Fred and George had been swapping identities since childhood. A game or fun trick to us on family, strangers, and everything in between. But ever so often a twin had to switch and steal an identity for a second. For better or for worse.

Fred had stepped into George's shoes without permission more than once, and he had been waiting for a time to even the score. After years of Geroge watching his brother fall in love with the Flint witch from afar, he couldn't let the literal only time that she was single slip through his grasp. Or his brothers.

For better or worse, sometimes he had to become the less attractive twin. This time hopefully for the better. George could no longer stand the tiptoeing around Lexus Flint. Fred wanted her. While the littlest Flint was good at hiding her emotions. His brother was not, not if you knew him. Not if you knew that Fred hadn't sexiled him from the room in months. And Angelina Johnson was trying to once again weasel her way back into his pants but Fred barely noticed or cared.

Fred would never admit it. But Fred Weasley himself, went to the library every Wednesday, sitting where he couldn't be seen, studying. The twins were not known for their academics, nor the number of books checked out under their library pass. Wednesday's happened to be the day that one, Mrs. Flint operated her black market.

And now, with her in his house. All George had to do was time it right, and he would get her all alone and his plan could start. Which also involved getting Fred and Lexus in different rooms, a battle all itself. They wouldn't even stand next to each other, but they could lean against something with the other just a glance across the room in sight.

That is where Harry and Ron made the perfect pairing. Mum always grew too suspicious when both the twins disappeared. But she always believed the best of the boy who lived. All he had to do was plant the seed.

He groaned dramatically falling over the back of the couch where the two were, "Ugh, I wish we had some... spice for this party."

"What do you mean spice?" Harry took the bait.

"You know, happy juice." He answered, vaguely.

"Happy juice?" Ron's face twisted.

"Yes, happy juice." Harry kept his voice low, trying to convey the message subtly to his best friend.

Ron finally clicked all the pieces together, in his little head, "Can you get us some? From the muggle world?"

"Oooh, I'm stuck in a promise of wizard's chess with mother dearest."

Ron groaned, but I knew just the person to lift their easily manipulated spirits, "But you know what, I don't think Fred has engagements at the moment."

They smiled and darted off, going to find my twin in the next room. Within the hour, Fred was gone. Thankfully not making up an excuse on why Lexus should join him on the mission. Fred was smart enough to know that missions that need to be performed with discretion should involve the least amount of pawns possible. As our guest, and mother's new favorite person, she would cause suspension that he could not afford.

"Hey, little Flint." He forced his voice to be a little louder, leaning against the wall to seem more like Fred.

He watched her eyes roll, never once looking up. "I'm done making deals with the devil."

She held back and chuckled, finally leaning back in her chair. Just as quickly as she relaxed she sat back up straighter. "What do you want, Weasley?"

How would Fred ask a girl out?

His Yule Ball plan wouldn't exactly work now... Not to mention the Weasley twins reputation was far too advanced for repeating history.

"Well, the first thing I would like is an attitude adjustment."

"Not my area of expertise." She flipped the page of the book she was taking notes on, still keeping a close eye on him or whoever she thought it was.

"What is your area of expertise then?" He wandered closer to her, comfortably flopping down next to her.

She looked up, at the ceiling, calculating a very precise answer to that question. "Finding and caring for my customer's delicate needs and wishes."

"And who is responsible for granting your wishes and caring for your needs?"

Lexus Flint raised her eyebrows at me, curious if that was meant to seem as dirty as it was. "I make my own way in the world. I only entrust my desires to myself."

"And what could the Pureblood Princess desire?" I leaned closer, which was something I noticed Fred doing when he usually spoke to the Flint girl.

"Right now?" She wondered, leaning forward as well to accept the challenge. "Well, for you to get to the purpose of your spontaneous visit Weasel."

"It would be my greatest desire, wish, want, craving...." I started, "My heart's greatest..."

She rolled her eyes, "Twin, find a point."

"Go out with me. This Friday." I finally finished, my cool Fred persona cracking slightly as she rushed me. Her head cocked to the side slightly, testing my seriousness. "How about you and I outside of these walls, wearing something other than green and red."

Her response was a full-hearted laugh. My master smirk dropped as she continued laughing. She picked up her things, still chuckling so much that she dropped her wand.

Right before leaving, she turned to face me, lightly placing a hand on the side of my face. "This is your dumbest prank yet, Twin."

"That wasn't a 'no'" My eyes followed her as she walked towards the door.

"It's a 'no'." Her voice still seemed entertained.

"Someone else already on your mind?" I questioned, my heart sinking because I was so terribly wrong. I didn't know whether to be thankful Fred did not have to face this embarrassment firsthand or cry in a corner because I had to. Why does it feel like I got rejected?

She cocked her head to the left, spinning her wand in between her fingers. "What are you playing at? You know I fancy George."

I choked on air at this point, "You what?"

"What's wrong with you? You're acting odd."

"Nothing, you caught me. I'll see you around, Flint."

Lexus waited until she heard the shutting of the library door before she burst into giggles. It would take a Polyjuice potion to make Lexus think George was Fred. Maybe more. She could always tell them apart, she just always knew.
