"Alright, I've got nothing more to say. Rest up today boys," Ukai said as practice came to an end.

"We will!" the boys shouted and I stood next to Kiyoko, nudging her and she nodded at me.

Daichi spoke up. "Okay then that's all for tod-

"Ahh hold on a moment!" Takeda shouted, interrupting him. "I think there are still two more people who want something to say." He then turned to us. "Take it away Shizimu-san! (Y/N)!"

The boys looked at us in confusion. "...I'm not... All that good with... words of encouragement so..." She bent down, going through the large plastic bag where we had put the banner. "(Y/N) if you would."

I saluted. "Leave it to me!" I grabbed the rolled up banner and climbed up the ladder, Kiyoko following behind me. "...Almost there."

"(Y/N)... I can carry it if you need help." "I'm fine!"

"What's going on?" Noya asked as the boys looked up at the railing.

"One... Two... Now!" I said and Kiyoko and I opened the banner, holding it up as it fluttered open. The dusty and damaged banner was now stitched clean, looking new as the kanji for 'FLY' was shown.

The boys were successfully shocked. A win in our book! I thought to myself. "Who'd have thought we had such a thing...!" Suga shouted in surprise.

"I found it while cleaning, so I fixed it up with (Y/N)'s help," Kiyoko explained and I shyly giggled. Hiding my bandaged fingers in my jacket pockets. When learning to sew I pricked myself multiple times and my sewing wasn't the greatest, but with Kiyoko's help and a bunch of practice we were able to finish the banner on time. Kiyoko did most of the hard work though.

"UOOOH! I'M GETTING ALL FIRED UP NOW!" Tanaka shouted, a blush on his face.

"JUST WHAT YOU WOULD EXPECT OF (Y/N) AND KIYOKO-SAN! NICE JOB!!" Noya screamed out after Tanaka, fist fists clenched in the air.

"...But..." Kiyoko mumbled and the boys tilted their heads. "Do your best." She blushed and the gym went silent. It seemed as if the whole world had frozen in place because of her words. I covered my mouth with one hand as I used the other to hold my phone to record their reactions, it was shaking because I was trying so hard not to laugh.

Kiyoko went down the ladder, a blush still evident on her face as the boys stood there in silence still looking at the banner. Then, tears gushed out of Daichi, Suga, Asahi, Noya, and Tanaka's eyes, surprising the first years. I laughed out loud since I got that on camera.

"Shimizuuu...!!" they all cried out, shocking Hinata and Kageyama even more since Daichi was also sobbing.

"..UU...! UU...!!!!!" Tanaka and Noya sobbed, Tsukishima and Yamaguchi looked at them with mixed emotions. 'The two are too shocked to even speak words and they're usually so loud...'

"What the heck, this is just getting out of hand now!" Tsukishima commented and I stopped recording, stuffing, my phone in my pocket before I climbed back down. When I made it down I noticed that there were boys from other clubs cursing the volleyball team.

"Damn you volleyball club! "I wish we had a female manager!"

"Ah, that's why they are cursing us." I deadpanned. "Oh well."

"WE'RE DEFINITELY GOING TO WIN THAT FIRST MATCH!!" "YEAH!!!"

I looked at Ukai who was sighing at the group of rowdy boys. We stared at each other, nodding. A mutual understanding between two asshole coaches. Takeda had gotten Ukai on board and he decided to willingly stay on board. I was forced by the two adults to join and decided to stay. "We stayed by choice... But I think I'm starting to regret this..." Ukai muttered and I solemnly nodded from beside him.

"June second, the next day. The National Interscholastic High School Athletic Meet or Interhigh for short. Volleyball competition Miyagi Prefecture Preliminaries, Day one," I narrated next to Asahi, we were sitting next to each other on the bus.

"(Y/N)... Why are you narrating?" he asked and I looked over at him, he sweatdropped. He looked nervous.

I shrugged my shoulders, leaning back into my seat. "Just felt like it, didn't it make you feel pumped up?"

"Uh, a little...?" Asahi replied and I sighed, looking out the window.

"You seemed a little nervous, so I tried to calm you down by making you feel excited instead," I honestly told him, pouting a bit.

He looked at me for a moment before smiling. "Thank you (Y/N), I appreciate it." Yeah you better, I thought to myself, a small smile on my face as I watched the changing scenery.

"Ah... We are here," I whispered under my breath, Asahi didn't hear me. 'Don't make another mistake.' "This isn't another mistake... I have a feeling it isn't..."

"I wonder what those Karasuno guys are like... I hope they don't have many tall players."

"Don't worry! Remember that conversation about how they're no big deal these days!"

"Shiratorizawa is already bound to win, huh."

"Nah, Aoba Johsai seems like it'll be a real contender this year. I hear that since Oikawa became a third year, he's taken full control."

"Seijou has really grown a lot in a year."

"Yeaah, but still, do you think they can win when they're in Datekou's block? Why're we in this block... Seriously, gimme a break. Let's see, who else is in Block A... Tori... Torino??"

"...It's read 'Karasuno,' isn't it?" "Karasuno? Who are they?"

