Japanese Support Base - Naruto's Room

"How much did you miss me?" I smiled down at him, my raven hair swaying gently in the ponytail.

Naruto looked up at me, holding my arms tightly but not enough to hurt me, "Way too much but I deserved it. I'm still waiting for you to disappear from my sight once again."

"Well that's not happening," I hugged his legs under me.

"Good," he lowered my entire body, "I'm not letting you outta of my sight from now on anyway," just enough so he could reach up and brush my lips. Then he pushed me back to the same height, his warm smile almost blinding.

Wondering what we were doing on this fine morning?

After a pretty long night with Hajime constantly waking up demanding attention along with food that I was able to keep from my time with Kim, Naruto and I didn't really get some sleep until around four AM. By that time, I was already fully awake. So was he.

The captain came up with the amazing idea of doing some morning exercises. For him at least, I get to be used as weights.

That's what we're doing right now with Hajime watching in amazement. I was laying belly first on Naruto's clamped raised legs. I hugged his leg everytime he would lower then lift. Every once and a while he give me a kiss then return me to higher level.

Oh and he's still not wearing a shirt so I could see his muscles working every time he lowered then lifted me.

I'll admit, it's one good view from up here.

We've been doing this for a good hour since we didn't want to wake anybody else up so early...yet.

"Yahh!" Hajime shrieked beside us with his back leaning against the closed window sill covered with pillows, then burst into a fit of giggles.

Naruto laughed softly, "You want to try, buddy?"

Hajime looked at the captain in surprise then back at me, his eyes asking for my permission. I gave him a nod that threw him into another fit of laugher.

Naruto gently turned to the side so I rolled off, right next to the baby. He then reached over me to grab the baby who looked like he weighted nothing in the captain's arms.

He didn't exactly do what he did to me a few seconds earlier, but Naruto was on his back with the baby held up right above his face.

Hajime's dark eyes darted around the room, wide with wonder.

"Hajime," Naruto cooed. "Look at Daddy, he's right here."

That caught his attention as Naruto continued cooing, "Ready?"

He lowered the child, touched noses, then lifted him back into the air. Hajime laughed loudly as Naruto repeated the process over and over.

I watched them, my heart warming each and every time Hajime laughed along with the smiles Naruto painted on his face. I never thought Naruto would want a future in parenting since it seems like he would be away so much but seeing this image now...

I know exactly who I want to settle with when I return home. It'll be hard if he's still here in Eskon and with me in Tokyo but I'm willing to take that risk.

"You have one week before you and your team goes home," Naruto's sigh brought me back to the most beautiful image ever.

Hajime was laying on his belly on Naruto's raising and falling chest. I could see the child lay an ear down and try to hit the spot where Naruto's heart was.

"Y-yeah," I nodded.

He sighed loudly causing Hajime to flip out on his chest, "Such perfect timing."

"Perfect timing?"

Naruto looked at me with the biggest grin I have ever seen, "The same time my team and I get to go home, too. We have about a month or so of vacation so we can maybe look around..."

He trailed off.

What did he mean by look around?

"That is if you want to," The way Hajime's eyes suddenly widened again told me Naruto's heart must've picked up speed. "I-I just thought that it'd be easier that's why I suggested it."

"Naruto-kun, calm down," I giggled. "Look around for what? What would be easier?"

Naruto looked at me then at the ceiling, his cheeks blushing slightly, "I thought we could look around for a place to live together in since it would be easier to raise Hajime that way."

My ears twitched. Did I really hear right? Naruto wanted t-to move in with me?

"I-"

The door to his room suddenly burst open and in came Naruto's entire team plus Kazuki; some holding a sword and two holding crosses.

Life just got from perfect to complete awkwardness...

Kazuki was the first one to see the baby, "It was him."

Naruto and I exchanged a look.

"Shikamaru," Naruto sat up, holding Hajime close to his chest. "What is going on?"

"We heard a child cry all night," he sighed, putting down- putting down...garlic?

"So we thought some kind of demonic entity was roaming base in the form of a child," Sai finished with a smile. "We never expected an actually baby to be the source of the cries."

I hid behind Naruto as he spoke since what I'm wearing isn't really attire that I ever want people to me in, "And who ever came up with that?"

"You don't watch paranormal investigators?!" Kazuki nearly shrieked. "They'd hear children laughing in a haunted place then be possessed?"

My boyfriend shook his head, "We don't have cable."

"Exactly why you don't know," my friend snapped his fingers. "You need to to know the danger of this world."

Or another world...

"Where did you get the baby?" Kiba asked, still eyeing the boy pressed against his captain's bare chest.

Naruto looked at me, "When I found Hinata -"

"Wait," Kazuki jumped in again. "You found Hina-senpai?!"

"Dude how did you not see her when we came in?" Sasuke replied, looking at him in disbelief. "She was the woman wearing this idiot's clothes."

I blushed madly, hitting my forehead against Naruto's back as if it was going to hide me completely. I could feel his shoulders rumble a bit, as if laughing at me.

"Hina-senpai?" Kazuki called.

I only raises a hand, "I am here but can you people please leave so I can at least change?"

"I don't see a problem with what you were wearing before," Sai said, bluntly.

"P-please!"

Sasuke, oh dear Sasuke to the rescue.

