Kageyama faced Oikawa. "Next time, I'll do the same thing-" He smugly pursed his lips. "-so please do be vigilant."

"...You damn brat." Oikwa frowned, an irk mark on the side of his head and (Y/N) laughed out loud, slapping her knee.

"Nice one, Tobio!" she gleefully cheered for her friend, not suppressing the genuine smile that appeared on her face. Oikawa clicked his tongue when he saw her expression, a pain in his heart.

"Wow... Karasuno's setter is only a first year, yet he's competing with Oikawa. It feels like a setter showdown."

"That's amazing! You don't even lose to the Grand King, Kageyama!" Hinata smiled, throwing his fists back and forth excitedly.

Kageyama looked over his shoulder at Oikawa. "...Even if he's someone whose overall power is #1 in the prefecture, when it comes to being a setter, I won't lose."

(Y/N) smirked. "A setter showdown... Let's see who will triumph, the hard working teacher or the genius student." She rubbed her hands together, licking her lips and an excited look came over her face. "These battles are always the most fun to watch."

"What do you mean?" Kiyoko asked the girl and (Y/N) continued to smirk.

"A teacher vs student battle is always fun to watch because it keeps you on your toes," (Y/N) simply answered. 'I wonder if Ryo and Tetsu will have a battle like this one day... I can't wait.'

"But you're serving next, aren't you? You'll be in the read guard. You said "the next one's going to be the same," but a dump shot from the rear guard would be a foul," Hinata intelligently shot Kageyama down which made (Y/N) blink in surprise that he could use his brain at times.

"Shut up!" Kageyama shouted, an embarrassed frown on his face. "I meant the next time I rotate back into the vanguard, alright!" ("Pfft!")

"Kageyama, give'em a good one!" Tanaka shouted as the setter went up to serve.

He took in a breath before throwing the ball up and jumping into the air, smacking it with a lot of force. 'Crap!' He gritted his teeth.

"It's out." Hanamaki deadpanned, watching the ball fly over him.

The whistle blew and the flag holders raised the flag up. "Oh dear... I guess he put too much force into it?" Takeda mumbled.

"It's alright! Go ahead and give it all you've got!" Ukai shouted and (Y/N) leaned over to him.

"He was too excited, trying to one-up Tooru-senpai."

"Be quiet brat." "Fine~"

"That was a really impressive missile," Iwaizumi praised and Oikawa snickered.

"What an incredible home run~!" He mocked, a stupid smile on his face.

'Dammit!' Kageyama shook and twitched. "Sorry."

"-Well then... I suppose I'll just have to show you how it's done," Oikawa mumbled, holding the ball up in his hand. He threw it up. 'Here it comes. Oikawa's serve!'

'Who will he target?' Suga grit his teeth, watching nervously. Noya locked his lips, eyes focusing on Oikawa's jumping form. He hit the ball and it headed towards Noya. 'Huh? Nishinoya?'

'An amazingly fast drive serve. But it's coming at me head-on... No. It has a spin.' Noya moved over the last second, shifting his weight over into a lunging position as he cleanly received the ball. The ball flew up into the air and Noya smirked.

"Oooh! He kept Oikawa's serve in play! Man, Karasuno's libero is amazing!"

(Y/N) whistled, impressed as always by her short senpai. "Yu-senpai really is a great libero. I can't wait to see him grow even more in the future."

"He got it!" "Awww..."

"Whoopsie. He really is something." Oikawa teeheed, rubbing the back of his head nervously.

"NIshinoya, nice receive!"

"How was that "showing how it's done"! He got it with a normal receive, DIDN'T HE!!" Iwaizumi angrily yelled with a pissed off expression.

"Ehehe~" Oikawa childish stuck out his tongue.

"Bring it on!' Hinata shouted.

"It's #10!"

Oikawa narrowed his eyes. The ball went up and Kageyama faked a look, tricking Kindaichi to look over. He then quickly set the ball to the already in air Hinata who spiked it down past the two first years.

"YESSS!" "Alright."

'Even if they know about this quick strike, it won't be so easy for them to stop it if they can't get to Hinata. This has been a battle of countermeasures from the very beginning...!'

"Did you see that? He looked toward the right side just now," Shimada said with a smug yet proud smirk. "Come to think of it, Nekoma's setter was really good at looking elsewhere to throw his opponents off. His minutely precise toss by itself is incredible, but to do that after taking his eyes off the ball for a moment... That's some amazing skill."

"One more!"

"Geez, such a superhuman toss should be illegal!" Oikawa blurted out and Iwaizumi looked at him with a raised brow.

"Oikawa-kun's serve is truly frightening..." Takeda mumbled.

"Successfully keeping such tight control on the power of his initial serve... "Show how it's done" is about all you can call it," Ukai replied.

"Ah, but I guess he ended up hitting Nishinoya-kun by mistake?"

"Nope, I think he was aiming for Nishinoya. If Nishinoya couldn't keep it in play, that alone would be a real blow to the mindset of his teammates. That was probably the intent. Except our libero's got a good head on his shoulders!" 'What a save... You really did a great job keeping it in play Nishinoya...'

'But that basically means... Oikawa-kun won't be targeting Nishinoya-kun any longer...'

(Y/N) stayed silent, narrowing her eyes as she rested her chin on her free hand. 'Tooru-senpai... It looked like he was holding back on his serve power when testing Yu-senpai... Did he hold back to have better control over his serve to test him or was it because he wanted to surprise us with a better serve later on?'

"Sorry, I just keep getting fooled," Kindaichi apologized.

