"... My back is still tender, however. Oh! H-hello, Ke'Undre," Kimmy said as she had glanced at Dre.

"Hi," Dre said through a wide grin. I didn't get her killed after all!

"Looks like the gang's all here. Good. Now I can get this news across to everyone quickly," a young woman's voice called out over the buzz of the group. The group gave her their undivided attention. She was a young, beautiful Chinese woman who look like she was in her mid-twenties. Her black, shiny hair was tied into two long pigtails that ended slightly above her shoulders. There was a beauty mark under her left eye. "I am Sakura Kimachi and I will be your group's leader until this year is over. I'd like to explain how exactly this school is ranked. There are four levels of ranks that you can achieve: Apprentice, Entry-Level Journeyman, Voyager-Level Journeyman, and Master. Each level is displayed with these medals," she said as she pulled out a gleaming black acrylic box from her black, cotton pants. She raised the lid to display four pentagonal medals sitting comfortably in the padded insides: bronze, silver, gold, and platinum. Each had the shape of a fox's face inside of it. "You will receive your Apprentice medal on the first official day of school, and it will be proof that you've begun your long trek into become the strongest Amian that you can be.

"You have to return to the academy at 3:30 tomorrow to get your medal and schedule. My group will be waiting for you all outside of the school's gate." She handed each of the students two pieces honey drop candy. "Remember to state clearly where you want to go before you eat it before you return, otherwise it won't work. Good luck, and welcome to Reiax Academy," she concluded with a wink as she left through the brown double doors.

Michael stretched as he said, "Well, as much as I love being around freak shows, I'm afraid it's time for us to leave. Until tomorrow." He popped the candy in his mouth before his black eyes closed quickly and his body evaporated.

"Bye-bye!" Keiko said, waving with a big grin on her face. She ate her candy, too, and disappeared with Michael.

"So, how are you feeling, Kim?" Megumi asked.

"I'm still kind of sore, but I think I will live. Mr. and Mrs. Kimachi told me that they had to have two other Amians there to heal me as well as use their own powers. They said it was the worst injury that they had ever witnessed in the entrance exams, but it was nothing that they couldn't handle."

"I'm not surprised," Megumi said with a grin. "But you probably need a lot of rest after that whole ordeal."

"Very much so. I will see you all at school tomorrow," Kim said. She ate the candy and disappeared.

"I am afraid I must be leaving as well." Rose chimed in. "I will see you guys here tomorrow, no?"

"Why, yes you will," Ian winked.

Rose glared at Ian as she popped the candy in her mouth and disappeared without saying goodbye. Ian's eyes were glued to where she once was, perplexed.

"Tried to make your move on her yet?" Dre asked. "Or was that the result of your asking?"

"Shut up," Ian said as he ate the candy.

"Well, let's not leave them waiting," said Megumi.

Dre nodded before he ate his candy, and blacked out again.

Please let me land gently. Please let me land gently. Dre kept repeating in his head as he felt himself flying towards the Gladestone house. Though he couldn't see or move, he could still feel the ground creeping up on him at an alarming rate. It wasn't until then that Dre had thought of something. Whenever he had used the honey drop the first time, he was inside of Megumi's house. In theory, would he have to go through the roof in order to get back into the house?

Oh, God, I am going to die.

He tried his hardest to scream, but he couldn't feel anything come out. He could only sit there while his comatose body hurtled towards Earth and brace himself for impact. Once he saw the light again, he felt his momentum begin to slow down. He was able to open his eyes and once he did, he felt as if he was staring down the barrel of a gun. Directly below him, the house approached him quickly, and it looked as though he was heading, face first, straight through it.

"Oh, God, I'm going to die!" he bellowed as he closed his eyes tightly and covered his head with his arms.

His momentum slowed drastically as he fell through the house and landed as soft as down feathers on the wood-tiled floor. Though he didn't feel himself break through the roof, he refused to uncover himself, fearing that he was actually in heaven, or wherever it was that Amians go after they had died. He was panting as he laid on the floor; his nose caught a familiar scent. Strawberries.

He slowly moved his arms aside and looked up. No hole in the ceiling. He looked down below him. A black carpet and a ginger kitten looking curiously up at him, but no rubble.

"H-Hey Mew-Mew," he said with a forced calm voice as he scratched the kitten's head. "You wouldn't happen to know where your owner is, would you."?" Mew-Mew purred. "I have no idea what I was expecting asking a cat anything."

Mew-Mew meowed as she jumped on Dre's head, and leapt from his head to Megumi's bed. Dre raised himself above Megumi's bed. Aside from the kitten sitting in the middle of the heart staring at the ceiling, it was empty. "What are you looking at?" he asked as he looked up. For a moment he saw nothing. A brief while later, however, he saw a body materialize through the ceiling, where it landed gracefully on the bed. Megumi.

Her large, beautiful blue eyes opened half-way and was staring into Dre's garnet eyes. He felt his heart lurch into his throat as he let himself get lost into her beauty.

"Well, that was slightly adventurous. Mew-Mew!" Megumi gasped, sounding completely overjoyed as the ginger kitten meowed. Megumi place the kitten onto her lap, where it purred as Megumi scratch the top of its head. "This is my darling kitten. Isn't she such a cutie?" she asked him as she held its face up to his. Dre gasped as he saw that its paws were on fire. Small flames, of course, but still enough to be noticeable.

"The heck? Dude, don't pick it up, it's on fire!"

Megumi gave him a perplexed stare. "Oh, she's supposed to do that. Ever heard of a Hell-Cat?" She sounded a bit too devious, as if it was a forbidden kitten.

"No... What is it?"

She slid off of the bed and placed Mew-Mew on top of her head as she began. "Hell-Cats are considered ungodly because they have the ability to breathe fire. They think the cats are evil creatures who feast on children and set fires to people's homes," she explained in an over exaggerated tone. "My dad told me about this. Check it out. Mew-Mew-" She grinned as she pointed at Dre, "Apelef̱theró̱ste to kathartí̱rio pýr!" Mew-Mew's fur stood up before she opened her mouth; a small flame flowed from her mouth towards Dre. He jumped back, tripping on a box beside her bed and crashing on the ground.

"You're so jumpy, dude," Megumi giggled as Mew-Mew's hair began to resettle.

"Oh, excuse me for not trying to get my face burnt off. Nothing gives a better warning of 'My cat that can inexplicably breathe fire is going to attempt to burn your nostril hairs out' than not saying it at all." He scowled as he helped himself up. "Thanks for the heads up, by the way."

"Dude, this one is just a kitten, so it can't produce a strong enough flame."

"And you just happen to keep one like it's a regular house cat," Dre said.

"Yup, just to piss people off." She said with a mischievous grin.
