Sitting on my knees in a seiza position, my mouth twitched nervously as sweat drops rolled down my face. Takeda looked down at me, arms crossed as he continued to lecture me.

'Ah, I'm being scolded.'

The Karasuno boys along with Aomine and Ukai watched me get scolded by the angry Takeda. 'It's like a parent scolding their kid.'

Thankfully, he decided to take this scolding to Karasuno's room and not scold me in front of all the teams. When I arrived back at the school (Aomine was still carrying me), the games had ended and the boys were cleaning up. Takeda was calmly smiling, but everyone could sense the underlying anger in his smile. I could clearly remember the wincing from the Nekoma boys (especially Yaku, Kenma, and Kuroo) when they saw me get dragged by the back of my collar to receive my lecture when I tried to run away.

That damned Gramps of mine had the nerve to just laugh, damn old man.

"Do you have anything to say for yourself? Going off on your own and not answering our calls for two hours. Did you not think about how worried we would be?" Takeda lectured, ranting off about my behavior.

I looked towards Ukai, sending him a pleading look with puppy-dog eyes. He sighed, walking up to Takeda and grabbing his arm, dragging him away. "I think that's enough lecturing for today, sensei."

"But-!"

"Come on, let's go!"

The two exited the room, making it silent. Letting out a sigh of relief, I stood up, my knees cracking from how stiff they were for being in the seiza position for twenty minutes. Stretching, I let out a groan. "Ugh, remind me to never get on Takeda-sensei's bad side or get him angry ever again."

"Noted," Sugawara sassed, shaking his head. "But he did have every good reason to be angry since you went MIA for two hours."

I pouted, pointing an accusing finger at the blue haired male leaning against the wall. "Blame Ahomine!"

He snapped his attention from his phone to me. "Oi! Be grateful that I carried you back here, (N/N)."

"I wouldn't have gotten scolded like a child if you didn't drag me to play basketball with you."

"Teme-"

"Who are you by the way?" Daichi asked, interrupting the two of us who were butting our foreheads.

Aomine looked towards him, moving his forehead away from mine and standing up straight, his hands in his pockets. "Aomine Daiki, former teammate of (N/N) during middle school." he introduced, looking around the room with a judging face. "Honestly, I don't understand why (N/N) decided to join such a weak team."

"Daiki!" I quickly shouted, while the boys had frowns on their faces, glaring at him. I turned towards the boys. "Sorry about him, he doesn't-"

"Don't lie, you know I mean it," Aomine stated, interrupting me. "(N/N) could have done better than Karasuno and joined a powerhouse school if she wanted to. "She had offers from other highschools, yet she decided to join a weak bunch."

"Who are you calling weak?!" Hinata and Kageyama yelled out at the same time, glaring at Aomine with clenched fists.

Aomine spared the two a glance, looking down at them with a blank expression but had mocking eyes. "You. I'm calling you all weak," he said, letting out a scoff and a hint of a chuckle. "You're all weak and won't be able to win with where you are at now. Besides..." He smirked at them. "(N/N) will lose her interest and leave you if you don't change."

"What-"

"Ahomine right?" Tsukishima spoke up and Aomine glared at him. "You must not have any brains if you think we are weak. Anyways, idiots shouldn't speak about whether we are strong or not. Right, Ahomine?"

"Hah?! What was that french fry?!" Aomine snapped and I held him back, not wanting his short temper to blow up on Tsukishima. "Tch! Well it's true you're all weak, you lost to all those teams out there. I also heard a rumor, that you are called the Flightless Crows." The boys flinched at that, some of the older ones gritting their teeth. "A monster doesn't belong with a group of losers like you guys who can barely win."

"Daiki!" I shouted, warningly and he looked down at me. Our eyes clashing against each other. "Don't insult them like that."

"Hah!" he scoffed. "But it's true isn't it (N/N). The fact that they are weak and can barely win. C'mon tell them the truth, that you were planning to leave them if they couldn't get you to feel a passion for sports again. If they can't win, then what's the point of playing and being with them," Aomine stated and my jaw clenched, eyes looking away out of guilt. Aomine then looked back at the boys. "I don't understand why she thinks this team can revive her passion and feeling of thrill for sports, but if you continue like this, then she'll definitely walk away since nothing will change for her."

"(Y/N) enjoys being with us!" Hinata argued, glaring at him. "She won't walk away from us because we are a team!"

"Yeah yeah!" Noya shouted, Tanaka yelling with him. "Our goddess would never leave us!"

"Pfft- hahaha! A team?!" Aomine laughed, looking down at the ginger. "(N/N) being on this team does nothing for her, I mean it's more like a one way deal as she gives you strategies and helps you get stronger, but what does this team do for her?" He said and the boys look taken aback. "If this were back at Teiko, she would have left you all in a heartbeat."

