I wiped the my hands on the apron and checked the time on my wristwatch again. My three hours will soon be up and Jason hadn't called to tell me he was here. We finally upgraded to three hours when Jason was sure that I'd be okay. I wiped the sweat off my brow and moved closer to the door to check if Jason is here and is waiting for me or something.

I got to the door and  opened it and no one was there. Okay this is getting weird and I'm getting worried. This is the third time this week that this has happened. The last two times I went home by myself. Not that I'm complaining, but anytime I get home Jason would be like 'Oh! You are back?' Or 'Has it been three hours already!'.

He has been absentminded since this week and I don't know the cause. Sometimes he'd get angry at people,never at me. Once, I caught him saying something like 'I don't want to lose her too'. He was repeating the words over and over again. I just hugged him deeply and that seemed to calm him down.

I went back inside and closed the door behind me.

''He's not here today?'' Bridget asked as she was rolling the dough. From her voice,I knew she was worried.

I shook my head as removed the apron and kept it in the hamper.

Something is clearly going on with Jason and I don't know what. I don't even know how to or if I can help him and that's making me feel bad. Very bad.

''I'm sorry honey'' Bridget said. She left what she was doing and came to stand in my front.

''Maybe you should ask him what's wrong. I'm sure he'll tell you''

Maybe that's what I'll do. I looked at her in appreciation.

''Thanks Bridget. Um... Can I go now. There are not much people here. I can stay if you...''

''Oh! Don't worry yourself honey. I've got it covered'' She cut me off as she went back to what she was doing.

I looked at her, unsure because Avery didn't come to work today. Zayn was not feeling well.

''I could stay and help'' I told her as I went towards her. Jason can wait. Not really,but I think she needs my help here.

''Don't worry honey. I'll soon close the shop. I have places to be'' She wiped off the flour on her face with the end of the apron.

''Alright. I'll see you later'' I told her. I kisses her cheek and took my purse.

I was heading towards Jason's office because that's were he usually stays by this time of the day.

I was about to open the door to the office when Beta Andrew, Some pack warriors, Derek( who I found out last week was the Delta. In order words,pack warrior' leader). They all barged out of the room at the same time and closed the door behind them, quickly.

Okaaay...

What's  going on? I something dangerous there and where is Jason?

''What's going on?'' I asked in a low voice, so as not to startle them because they were not aware that I was there.

They all turned to look at me. Beta Andrew was about to answer when I head a very loud bang from the office. I winced and looked at it. Is something dangerous there or is it...is it Jason?

I turned rapidly to Andrew.

''What's going on in there? Is Jason there?'' I said trying to get past him to go into the office. He blocked my way and looked at me in concern.

''Um... Something happened and Jason   got mad'' He simply said.

Okay?

''So, what happened?''

He looked at me in shock and explained further. ''When Jason is angry, he gets...gets destructive?''

He looked surprise that I didn't know that piece of information. As if it was a daily occurrence. I've never seen Jason mad and destructive.

Oh my gosh! I remember. The day I was bored and decided to wash Jason's cloth,he thought I left him, so he destroyed the room that day. We had to stay in another room.

I looked at Andrew. ''It just happened once,he thought I left him''

Andrew nodded his head.'' So that's why we are standing here. Don't worry though, nothing in there can injure him. it's Jason-proofed'' He joked as if trying to make me smile.

It did a little bit in calming me down though. I know that we are werewolves and as an Alpha, Jason heals faster. So I'm not that worried. I am.

I can't let him stay there. He might calm down when he sees me. If not, I'll do everything possible to calm him down.

''I'm going in'' I said and tried to get past Andrew. I know it's funny. The big bad men are outside while the small fragile girl wants to play hero. It can only happen in novels, but I can do it.

Andrew looked at me as if I've grown horns. ''Um... I don't think it's,I'm not sure you...'' He trailed off,as if he does not want to say it and hurt my feelings.

''No problem. I'm he's mate and he might calm down'' I said,whispering the might. I don't want them to know I have doubts in what I want to do. They were very reluctant in letting me go in and I love that about them. About this pack. They care.

