Wricheek, the great sage, Aurva's son,

Dhyans always, for God is his mourn.

He has great spiritual power,

Like God he can build a tower

Of his creation,  run it himself,

But keeps his abilities in shelf

Of heart. He but meditates,

Beholds Brahma always.

His soul and Brahma together stays,

In Brahma his mind finds the base.

Beside high road he made his cottage.

One day King Gaadhi passed his hermitage

With his soldiers, horses and chariots

And only daughter Satyavatee on his chariot.

Wricheek was enamored at her grace,

Felt attracted seeing her face.

Decided to marry her the sage,

His desire never to cage.

Kanyakubja he straight went

To get the great King's consent.

On the road were various men,

Various shop-keepers' inward pain.

Wricheek felt in heart their trouble,

The ungodly multiple bubble

Made his heart sink, made him unsmart,

He doesn't quite comply with the mortal part.

Anyway he reached King's court,

King Gaadhi was concerned at his report.

He knew how powerful he was

Hastened to ask his arrival's cause.

The straight saadhu did not loose time

Without fuss declared his intention prime.

"Your daughter I want the hand of,

I think I have fall in love.

It's all Kaam's play,

The god of love made me sway.

I'll care for her, don't worry,

I'll keep her comfortable, cheery."

For his only daughter the King had other plans,

He could not give her at anybody's hands.

Satyavatee deserves a worthy prince, he thought;

What catastrophe the day has brought!

To a poor sannyasee he cannot give her,

How to put the muni at bar.

Gaadhi said, "O muni great,

I never imagined our such great fate.

But of kanyaa-daan, the girl giving away,

We have a custom, we need a pay

Of thousand white horses with one ear black.

You need to pay without lack.

I know it's impossible for you,

But can't say no either to you.

Can you get it?" asked the King,

The muni understood what was to bring.

"Only thousand horses! It won't be difficult.

With Varun- god of water- I have to consult.

Prepare for marriage till that time,

Our harmony will together chime."

Returning his cottage for Varun he called,

The god hurriedly arrived, appalled.

"O munivar, pranaam", attentively he looked,

On muni's eyes his eyes hooked.

"Bring me thousand horses, all white" He said,

"With one ear dark, or I can't marry instead."

"Sure," said Varun, going away.

Lo! There are such horses at bray

In front of King's palace,

All alive in life of ace-

The muni. His power branched

To give power to the horses ranched.

They will live their lives

For long the saint's generating vibes.

The King had nothing to do,

Gave daughter with in mind rue.

Satyavatee, intelligent, energetic,

For muni's pleasure her seek.

In muni's cottage she stayed,

While Muni dhyaans instead.

Bhrigu, by yog, knew this news,

Arrived to see fairing of twos.

Satyavatee cared for him most,

She became his great host.

Seva- service-dharma she freely executed,

Bhrigu never found her to stand refuted.

Pleased, Bhrigu said to ask for boon,

Satyavatee knew what was coming soon.

Intelligently she asked for a brother and son,

Her father's tension she didn't shun.

King Gaadhi had no heir,

Her chance for a son was rare.

So she found out this solution,

Her brother and son's substitution.

Bhrigu gave her payas- milk and rice porridge-

To her and her mother, to unknown way fridge,

To be had piously, after bath.

To lead their way to fortune's path.

Wricheek and Satyavatee went to palace.

She met her mother face to face.

"O mother, drink this payas

That I got from Shree Vrigu's grace.

Then we will both have sons,

One son for each ones."

"This is the good fortune of us

Marrying you with Wricheek thus."

Her mother said, happy inward,

Her heart dancing like bird.

Next day they both went for bath

In river, for rituals aftermath.

Removing their clothes they took plunge,

Playing with water and doing body sponge.

Satyavatee's breasts oscillated in water,

Her mother pleased to see her daughter,

Her nipples round and tight,

Water flowing from her skin bright.

They both got up, rinsed their body,

Hurriedly went to have their foodie.

Alas! They chose wrong pots,

Ate to their hearts' lots.

Satyavatee went back to her hut,

To lead her life happily, but

Bhrigu came to know all about this,

Re-arrived to his boon dismiss.

"Shame on you, you took payas wrong,

In mind you both are young.

Now your mother will have a Brahmagyani son

And you will have a warrior born.

His great power will unite the world,

Everywhere his flag will be furled."

Satyavatee, terrified at this news,

Knowing his son will Braahman clan abuse,

Pleaded Bhrigu to alter the inevitable,

For Bhrigu is nothing unable.

But Bhrigu, adamant, said nothing could be done

For royal women of him making fun.

"At least," said Satyavatee, "make my grandson so,

So I will be free from this woe."

"So be daughter! Let so be!

Be your grandson a kshatriya." Thus said he.

In time Jamadagni took birth

To Wricheek and Satyavatee's mirth.

Shunahshep and Shunak are the sons other

Wricheek bore three sons as father.

Jamadagni grew up learned and strong,

Behavior showed to which ancestry he belongs.

He learnt military art,

His concentration never to part.

All he learnt without master,

He brought God in heart faster

Than others. His fame spread

All over. His asceticism made

All actions true for what he said.

He advised perfectly at any body's aid.

Veda-vetta, he was a rishi great,

His sidhhis none could equate.

These are spiritual power attained

By practice. Universal power unchained,

He could bring people alive

By connecting to universal vibe.

King Prasenjit's daughter Renukaa's hand

He sought to start tapasyaa grand

With her help. They had five sons

Between tapasyaa to keep away mourns.

Rumanvaan, Sushen, Vasu, Vishwaavasu

And Raam - the one was who

Youngest and God incarnate,

Came to reduce the earth's weight,

Weighty with wrong-doing people,

Their bubble ego arising to steep hill.

Raam was also the boldest,

In fight defeating the oldest.

Hail the arrival of Raam the Lord

For the wrong-doing in earth God cannot afford.