He ushered everybody out without saying anything else. Shikamaru followed along saying it was so troublesome if he stayed. The others protested a little but the deputy didn't care. I didn't peek until I heard the door close.

"You're safe," I felt soft lips gently press against my hair. "You can come out, baby."

The Medicure

"Is there anything else you need?" I flipped through the clipboard.

The old man shook his head, "You took the pain away, doctor. For that I am grateful."

"Just remember to take your pills daily," I gave him the piece of paper with instructions for him.

The man, who literally had only one tooth, thanked me several times before standing up. He turned around then smiled over his shoulder, "Your son?"

I looked at the baby playing with his blanket in the bed next to me, "Yeah something like that."

"Who's the father?" The old man looked across the room. I followed his eyes and instantly blushed when I saw them focused on someone none other than the captain looking over a packet with Ino.

"Ah," The patient only gave me a gummy smile, "He is one handsome man. I can only guess why you're so taken to him."

Some of the other patients also looked at Naruto on cue. I could only blush and nod once, "T-thank you, sir."

The old man stumbled a bit as he walked towards the door but took a detour towards Naruto. All I could do is hide my face under the piles of papers.

"Of course I will, sir," I peeked when I heard Naruto speaking. I was surprised to see my boyfriend smiling at the man before looking at me. "She's the most important person to me. Here, let me help you."

Naruto gently grabbed the man's elbow and walked beside him towards the door, nodding, laughing and speaking but it was all distant I couldn't really hear.

I did hear the clanking of Ino's military boots as she made her way over to where I was sitting with a smirk.

"That guy is literally giving Naruto lessons on how to take care of the baby," she pulled a chair out and sat opposite of me. "It's really serious between you two, huh?"

I nodded, "Hajime helped."

"He's so cute," Ino looked at the baby, gumming his blanket to death. "But I wonder how the hell the guy knew Naruto's the 'dad'."

I gave that away myself.

"Soooo," Ino continued on. I looked at her, eyebrows raised.

"Yeah?"

Ino leaned forward, "Is it true?"

I have a feeling this just took an uncomfortable turn.

"Sai told me," Ino lifted her eyebrows knowingly, "that you were wearing Naruto's clothes this morning when they burst in."

Oh no...

"Does that mean," the blonde lifted her hand and covered half of her mouth so only I could hear her, "You two had some fun last night?"

I could literally feel my ears turning pink from all the embarrassment.

"N-no!" I waved my hands. "Remember we had H-Hajime there, t-too and he's we're s-stuck with him!"

Ino snapped her fingers, "Dammit. Oh!"

"I don't like this..."

"How about Sakura and I take Hajime for the night?" Ino's smirk deepened of that were even possible. "So you and Naruto can have that 'fun.'"

"N-no," But it was too late, the blonde was already out of her chair rushing towards Sakura's office.

Patients looked after Ino as if she grew an extra head. Then at me as if I grew a tail. I could only smile and nod just to hide my embarrassment.

To make matters worse, Naruto walked over to me, his thumb tucked in his weapon belt; a posture I came to define as something very attractive.

That or my mind is going crazy with all the sex talk from Ino.

"Everything okay, baby?" Naruto asked when he was really close to me.

Really close like I could feel his breath from where I was sitting and see how his blue eyes were literally crystallized and perfect and amazing...

And he just called me baby in the sexiest voice ever that it made me shut my eyes as well as hide my face behind the papers I was looking at.

Damn you, Ino.

"Hina?" Naruto's voice suddenly became really close.

Oh shoot.

"You okay?" He reached out and touched my cheek gently with his hand. "Woah. You got a fever or something?"

I grabbed his wrist, lifting it, "I-I'm fine."

My boyfriend looked a little surprised at my sudden aggressiveness. It took me a bit to realize that if I continue this up, he'd get wrong ideas about how much I hate him or something.

I sighed, bringing his hand down so I'm stroking his knuckles, "I'm s-sorry. I'm just tired and I'm trying to get back into business so I can get a little moody."

Naruto nodded slowly, "But you had a fever."

"I'm fine," I giggled. "Really, I am."

"If you say so," he sighed with his signature smile.

"Oh and Ino said she would watch Hajime for tonight with Sakura i-if we wanted some time," I drew a breath, barely able to look at those amazing eyes without blushing. "S-some time alone."

"Oh?" Naruto blinked once, then his eyes widened. "Ohhhh."

"Y-yeah," I bit my lip.

The captain looked at me for another second just long enough for me to see the small pink coming to his whiskered cheeks before he looked behind me at Hajime.

"If you're ready," my boyfriend finally looked at me, his blue eyes warm. "I'll be ready."

Standing up, Naruto leaned over drawing me into one of the deepest kisses we have ever shared. It was hungry for more but at the same time, it told me how much the man behind it loved me.

When he pulled back, I could only lightly gasp.

"I'll see you later," with one last wink he left the medicure filled with watchful eyes that I could literally melt under.

"Gahh," Hajime caught my attention.

I sighed, looking at him with a weak smile, "I hope you don't know what just happened?"

The boy looked at me with his brillant black eyes for a few seconds. Then he smile widely at me and threw his arms upwards.

"I'll take that as a no," I reached over and gently stroke his cheek with my finger.
