Evan's POV

I was actually quite excited but also nervous at the same time to go over by him. What if he gets pissed and tries to kill me?? I really shouldn't be thinking such negative thoughts, but my brain just won't shut up about it.

I looked at the clock. Only half an hour until school dismisses. Time seemed to pass by quickly, and before I knew it, the bell rang. Students already started to pack up and leave. In less than a minute or so, the classroom was more or less empty.

I packed my bag and left the classroom. I walked down the hall to the front entrance. I decided to wait by the field for Alex since he was probably still in football training.

I rested my bag on the side bench before taking a seat. I looked around the field for Alex, and sure enough, there he was making what seemed to be his final lap around said field.

I felt a sudden shift beside me and I turned my head to the side. Dave was seated beside me, out of breath and drinking his water greedily. After downing the entire bottle, he turned to me with a confused expression on his face.

"What are you doing here?" He questioned.

"I'm here waiting for Alex." I answered, not mentioning the reason just in case.

"Oh.." He turned away from my gaze. "I didn't realize you guys started hanging out." He stated with a hint of something in his tone that I couldn't quite comprehend.

"We're not really hanging out. We're just-" I was cut off by profuse panting. I looked up to see Alex staring down at us. He was out of breath and covered in sweat.

"He's here to give me his French homework, isn't that right dweeb?" He panted, looking at me.

"Y-yeah. That's right." I stuttered, hurriedly fumbling with my bag to unzip it.

"Not now you moron." He huffed, taking his shirt off and drenching his upper body with water.

I couldn't keep my eyes off of his body. It was so mesmerizing. Droplets of water fell down his chest and ran over his very defined six pack and into his...ahem...there. I flushed a bright red as I adverted my eyes.

Dave seemed to catch on as he looked between Alex and I. "Well then, I think I'll be heading out now." Dave said casually. He waved a goodbye and patted me on the back, letting his fingers linger for a while.

"Later." Alex shouted out.

"Y-yeah." I followed, before looking back at Alex.

"What're you looking at?" Alex glared. Shoot, he caught me staring.

"N-nothing." I managed to say.

"Whatever, let's just get this over with." He sounded annoyed. "My house is a few blocked away from school. We can walk from here. Follow me." I nodded in response and followed closely behind as he started walking ahead of me.
