "We can also review the notes she took as well."

"All right." "Sure thing."

Asashi also sat up. "I'm gonna go practice serving. I still need a lot of work," he replied, making Yamaguchi perk up. 'I'm gonna practice my serves too.'

"Hey dude from Karasuno, wait up!" Kuroo shouted, making me perk up. "You with the glasses!" Tsukishima turned to see Bokuta, Kuroo, and I. "Can you block some balls for us?"

"Please help me out Kei," I said, pointing a thumb at Bokuto. "It's becoming a pain to block Koutaro-senpai by myself. I need some help."

Tsukishima stared at the three of us. "Oh, actually, I'm done for the night." He bowed. "If you'll excuse me."

'Done?' I pondered, looking at him. '...Does he not plan to take advantage of the purpose of this training camp?'

"What?!" the two third years exclaimed, shocked.

"It's meaningless to practice spiking without blockers," Bokuto said, leaning against the door. "I'm begging you!"

"Hey, so you're saying I'm not a blocker?" I asked and Bokuto flinched.

"N-No! That's not what I mean (Y/N)!" His hands flailed around.

"Why does it have to be me?" Tsukishima asked. "Why not someone from Fukurodani? I mean, you already have (Y/N) with you, she's good enough."

Akaashi walked from behind us, revealing himself. "Bokuto's spike practice is endless, so they all hurry up and leave to escape from it," he explained. "We're lucky (Y/N) decided to agree."

"Anything for my friends." I grinned. "Is what I'd like to say, but I got caught and they dragged me over. I only agreed since I'm getting something out of this too."

"And I'm busy training this guy over here," Kuroo added, gesturing to Lev who was on the floor, soaked in sweat.

"I'll block for him! C'mon!" Lev whined.

"Shut up! If you want to stay on the roster, you need to actually be able to receive the ball!" Kuroo shouted at him and I sweatdropped.

"Gwuh..."

"He may not look it, but this guy's one of the top five spikers in the country, so I think he'd be good practice for you," I said, placing my hand on Bokuto's shoulder. 'It's best to gather information first hand on your opponents. Seeing them play in person and up close is better than video.'

Bokuto stood up straighter, arms crossed with a proud look.

"So somehow he didn't make it into the top three, huh?" Akaashi put a hand on his hip.

Kuroo patted his back. "Shake it off, buddy."

"It's alright Koutarou-senpai, don't mind."

Bokuto turned to the three of us, slapping Kuroo's hand off of him. "Don't build me up just to knock me down!" he yelled , annoyed.

Mockingly smirking, Kuroo faced Tsukishima. "Besides, couldn't you use a bit more practice blocking, seeing as you're a middle blocker and all?"

An irk mark appeared on the blond's face and he walked towards us and into the gym in silence.

"Provoking a reaction out of him to join us." I nodded approvingly. "Nice job, Tetsuro-senpai."

Akaashi didn't say anything and Bokuto just gave him a thumbs up.

"One more!" Bokuto shouted as Akaashi set him another ball and he jumped into the air, spiking it past Tsukishima's block. "One more!"

Again and again and again and again and again.

The scene repeated as I watched on the sidelines, watching how Bokuto spiked the ball past Tsukishima every single time.

"Yes!" he cheered.

"You know you just beat a single blocker, right?" Akaashi rhetorically asked.

"Stop raining on my parade!" Bokuto complained as Tsukishima panted, his hands on his knees.

Kuroo stepped up. "Well, how about two, then?"

"Bring it on!"

Tsukishima looked back to see a passed out Lev who was surrounded by volleyballs. 'Is he dead?'

I tapped his shoulder, making him look at me and I shook my head. "Don't question it."

"Are you going to join us too, (Y/N)?" "Eh, why not."

"Here we go!" Bokuto shouted, throwing the ball to Akaashi so he could set it up.

Tsukishima stood next to Kuroo, making the third year stand between the two of us.

"Four eyes, make sure you watch for that straight spike!" Kuroo instructed and the three of us jumped when Bokuto did. Bokuto spiked the ball and Kuroo smirked, moving his hands near mine, so the ball hit our palms, sending it down.

"Yay~!" the ravenhead cheered.

"Dammit!" Bokutp sighed, closing his eyes. "Specky, you're good at reading me, but... Your blocks are pretty weak." Something in Tsukishima seemed to snap, especially when he heard me laughing. "I get worried that I might break your arm in two or something. I don't have to worry about (Y/N) since her blocks are strong. But you gotta rush in and stop the ball. Rush in!"

"I'm still a growing boy!" Tsukishima said, huffing. "I still have a ways to go in both strength and height."

"If you take it too easy, Shorty will steal the spotlight," Kuroo mentioned. "You play the same position, right?"

I nodded in agreement. "In all honesty Kei, the way you are now, Shoyo will definitely surpass you. He's putting in the effort while you're staying the same. If you work after hours to improve then-"

"I don't think I can do anything about that." Tsukishima cut me off and forced a smile, putting a hand on the back of his neck. "He's clearly far more talented than I am."

"Hm?" Kuroo stared.

"Ah!" Inuoka walked into the gym. "Are you practicing spikes again?! Want me to block?! Do ya?!"

Yaku followed behind him. "Hey, Lev! Stop rolling around on the ground! Practice receiving!"

"Ugh, Yaku!"

"Don't "ugh" me!" Yaku retorted. "Get up already. You had a long enough rest."

"Yeah, I'm totally set to go for some blocking practice!"

"Oh? Then let's see what you've got."

Tsukishima continued to force his smile. "Well, it looks like I'll be in the way, so if you'll excuse me."

"Hey!"

"Looks like you stepped on a mine, Kuroo," Akaashi said

"You pissed him off," Bokuto teased. "You're not living up to your reputation as a master of provocation, Kuroo."

"No, what Tetsuro-senpai did is fine," I replied, scratching my head. "Kei needs to understand that he'll get left behind if he doesn't try. I agree with what Tetsuro-senpai said, but I wish you'd have said it in a better way."

The third year sighed. "Who could have imagined that, though?"

"Imagined what?"

"Karasuno's Shorty is definitely strange and a threat ("You bet he is!"), but in terms of technique and experience, he's like a baby bird. ("Hey-!) Plus he's really short," Kuroo explained, ignoring my inputs. "Four eyes is that tall and has those brains, and yet... He
