Evan's POV

Dave and I were having breakfast in the kitchen while Alex and Max watched football in the living room. I took this as my chance to speak. "Dave?" He looked up from his bowl of cereal with his mouth filled and a single brow arched. "I don't think I'm feeling too well."

"What do you mean? What's wrong?" He asked after swallowing.

"About the party, I'm not really feeling up to it." Dave looked at me with a sad expression.

"Why all of a sudden? Did something happen?"

"No, it's nothing. I just don't think I'll have fun is all. I don't usually go to these things," I replied in a meek voice.

"That's fine. I won't force you to go or anything." He sounded really disappointed and guilt washed over me. This is for the best. I wanted to avoid Alex as best as I could, and not going to that party may help me.

A party filled with hundreds of people...yeah. What are the chances I'll even run into him?

Time Skip

What I am doing here is beyond me. Somehow, someway, I ended up at the party. I don't even know how it happened. The worse part is, I lost everyone, and by everyone, I mean the people I came with. As soon as we reached, Alex and Max went their own way. Dave stayed with me for a bit, but I turned my back for one second and he was gone.

I felt like a fish out of water. I can barely hear myself think with how loud the music was blasting. I tried to make my way to a corner so as to avoid all the dancing bodies pushing and grinding themselves against anything that moved.

This was a really big house, or mansion, should I say. I tried to focus on a path, but the colorful flashing lights made it really hard to do so, and the next thing I know, I bounced into someone. "I am so sorry!" I apologized quickly. The figure looked down at me and smiled.

"It's okay," he reassured, while giving me a once over. I suddenly felt really self conscious and folded my arms. "What's your name?"

"I'm Evan," I said shyly.

"You wanna get out of here for a bit? It's really loud." Did I? Yes, I did. The only problem is that I don't know him. Should I really go with him? "Don't worry," he chuckled. "We're not going anywhere. We'll just be upstairs. It's more quiet."

"I guess," I bit my lip hesitantly. It should be okay since we'll be surrounded by people.

"Cool, c'mon." He grabbed my hand and led me up the stairs, took a right turn and into an unoccupied room, before looking the door. "Just to make sure no one comes staggering in half naked or anything," he chucked. I laughed nervously.

"I don't think I can stay for long. My friend's probably looking for me," I explained.

"That's okay. I won't keep you too long." He patted a spot on the bed he was currently sitting on. I made my way over slowly, and sat a good distance away from him. "How're you enjoying the party so far?"

"It's okay. I'm not really used to these kind of things," I muttered.

"I can tell," he laughed. "You seemed really tense. Do you want a drink"? He offered.

"No thanks. I don't drink," I politely declined.

"C'mon, it'll help you relax, I promise," he smiled sweetly. I always had a tough time saying no to people, and that was a huge problem I had.

"I don't know, I should really be looking for my friend," I told him.

"Awe, so soon? I'll let you go after a drink, how does that sound?" He waved his red cup in front of my face in a teasing manner. I bit my lip nervously and slowly took the cup.

"I guess it wouldn't hurt," I gave in lamely. He smiled excitedly. I took a small sip of alcohol and made a disgusted face. "This doesn't taste very good."

"Don't worry, it tastes better the more you drink," he chuckled. I shrugged my shoulders and took a big gulp. "There you go, you're getting the hang of it," he stated proudly.

"How strong is this?" I laughed. I was already started to feel a buzz in my head.

"Not too strong. Just enough to make you relax," he replied, scooting closer to me. I should probably stop drinking, as I have a low tolerance for alcohol, but I decided to gulp down the last of it's contents.

The more time that passed, the more dizzy I became. I was started to lose my vision, and everything was beginning to look distorted. I moaned in pain as a headache started to take over, and put a hand to my head while closing my eyes. I decided to get up, but stumbled back onto the bed.

"It's okay, I got you," I heard him whisper into my ear. Honestly, I could hardly remember where I was. All I wanted to do was sleep. I closed my eyes as he pulled me to the center of the bed and hovered over me. I was breathing heavily as I felt hands touch my body.

A/N: Hey guys. So I know I said I wasn't going to include anything graphic in this story, but I'm weak, so I will give you 2 options.

In option number one, I'll include rape in chapter 22. It'll be quite graphic, so I'll put a warning beforehand. You can skip the whole chapter completely and not miss out on any of the plot.
I will also have chapter 23 posted at the same time, so for the ones who don't want to read chapter 22, you can skip to chapter 23. It starts the morning after the party.

Second option, if you really really don't want me to include any rape in this story, I understand and will write about something else. It's okay.

What's your choice? Option 1 or 2? If you have any other suggestions, please leave in down in the comments section.