I moved to the door and breathed in and out. Another loud bang was heard and I tried not to flinch at the sound. Followed by another and another.

I opened the door and entered it,closing it behind me and leaning on it. The room was upside down. Everywhere was so scattered that there was no place to step on. Thank goodness that the desk is still okay.

I looked at Jason,he was sweating profusely,breathing heavily and from his face you'd know that he is angry. Very angry.He was muttering something that I couldn't hear so I listened very well.

''Can't... Fucking...Her'' Those were the only things I could hear from all the noise.

He moved to the desk and flipped it,then he began to stomp it.

Uh-oh!

Think fast Kenzie, do something.

I moved closer to Jason,stepping on everything that was on the floor. He has not still noticed my presence.

''Hey,Jay. It's me. Can you look at me?'' I asked hopefully.

He was raising the chair up to break it,but paused in mid air when he heard my voice. He turned slowly to look at me. His eyes black.

Oh fudge! His wolf was in control. What happened must really be bad. An Alpha's wolf only take's full control when a situation is out of hand. When a werewolf's eyes are black,the wolf is in full control.

I gulped and looked at him with what I think was confidence. I can do this.

Jason or rather Jason's wolf dropped the chair and started making He's way towards me. I stood tense because I don't know what to expect. But as far as he is a part if Jason, I have nothing to fear.

He stood in front of me,breathing heavily. Then his hand reached out to me as if he wanted to touch my face.

''Blue'' He said,his eyes turning soft. His voice was deeper and it was gruffier than Jason's.

I swallowed my spit.

''What is blue!''

''Your eyes. I like it'' He told me,his hand still hanging on air. I took it in Mike and held it tightly. There's nothing to be afraid of. He's a part of Jason.

Jason's wolf looked at  his large hands that were clasped in mine and his eyes turned softer,if that was possible.

''I like this'' He replied,still looking at our hands.

''Me too. What is um your name?'' I asked when I remembered that I didn't know his name.

''It's Koda'' He answered finally looking at me.

''Koda. I love it'' I smiled at him.

He was just staring at me in... Admiration. As if I was some jewel or something.

''Koda,can you tell me what made you mad?'' I asked him. He grew tense in and his eyes grew hard,the softness was no longer there and I don't like it.

''They threatened us'' He answered,voice deeper than before. I knew the 'us' he was referring to was himself and Jason.

''Who threatened you?''

How can someone threaten Jason. From what I've heard,this pack is one of the strongest,so who has the guts to threaten Jason.

Koda's eyes started changing from black to brown and I knew Jason was trying to take over. There were deep furrows in Koda's brows,he was trying to stop Jason from taking over.

''I promise to talk to you later. I'll ask Jason'' I promised.

He looked at me unsure,then he nodded his head. He was not much of a talker.

I kissed his cheek and he blushed. I smiled at that and did it again, but when I looked up it he's eyes were back to normal. It was Jason.

He pulled me to his chest and embraced me deeply.

Okay,not that I'm complaining, but what's going on.

I couldn't talk or breathe because of how tight Jason was hugging me so I tapped his thigh.

He pulled me back a little to give me breathing space,but he didn't leave me entirely.

''What's wrong Jay?'' I asked him,but he just growled a little and pushed me back into his chest. What happened must have really been bad for Jason to be this way.

I tapped his thigh again when I couldn't breathe and he pulled back.

''Answer me Jay. I'm worried about you and what you are doing is scaring me'' I said sincerely. Its the truth. I've never seen Jason like this before and I don't know what happened to make him this way or what to do to help him.

''Threatened me'' He growled.

Okay. Koda said the same thing.

''Who threatened you? What happened?'' I asked quickly.

''That bastard'' He bellowed and moved away from me to start hitting stuffs again. He was about to bend down and pick up something again, but I held him.

''Hey, it's okay. It's okay'' I raised him up and put my hands on his cheeks,forcing him to look at me. It helped a little to reduce his anger,but it was still there. I want his anger yo be gone completely. So I did something. I don't know why I did it,but I did it.

I kissed Jason.