Aomine glanced at me through the corner of his eye. 'I still don't understand why she didn't join Kise... Why did she not join her brother or him? Tch! Forget it.'

It was silent, the boys looking thoughtful causing Aomine to scoff once again. "I think you overstayed your visit Daiki," I spoke up and he rolled his eyes at me. "I'll walk you out." I then turned towards the boys. "Sorry about him guys."

Pushing Aomine out of the room, we walked towards the school gate in silence. Suddenly, his phone rang and he took it out of his pocket. "What do you want, Satsuki?"

"WHERE ARE YOU?!" she shouted, her voice being heard through the phone. Aomine pulled the phone away from his ear, wincing slightly. "I've been looking everywhere for you!"

"I'm with (N/N)," he replied and Satsuki let out a mix of a whine and squeal.

"(N/N)-chan! Give her the phone!" she demanded and Aomine handed me his phone.

"Hey Satsuki," I greeted, smiling and she happily greeted me back.

"(N/N)-chan! It's been so long since I've seen you! We need to hang out."

"Definitely, but I'm busy with the training camp and stuff."

"Awww, then let's hang out during the Winter Cup!" Satsuki said and I hummed.

"I wouldn't miss the Winter Cup, especially this year since everyone will be going against each other. Let's hang out then," I responded and looked at the sun going down. "Daiki will head back over now... Also..." I whispered the last part so he wouldn't hear what I'd say to Momoi. "During Ryo's game against Daiki, please watch over both of them and make sure they don't get hurt."

I couldn't see her, but I could feel the gentle smile on her face and she replied to my request. "You can count on me."

I grinned. "Alright! I'm handing the phone back to the idiot over here! ("Hey!") Bye Satsuki!"

"Bye (N/N)!"

Handing the phone back to Aomine, he said a few more things to Momoi before ending the call and stuffing his phone back into his pocket. He clicked his tongue before letting out a sigh. "...I'll see you later (N/N)."

"Mhm... Bye Daiki." He started to walk away before he stopped, looking over his shoulder at me.

"If you need a shoulder to lean on and someone to lend an ear to your ranting, I'll be here," he earnestly declared and my heart skipped a beat before a stupidly happy smile bloomed on my face.

"Yeah... Thank you Daiki."

"Kiyoko, Yachi..." I mumbled and the girls looked over at me. Our futons were laid beside each other while the other managers placed their futons in other areas of the room we were given. "I think... I think I want to tell everyone about my past."

"The time from when you were in middle school?" Yachi asked, looking over at me and I gave a small nod, frowning slightly as I squeezed my pillow closer.

"I don't want to hide anymore... I want to change instead of hiding behind a mask, but I'm afraid." I buried my head into my pillow, hiding the tears building up in my eyes. "I'm afraid to change... But I'm desperately wanting to."

I felt someone gently rub my head and I heard Kiyoko's voice above me. "I'm happy that you're taking the first step to try and change yourself (Y/N). I know that it's a hard thing to do, but no matter what, we'll accept you as you."

Sniffling, I looked up at the two girls. "Will you all accept me for me and not my fake self?"

"Of course!" Yachi shouted, blushing when she realized how loudly she said that.

"I'm not all smiles and happy all the time."

"That's fine."

"I'll be brutally honest and mean at times. I'm very judgmental."

"T-That's completely okay!"

"I can be lazy." "Heh, we know and that's okay."

"I'll act more mature and like an idiot at times."

"Mhm."

"I'm a weeb." "Alright?"

"I'll be a completely different person and act totally different than usual. I can be loud, I can be quiet, I'll be really different from the (Y/N) you all know... So... will you two... will everyone still accept me when I reveal my true self?" I teared up and Yachi and Kiyko both smiled at me, bringing me into a hug.

"We will all accept you no matter what, even if you act completely different because you are Kise (Y/N), our teammate and friend."

Right there and then, I burst into tears, letting myself ugly cry while the two girls comforted me. I decided there and then that I was going to tell the boys my past at Teiko when we got back to Karasuno.

A/N : NEXT CHAP, (Y/N)'S PAST AT TEIKO! Phew! We are finally at this point, I've been wanting to write about her past, I'm excited. I got a few bullets down on how I want this to go.

We got our first interaction between a GOM member and Karasuno. At first I thought I'd make Ryouta interact with Karasuno, but Aomine seemed like the better choice since it would give the boys a reality check and a push for (Y/N) to reveal her past.

Sorry for the slow updates. i'm going to keep it at 1 chap every 2 weeks until school ends. I can't remember when my school ends, idk if its the 16-18th or on the 26th, I think they might change it cuz no regents and finals and stuff.

title names are hard at times to come up with when you got multiple options ugh >.<