"Karasuno managed to lead Datekou around by the nose, afterall~ Well, give me just a little longer and I'll have a clue on how to catch that quick strike. It probably won't be long now," Oikawa responded and bent down to tie his shoe. "That aside Kindachi... You must be frustrated having your place as Kageyama's partner stolen away by that shorty."

Kindaichi was confused. "No, not really..."

"It's fine. I mean back in junior high Tobio thought of you as a particularly useless servant after all!" Kindaichi frowned, one mixed with disgust and a look that says 'I want to hit you'. "Even if this Oikawa-san here can't use the likes of that superhuman quick strike, we'll prove to him that Kindaichi is just as amazing." He pressed his fingers against Kindaichi's back. "Don't worry about it. Just jump."

"R-Right!"

"Nice serve, Tanaka!" "Nice!"

"Watari!" "Got it!" "Nice receive!"

Kindaichi ran up, jumping for the ball Oikawa set to him. 'It's an A-Quick!' Hinata jumped after him. Kindaichi stretched his hand out, hitting the ball above Hinata's block. 'Huh?!' Oikawa smirked. The ball slammed to the ground, gaining Aoba Johsai another point.

"WAY TO GO YUUTARO! PUSH EM BACK YUTARO! ONE MORE POINT!"

"What was that..." Daichi looked over at the first year. "Maybe I just imagined it. I've got a feeling that #12 over there jumped higher than he did during the practice match."

"Can you really improve your jumping power in such a short span of time?" Asahi asked him.

"...That's why I said it might be my imagination," Daichi replied.

(Y/N) pursed her lips. "He jumped higher than usual," she suddenly said, making Ukai snap his attention towards her.

"What?"

"Although I didn't really pay attention to that first year much during the practice match Karasuno had against them, I can tell that his jump has gotten higher." (Y/N) sighed, pushing her hair behind her ear. "Daichi-senpai and Tobio must have noticed too, but from the looks of it they might think of it as a fluke. Well we should be wary of him now since his jump has gotten higher and he is showing improvements..." She sighed deeply. "I'm getting a bad gut feeling." 'We... Are probably going to lose this match... I only got bad gut feelings whenever I played a match against Sei or Daiki and when I got those gut feelings - I always lost.'

Ukai frowned, glancing at (Y/N) from the corner of his eye. 'She really is impressive, being able to notice his improvement and compare it to a practice match from months ago. A sport's prodigy indeed... I should take her words into consideration.'

"Iwa-chan nice serve~" "Nice."

"In front!"

Daichi moved a little too late, making the receive off. "Sorry, cover it!"

"Right!" "Send it over!"

Oikawa stayed quiet, staring at Hinata which didn't go unnoticed by (Y/N). Hinata ran up and Kageyama jumped to set it. Oikawa's eyes stayed open, keeping them on the running ginger. Kageyama then set the ball to Asahi, making Kindaichi flinch since he jumped up to block Hinata. Asahi jumped, spiking the ball down and hitting it against Kunimi's hand, making the ball go out.

"Alright!!" Asahi shouted as Karasuno gained another point.

"Asahi nice one!" Suga, Ennoshita, and Narita shouted.

Oikawa stayed silent, seeming to be thinking of something. (Y/N)'s golden eyes widened as she felt herself shiver when looking at Oikawa. He had a grin on his face, which seemed to mirror the same type of grin (Y/N) always had whenever she figured something out. "....Got it." Kageyama shuddered and became wary the moment he glanced at him.

"We really are similar..." (Y/N) whispered under her breath as she continued to look at him. "It looks like Karasuno is in serious trouble now."

"Sensei! Sensei!" Oikawa whispered-shouted and Irihata flinched, immediately calling a timeout.

"Ehh? Seijoh's already using a time out? Isn't it kinda early?"

"It's not like the flow of the game's in Karasuno's favor or anything, either."

"The voices on the videotape were a bit hard to make out, so I wasn't entirely certain, but there's likely no mistaking it. The way to tell when Tobio and shorty-chan are going to use their superhuman quick versus a normal one," Oikawa said and his teammates looked at him in surprise. Oikawa placed his hands on his hip. "Bring and send, are the key."

Sugawara, Kageyama, and (Y/N) all tensely looked over at Oikawa who seemed serious while Hinata looked at the three in confusion. (Y/N) scoffed. "Really... He really annoys me..." 'Now I understand how other teams felt about us when Satsuki gave us all their information she analyzed.' "Tooru-senpai is like a waterdown Satsuki when it comes to analyzation, but it still doesn't make it any less annoying!"

"Ano... Who is Satsuki and what are you talking about, (Y/N)?" Hinata asked her and she sighed, tiredly shrugging her shoulders.

"Satsuki is a good friend of mine from Teiko... And don't worry about it." She patted his shoulder. "Just be prepared for more challenges coming your way. Seijoh is going to shut you down, so don't get discouraged. You just need to find a way and keep pushing forward."

Hinata tilted his head, still confused, but he shrugged it off. He didn't think Seijoh would catch onto him and Kageyama, he didn't have the thought of Seijoh shutting the freak quick down.

So he shrugged it off. Something that he would soon regret.

A/N : we won the tournament btw ;)

Anyhow! I am def planning to make this multiple parts like dang it be so long... So I think I'm going to do 2 more parts for this game, both parts are gonna be super long.

Chaps 48-69 is the entire Seijoh vs Karasuno game and I stopped at chap 50. So that means ima be doing 9 chaps for the two remaining parts (51-59 and 60-69) which means that those  two chaps r gonna be hella long, look forward to that.
