~*~*~*~*

My joints ached. I was being squished by three men in a car that was too small for too long. I tried to readjust my self as I sat and wandered, how will I get myself out of this shenanigan this time? The farther and farther away Gomez drove away from my home, the further my heart felt as thought it were being stretched along with it. My soul, my heart and memories all still remained there. My mother and uncle were there. Nate was there. My demons were there. Everything that I was and that I had become, I was leaving behind, and it was all for nothing.

Any sort of longing, or diluted feelings I had somewhat possessed for Luther had completely slipped away like a drop of blood in a rushing river. He wasn't the same person he was seven months ago, back in the gloomy October. Was it because of his time in the prison hospital? The amphetamines? My eyes narrowed as I thought of the final explanation. Brams. He was trying to make me believe he was being open with me about his past, being brutally honest about his intentions. And then he has the audacity to accuse me of being just as twisted as the four of them were, and then accused me of practically being an apostate. I didn't like Brams. And he didn't like me.

But what would he say to Luther about me? Or what did he say to him already? Because if I knew Luther, there was one thing in the entire world that he loved more than he thought he loved me. And that was murder.

If Brams had his own agenda, and a grand mastermind plan from the very beginning, then perhaps he had used Luther to escape the prison, and lead him to believe that I wasn't worth it, so he could use Luther as his personal puppet for his future plans. Perhaps Brams would even go as far as to kill me to make sure I didn't get in the way of Luther's feelings. I didn't have him completely figured out yet. It would take time, but I would. I bet my life on it.

At some point in the night, I had dozed off and fallen asleep, at what time, I had no idea. All I knew was that I awoke with the morning sun shining in through the car windows and had my head resting on Luther's boney shoulder.

Jack was helping Gomez navigate up front with a large map he had sprawled out on his lap.

I rubbed my eyes as I sat up and tried to adjust my mind as to what was going on.

"You have to take the next exit, Gomez; you need to fill up on gas or else you won't make it to the next town to do it."

"I can do it hermano, once the light starts blinking, you still got another 20 miles!" Gomez argued.

"Bullshit!" Dennis exclaimed from the back.

I let out a sigh and rolled my eyes as I tuned in more to the lovely wake up call that I had received. "What's the deal here?" I whispered to whomever would listen.

"Gomez doesn't want to stop for gas at the next station," Luther explained to me in an almost sardonic tone of voice. "But we're gonna run out of gas if we don't."

Brams leaned forward in his seat. "Come on, Lopez, use your fuckin' head, we are gonna run out in the middle of the damn road if we don't get a gotdamn move on."

"First of all, my name is Gomez, not Lopez, and secondly-"

"I have to pee," I interrupted.

All of the bickering taking place in the car suddenly came to a cease, leaving our ears with nothing but the sound of the tires against the road. Gomez then let out an aggravated sigh and glared at me through the rearview mirror as he flicked on his blinker and exited the highway, muttering Spanish curses under his breath all the while.

"Five minutes," he spat through grit teeth as he pulled into the first gas station he saw.

With a slight attitude, I opened the car door and climbed over Luther as I slid out. "Or what?" I muttered.

As I sauntered over to the unisex bathroom on the side of the building, I looked down at my clothes, my white tee-shirt all dirty and tattered, my hair an absolute crispy mess. I looked over my shoulder at Gomez filling up the tank with gas as the others got out to stretch. My eyes locked with Luther's emerald ones for a brief moment before Brams stepped in front of him and cast me a cold glare. I rolled my eyes and turned my head back around as I rounded the corner around the gas station to enter the rest room.

Upon entering, I scrunched my nose up into a cringe as I observed the scene before me. Spots of the concrete floor were drenched in puddles of water, or at least I hoped it was water, and bits of toilet paper and the bathroom's paper towels were strewn all over the place. Sighing, I tried my best to squat and do my business in the disgusting toilet that lay in there.

Once I was finished, I made my way over to the grungy mirror that hung over a rusted sink and took a good long look at myself. I carefully splashed some water onto my face and under arms, then tried my best to put my hair up into a ponytail. I washed my hands thoroughly and walked out of the gross bathroom.