"They're a school that used to be strong right?"

"Used to be, yeah."

"Now they have kinda got this lameass nickname y'know?"

"Ah." "Ehh? What is it?" "I'm pretty sure it was..."

"The Fallen Champions, the Flightless Crows."

Unfortunately, for that poor soul the moment he said their nickname, the Karasuno boys team was right behind him. All of them looked at him with dark expressions, glares and emotionless eyes. He didn't even notice, (Y/N) pitied him. Thankfully, she knew that Daichi would make sure that no one got into a fight.

One of the players turned around. He flinched. "Oi, wait! A... Oh crap."

"Huh? The boy who said the nickname blurted out. Turning around to see Tanaka preying on him.

"There they are...! It's Karasuno!" "?!?!"

"Flightless? What was that you were saying?" Tanaka asked the male with a creepy expression. "Hmm?"

Daichi walked up behind Tanaka, grabbing his shoulder. "Hey let's go! ... Sorry about that."

"That's okay... Ah..."

"Don't pick fights as soon as we arrive!" Daichi scolded as he grabbed Tanaka by the back of his collar.

"Ah..." "They're kinda dark."

"Isn't there a guy mixed in who doesn't look like a high schooler at all?

"Th...! That's...! No way! Karasu-no's.... AZUMANE!" Asahi flinched when the male said that, his shoulders tensed as depressing lines formed at the corner of his forehead. (Y/N) who was walking next to him raised an eyebrow in confusion.

"Huh? Wait, who?" a player questioned. I also want to know what he is talking about too! (Y/N) thought to herself.

"Apparently he had his underlings beat up a guy from Kitakou..." What actually happened : "It's a fight! L-let's call the police!"

"Sold some dangerous stuff on the street..." What actually happened : "Ah excuse me, you dropped this."

"And they say he repeated a year twice..." "EEEH?! Then he's actually an adult?!"

"PFFT-!" (Y/N) covered her mouth, shoulders shaking. Asahi looked like he wanted to cry as he bit his lip. How did those rumors come to be? The girl wondered as she recomposed herself. He's only a sensitive seventeen year old that looks old.

"There, there. That's what always happens~" Suga commented as he walked on Asahi's other side. A sparkly aura around him.

"It's all because you've got that sort of look to you," Daichi stated, dealing more damage to the already heart hurt ace.

"But I... Wanted to give off that wild feeling even if only in appearance..." Asahi explained, trying to pathetically defend himself. Well you certainly got it, (Y/N) thought, shaking her head.

"Geez, anyone who says something like that isn't wild at all," Suga and Daichi replied, going for a double kill.

"Urk!"

"As long as you think you're cool, who cares how others see you! Hahaha!" Noya shouted, a smile on his face.

"This is what you'd call wild." The two third year deadpanned while Noya looked confused. Asahi went quiet and (Y/N) moved to walk next to Kiyoko since she was the only normal one on the team, besides Ennoshitta, Tsukishima and Yamguchi.

"Hey look over there, she's cute." "Cyuute!"

"Why don't you call out to her?" "I'm too nervous..." "The blond is a total hottie too!"

Hearing the boys' comments, Noya and Tanaka appeared around (Y/N) and Kiyoko, the two circling them with threatening looks as they hissed at the other boys who were looking at the two pretty girls.

"Stop that." Kiyoko deadpanned, slapping the idiot duo with her two notebooks.

"Kiyoko... hit me!" Masochists, (Y/N) gazed at the two, slightly disgusted and scared.

"Hey, isn't that short guy... Chidoriyama's Nishinoya...? He received an award as the best libero in the Intermiddle competition."

"Whaa! Really?!"

"And that's not all... Oi that's who I think it is right? The genius setter rumored to be Kitagawadaiichi's King of the Court...?!

Kageyama turned to glare at the person who said his most hated nickname. Tsukishima let out a chuckle from next to him. (Y/N) glanced at the setter, he looked annoyed now.

"Why's he at Karasuno?"

"Who knows... But he didn't have such a great reputation in junior high..."

"Then how about him?!" the boy asked, pointing at Hinata who was looking around, amazed. "Is that short one over there some kinda amazing guy too?! Judging by his height he's gotta be a libero right?!"

"Erm... I've really got no idea about him..." (Y/N) and Tsukishima who overheard their whispers laughed quietly to themselves.

"Uoooh!" Hinata shouted, excited. "There are tons of people here!! The gymnasium is huge!" he then sniffed the air. "Aaand it smells like air salonpas!"

Kageyama looked at him, sweatdropping. "What the heck are you saying?" he asked, actually confused by the ginger.

"This smell really gives it that tournament feeling," Hinata explained and Noya backed him up, agreeing.

"Uwaah the guys from THAT school just got here too!" someone muttered. "Geh they're huge!"

Turning behind them, the Karasuno team looked over to see white jackets and green pants. (Y/N) smirked when she saw Futakuchi. The two teams faced each other, looking at one another with challenging looks. This is it, she thought to herself as the two teams confronted one another.

"It's Datekou-gyou!"
