I felt like my heart beating out of my chest on top of that. Tears rolling down from eyes. NO it won't end like this right. It shouldn't. I promised him I would take him home.

This is just bullshit. Just wait till get out if this mess, I thought which was filled up with anger and rage.

"Ugghh!! Come up, yeah grip my hand tightly. Just like that. You're doing good." I heard Mark saying.

That's when I saw Mark laying down on the platform, sweating, half of his hand trying to grab something which was really heavy.

That's it! It's Luke.

With a light of hope in my eyes I started running towards them. I grabbed two of has hands trying to get him up. Finally, when he was already standing on the platform, smiling, he once again fell to the platform right on his butt due to the sudden attack by all of us. You know, hugs are one of THE best things in the world.

"DO. NOT. DO. THAT. AGAIN." I spoke making every word clear. "But I really don't know what happened back there. I jumped really high as usual but it seemed like it didn't work like usual." Said Luke trying to explain the situation.

"Did anyone feel like the game was literally helping us to jump?" Asked Mark changing gazes to the three of us.
"Yeah it somewhat felt like that. It was as if the 'jumping high' part was done by us and the rest was automatic." Started Luke, "But when I jumped for the last part it didn't feel like that. I had to do it on my own which I wasn't clearly familiar with and boom I almost died."
Said Luke trying to make sense.

"What if it's because the time came to an end." Asked Mark. "How can you say that?" I asked wanting to know more.

"Well, it must be. Did anyone check the time when Luke was about to jump from the last one?" He asked. "I did. Before jumping. Its true. It was almost the end." Said Luke while trying to recall it.

"Yo, the bar is full again. I mean the time." Started Stacy, "but it's not moving." She said turning her gaze from her hand to us.

"Then if my assumptions are true, the time only starts running when we hit the start button before starting the next level." "Right, so that means literally everything depends on time, even the automated features that helps us" said Stacy right after what Luke said.

"So let's try not to die again and lose lives." Said Luke with a traumatized face.

Obviously, now who thought I would crave for pancakes just because of a game. Someone give me pancakesssss!!!

"You guys ready? To start?"Asked Stacy

"We need to enter that door I guess. Else why would a door stand in the middle of nowhere?" I said as all looked at me with in a sense of agreement.

We all started rushing towards the black door with a sense of nervousness filling up our insides.

As soon as Mark turned the door knob and opened the door, which was followed by a creeking noise, we saw 5 separate doors which stood in the middle of the four walls.

Yep! And it do sounds weird. A room inside the door even if it didn't seem like there was one from the outside.

All the doors were locked up which also had a red colour taped in the shape of a cross indicating us not to open. Well ,except the second door. It wasnt locked nor taped.

"guys, I guess we have to enter the second door." I said trying to make sense. "yeah she's right, the others are taped and locked." agreed Stacy.

We all then proceeded to the second door. We entered one by one through the door, eventually revealing a building or more like an abandoned building and it felt like as if we were standing in the corridoors. Alot of doors stood toward both the sides in which some of them were slightly open and some seemed like they were completely locked. The walls seemed to be so dirty with a lot of writings with red colour and all that. All in all, the whole place gave creepy vibes. "There, the start button" let out stacy turning our gazes to the button.

"But wait, what is this place?" Mark asked with a face full of question mark. "It seems like an abandoned building" "or more likely and abandoned hospital" Luke said finishing my sentence, his eyes still wandering the place out of curiosity.

He was right. There stood a huge door by the end of the hallway that read 'ICU'.

"So you're telling me that this is haunted?!" asked stacy with a tomatoe like red face. "Hey, we know nothing unless we start the game. And abandoned buildings doesnt always means haunted." said Luke trying to calm her down.

Why? Mainly because she has an extreme fear of ghosts and paranormal stuffs; How? maybe because her hostel life was such a disaster which even caused her to drop out of college.

"Guys should we start now?" asked Mark after a few seconds as Stacy relaxed for a bit. "yeah, we should. You guys ready?" asked Luke. "yep, lesgo, im fine" stacy reassured as I proceeded towards the start button.

"LEVEL 2, solve it." I heard the same voice from before as soon as I smashed the start button. "Wow! thats it? solve what? You could have atleast gave us some more intructions so we know what to do." I shouted to the voice as if it would hear me and give me back a reply.

tch! Too dumb, I know.