He froze at first as if very surprised that I kissed him. Then suddenly he started kissing me back. He tasted warm,so I leaned into him and enjoyed the closeness and connection that he was giving to me.

I wrapped my arms around his neck,wanting to get even closer to him. A growl leaves his throat and his grip on me became tighter.

I finally drew back when I was out of breath and I looked everywhere,but at Jason.

Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh. I kissed Jason.

I wanted to squeal and scream so loud ,but I cleared my throat instead. I must look like a tomato right now.

Jason put his hand on my cheek and made me look at him. When I did,he pecked my lips.

''Damn love,you don't know how long I've been wanting to do that'' His voice hoarse.

Fudge! I love his voice.

''Me too. I didn't know it'll be like this'' I told him. Yeah! I never expected kissing Jason to be like that. live fantasized and even dreamed about it,but this was more than I expected.

''Can you tell me what's wrong?'' I asked. He's calm now so...

''Someone threatened to take you away from me,but it's not possible'' Jason growled.

I froze at that. Darn! I thought I was safe. There was only one person that could possibly do that and that is because uncle,I'm not sure if anyone else knows me. I knew he'd find me,but this is so soon.

''You know I'd protect you,right? You trust me,right?'' Jason asked,more liked begged me to trust him,but I already do.

''With my life. I trust you with my life,Jason. I know my uncle won't harm me'' I said and relaxed in his arms. Jason is here.

He looked at me surprised that I figured out who the said 'Bastard' was.

''That sonofabitch won't harm you love. I swear'' His eyes were serious.

I nodded my head at him and hugged him. I'm safe here. He can't hurt me again. Jason is here.

''To protect you,I'll need you to stay with me at all times. You won't stay alone and I'll have some pack guards follow you everywhere you go'' He said with all seriousness.

Great! Back to square one. Just what I need.

''Is that really necessary. I mean I'm in your pack and my uncle is not here'' I don't even know the point I'm trying to make,I just want him to remove that rule.

''No. That bastard won't get you. You'll stay with me every fucking minute of the day''.

Okay! That's final.

I sighed and hugged him tighter. We will be fine one day. Free from all these troubles. One day.

We stayed like that for a long time with Jason muttering 'I'll protect you' over and over again. When my brain finally came back from it's journey of thoughts,my eyes focused back on the office. I quickly moved away from his embrace and looked at Jason with angry eyes.

''Jason you don't break things, I mean, destroy things because you are mad. I know you can't help it,but you just wasted a lot of things. Do you know that most people don't have these stuff that you damaged?'' I rambled. I don't like when things waste because I've lived in abject poverty before I met Jason. So I understand that not everyone has these things.

Jason looked at me,then round the room. His eyes went big as if he was just seeing it for the first Time.

''I'm sorry love. I can't help it,I've always been like this,but I'll try for you'' He reassured. I relaxed at his words. He'll try for me. I love that.

I nodded my head at him and bent down to start arranging things,but stopped when I felt Jason's hand on my arm.

''Yes?'' I looked up at him.

He paused his lips and looked at me as if contemplating if he should say what he wants to say or not.

''Listen love. Listen very carefully okay'' He said with all seriousness.

I nodded my head and focused all my attention on him. What's wrong again?

''I don't care if you are mad,upset or angry at me. I don't want you to call me Jason,again. My name is Jay or baby or sweetheart or,or whatever name you want to call me,okay?'' He said,he was not smiling at all.

I looked at him in shock. I don't know if I should laugh or just shake my head.

''But that's your name'' I said with a small laugh.

''Yeah. It's my name to everybody,but not to you'' He said with a small frown.

''Answer me love,just tell me you understand. That's all''

''I understand'' I replied,still smiling.

''Say it like you mean it,love''

''I understand, Jay''

That got a smile out of him and his smile made me happy.

I was picking up some files when someone knocked on the door and when Jason said 'enter',Andrew came in.

''Alpha,some people are looking for you. They said that they are from the Green moon pack. They are waiting at the borders,Sir'' He said looking at Jason and round the office.

Wait a minute! I've heard the name of that pack before. I gasped as I remembered.

Oh my God! That is BFG's parents pack name. What are they doing here.