I opened the door and began to walk back over the terrible car they had brought me there in. As I was walking, a voice behind me caused me to come to a complete stop.

"Well well well," he spoke. I stopped dead in my tracks as I furrowed my brows and turned my head to look over my shoulder. Once I saw who it was, a small gasp escaped my lips. "Long time no see, Ava Wave."

"Sean..." I breathed. "You're alive?"

"Of course I am," he snapped while he snatched my wrist into his hand and yanked me along the opposite way of where I was heading. "You don't think I've endured worse during my time with Taco than a bullet to the foot? Please."

He didn't sound angry, just more of a tone as though he didn't want to be there, like a goth at a Taylor Swift concert on a hot day. I wandered where he was taking me, why he was taking me, but I didn't resist. Nothing could've been worse than traveling with Brams and Gomez, Luther being completely uninterested in me or anything we were doing.

"Don't you dare fuckin' scream," Sean rasped. He pulled a gun out of his back jean pocket and held it out for me to observe. I stared at it, completely un-phased. I knew he wouldn't shoot me. There was something he needed me for. And there aren't many useful you could do with a dead girl.

I lifted my eyebrows as I looked up into my captor's cold, blue eyes. "Trust me, I definitely was not planning on it."

He tossed me a suspicious glance before leading me over to a fancy looking black car and opening the back door for me to step inside of. Just as I was climbing inside of it, I heard somebody call my name.

"Ava!" A creaking voice called. I looked behind my shoulder to see that Luther had rounded the corner to come look for me, only seeing me climb into a car with Sean.

"Shoot him!" A voice from inside the car shouted. Before I could even look to see who it was, I saw Sean raise the gun and open fire in the same direction as Luther.

"No, stop!" I screamed. I tried to lower Sean's gun, put he resisted to the point of elbowing me in the chest, knocking the wind out of me.

Gun shots started to ring into my general direction. I opened my eyes to see that Luther had pulled out his own gun and was firing back at us. I screamed as Sean began to shoot back.

"Get her in the fucking car!" the same voice from within shouted at Sean again. Sean covered me as he shoved me into the open car door and hopped in with me as he shut the door behind him, bullets hitting the it all the while.

I was flung forward against the seat as the car took off and pulled out of the gas station. I looked out the window to see my original group of captors begin to pile into their run down car and attempt to catch up with us, but we were out of sight by the time they had even started the engine.

I straightened myself up and buckled my seat belt as I looked at who was driving the vehicle. To no shock, his brown eyes looked into mine, violating me all over again. I shifted them downwards.

"Well, hello there, Ava Wave," he rasped. "So nice to see you on such lovely circumstances."

"Yeah well, you're the one who kidnapped me, RJ," I spat back at him. "You're the only reason why there's now bullets in your nice new car."

"Am I?" he questioned, keeping his eyes on the road.

The person sitting in the passenger seat turned around to face me, for I hadn't seen who was sitting there yet. My heart nearly jumped out of my throat. In my mind, questions felt like they were all being answered, but at the same time, so many more flooded in. I sat there, wide eyed and speechless, waiting for him to say something. But no words were spoken.

"Nate...?" I breathed.

Nate bit his lip and lifted an eyebrow, his chocolate eyes melting into mine.

"Surprise."

~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Sorry it's been like a month! Finals murdered me and then as soon as school got out, my band went to Disney land to perform there and blah.

Funny story,

At the airport when we first arrived, all of us were walking in a line on our way to checking, and there was some old guy trying to get through us, but it was obviously not going to happen. When he finally realized this, he stood back and just said, "ah, a wall of human flesh." right as I was walking by๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚I died of laughter for like 10 minutes omg it was hilarious.

Then on the bus back to our hotel one night, a bunch of Vietnamese kids got on the bus and just screamed, "WHITE PEOPLE!" As they sat down. Same.

And when we first arrived in LA, since it was the week of vidcon, there were some you tubers there and we got our picture with some of them and were featured in their vlog! is the link! When you see people wearing the EHS pep band shirts, that's us ;)

Anyways, another update is on the way so stay tuned! I'm also starting a Bucky Barnes fanfic so if any of you are into marvel, it will be on my main account in a few days!
