When we had arrived home, John sternly sent everyone off to bed. I watched Rory place a sleeping Aspen in her bed that was made with extra sheets and a blanket from the closet, because hers was still clicking in the dryer. I began to walk in there but was stopped by a hand on my shoulder.

"Let her be, she needs to rest." John spoke in a whsiper. "I was just gonna say i was sorry." I answer. He shakes his head. "I know you but it can wait till morning. Its bedtime."

I nod and head off to bed, sniffling. I must of been loud because I glare up to see a small figure in my doorway. "Roe?" Aspen asks soft. "Yes?" I reply snifflining.

"Can I snuggle with you?" "Sure baby" i answer reaching out my arms to have them feel with warmth from Aspen crawling in my bed. "Im so sorry Aspy." I told her as she snuggles deep in my chest. "I know you didnt mean it. I love you." "I love you too"

The sun shined through my window and brightened over Aspens sleeping body. I gently untangle myself from her grip and head off to the bathroom and examine my arss.

Dark purple with rising bruises and a belt welt covered it.

I deserved it. From now on Id be watching my mouth. It hurt worse than my thrashing from getting drunk. Provably cause I struck a nerve.

I head off downstares and see John and Rory relaxing on the couch, watching TV. I join them, my ass burning from the fabric. I wince, gaining Johns attention.

"Hurt?"

I nod. "Yes sir."

"Good, thats a reminder not to blurt the first thing that comes to mind."

I nodded again, still wincing.

John called me over and I slowly walj toward him.

"Lemme examine. Drop your pants." Embarrassed, I slid down my pajmamas and heave over his knees as he pats my bum and rubs it, looking over his damage.

"Rory go gimme some lotion." My embarrassment grew as Rory handed him baby lotion and he pumped some on his palm.

The sudden coldness caused me to scream, gaining a sharp 'shush!'. I whined but eventually the coldness helped the pain.

John pulled up my bottoms and hugs me. "I hate spanking you guys but you have to learn. Goes to you too Rory. And Aspen."

"Yes sir." Rory and I agreed.

And with that, I sat down and watched TV with my brothers, watching the morning go by.