Jason and Andrew must've heard my gasp because they both turned to look at me.

''You know them,love?'' Jason asked,confused.

I shook my head slowly,still not sure of what to think or do.

''Not really. That is BFG's former pack's name and his parents were the Alpha and Luna. So those people might be his parents'' I said. What the fudge are they doing here after abandoning him and almost killing. Oh! and don't forget about making him loose his voice.

I was getting angrier by the minute.

''Andrew tell them to wait there and mind link Caleb and possibly Jasmine to come up here'' Jason ordered.

Andrew nodded his head and before he left he gave me a thumbs up. I calmed Jason after all.

I smiled at him,but my mind was not there. It was on the situation on ground.

BFG's Parents.

I was so anxious. I don't know what to expect. I started pacing round the room,maybe it'll calm my nerves or something. I was pacing when Jason held my shoulders and hugged me to his chest. This feels nice.

I burrowed myself deeper into his chest. It didn't take up to three minutes when we heard a knock.

I turned to face the door and BFG entered, all smiles and my heart broke to pieces again.

'Hi Ken,oh my God. What happened here?' He mind linked,waving his hands and looking round the room in shock. I think he said something to Jason too because Jason nodded his head.

I tried to smile at him and maybe reply back,but it was kind of hard.

''Hi. How are you?'' I managed to ask,ignoring his question about the office. I think he knew something was wrong because his face changed.

'Um, I'm okay. Is something wrong?' He asked, worried.

What do I say?

I looked to Jason for help and Jason nodded his head at me.

''Um,your parents are here'' He blurted out.

Great! Way to go,Jason. Just rip the bandage off.

I elbowed him in his side, hard and he winced.

I looked at BFG to see his face whiter than normal. His hands were shaking and he almost wobbled over if Jason hadn't rushed to his side and held him up.

My vision blurred as tears rolled down my cheeks. Fudge! Where is Jasmine when you need her?

'Jasmine, where are you?' I mind linked her.

'Hi to you too and I'm almost in my room. Why?' She replied.

'Can you come to Jason's  office. It's urgent. Caleb is here too' I rambled at once.

'Calm down. What's wrong. Is Caleb sick? He didn't tell me' She asked,very worried.

'Um, no he's not sick. He's, uh,he's parents are here'

I heard a very loud growl from outside and I knew it was Jasmine.

'Jasmine'

'Jasmine!'  I called again,but hot no reply.

Oh my gosh! Let it not be that she went in search of them.

'Jasmine, don't go there. Caleb needs you. He's not doing so well' Please don't go there yet.

I looked at BFG to see him almost wheezing,but there was no sound. Jasmine where are you?

She must've ran all the way here because the door opened with a loud bang,it was barely hanging to it's hinges.

Jason huffed and looked at the door,but kept quiet. They'll have to repair that one with others.

Jasmine ran to BFG and hugged him to her chest. He buried his face in her neck and breathed in. Jasmine started whispering something to him and I could only hear stuff like 'I'm here for you' and 'I love you', 'they can't hurt you anymore'.

I wiped my tears as I looked at them. Fudge! I want that to be me and Jason one day.

Ten minutes later, Caleb was already breathing fine,but his face was still buried in Jasmine's neck.

He raised his head and looked at  Jasmine when she whispered something to him. Jasmine wiped his face with her palms. She whispered something to BFG again and he nodded his head,while wiping off the tear stains from her face.

They both turned to look at me and Jason and Jasmine spoke. Her eyes were bloodshot red and her face was kind of red too.

''He,uh, he'll see them,but he's not going with them'' She said.

I won't let him go too. Jason nodded his head and looked at BFG.

''Can I speak with you for a few minutes?''

BFG nodded his head and they both started mind linking. I pulled Jasmine to the side and embraced her.

''Are you okay?'' I asked as she placed her head on my chest.

''I don't know'' Her voice broke. ''I don't know how to help him,Ken''

''Hey. You've helped him already. Just be stay with him and hold his hands. We will show those bastards that we are his family and we love him'' I told her with anger in my voice.

''Yeah. We can do that'' She raised up her head and her upper lip twitched a
