A little back story for the elements. You're welcome! Happy birthday to them. 5/17/20 :3

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ink had walked into a portal, landing in a pitch black void, lacking anything at all.
Sitting in the middle of the nothingness was one of the god versions of sans. Seraphim sat with his legs crossed, head in his hands.
Ink looked up at the massive skeleton, a little worried as to why he was suddenly summoned. Just what did he need help with?
"Sir?" Ink spoke up nervously, despite lacking emotions. You could feel the worry and nervousness in the void of black.
The god looked down at the artists, tilting his head slightly. "Creation... About time you showed up, I have a task for you."
Ink nervously fiddled with his hands. "What kind if task?"
"You make alternate universes all the time yes? All by yourself? It gets tiring does it not?" The six winged behemoth asked.
Ink nodded. "Yes. I help the creators make them from scratch, but it is rather difficult to do it all my self.. Why do you ask?"
"Well... For the greater good of all that is protected, I figured you'd need a hand.. Someone to take care of the lava in hotlands."
With a snap of his fingers, a tiny, bright orange soul hotter than fire had appeared, floating in front of the artist.
"Someone to take care of the plant life in the underground." A tiny green soul, smelling of fresh cut grass floated next to the previous soul.
"Someone to take care of the weather patterns in each biome." A light blue soul the same color of the sky blew over like a breeze to the other souls.
"And lastly, someone to care for the waters of the marsh." Lastly, a deep blue soul of the coldest waters gently floated over to the previous three.
Inks eyes sparkled in delight at the tiny souls, no younger than a newborn. He held them in the palms of his hands.
"They shall help you with each creation of each new world you are set to make. Making each of them more beautiful than the last...watch over them, teach them well." The god muttered with a slight smile, turning away from the artist to wrap himself in his massive wings.
Ink looked down at the souls and smiled, holding them closer to his chest with a newfound admiration and protection.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"What are you supposed to do with them?" The guardian of dreams asked, looking over the tiny souls in amazement.

Ink shook his head. "Seraphim wanted me to watch over them, teach them the beauty of creation. But.. They need a host of so sort."

"I think I know just the girl." Dream smiled, causing the souls to glow brighter.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Seraphim asked you to do this? I'm so honored!" The woman smiles, holding the souls in the palms of her hands.
Dream and Ink nod, both of them with a smile.
"They're in good hands, tell him I'm thankful for the little babybones." She wipes tears from her eyes as the tiny souls blend in with her deep green one.
She receives hugs from the artist and dream catcher.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Ink smiled with a pencil hanging out of his mouth while he looked over the various drawings of an au called 'Swapfell violet.'

Four little skeletons followed him into the void of nothingness, soon to be filled with life.

"Igniter, I'll need you to see if you can try to start the lava pits of hotland, thank you can do that kiddo?" Ink asks, a tiny skeleton looks up at him and nods with a confident smirk.

The child dressed in red ran to the center of the pits, stomping a foot, causing the white ground to turn red as volcanic rock, a large crack had formed in the center, soon enough hot magma began to rise.

Ink clapped his hands as the lava began to rise at the cliff sides. The small skeleton walking across it as it did not burn his feet or melt him.

"Amazing job! In proud of you!" Ink noogies the babybones, making him groan and he burnt his hand.

"Ouch.. Heh heh. You're a hot head that's for sure, you can make the cliffs however you want. I'll be back to check on you in a bit! Don't ho anywhere!" Ink smiled, leaving the room of heat.

Little Igniter chuckled and puffed out his chest, fire rising off of his finger tips as he walked along with volcanic magma.

~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Octavian? Could you fill the gaps with water?" Ink asks, looking at the smallest babybones, who hid behind him for the longest time.
The meek skeleton made a small squeak and slowly nodded, walking over to the bridge.
Only to fall into the pit and hit his head, he rubbed the gem on his forehead only to tremble and cry.
The empty streams began to fill with vibrant glowing blue water, it being pure and cold.
Waterfalls began to flow as more tears fell down his chubby cheeks, he sniffles and rubs his sockets with his balled fists.
Ink began to worry as the water flowed even higher, beginning to flood the marshlands.
"Woah octi its okay! You're okay!" Ink dives under the water to grab the tiny skeleton, taking him in his arms.
Once out of the water and soaked, Ink sat on the bridge with the small skeleton in his arms, who sniffled and hiccupped into his scarf.
"You did a great job octi! I'm proud of you." Ink smiles and pats the child's back nervously.
"Its okay, you're heart is just a little too big for your body, its okay kiddo!"
The small skeleton wipes his tears and smiles a tiny smile up at the artist, much to the artists relief.
~~~~~~~~~~~~

"Alistair, could you start working on the weather? I need it to be snowy please." Ink continues checking off his list for the au. Little Octavian sat on his shoulders, snoozing with little snores.

The peppy babybones smiles and blows out a gust of cold air, snowflakes fell and piled up on the ground.

He flapped his massive wings, which were far too big for the monster child, causing a blizzard to start.

Ink pulls a snowball out of his eye socket. "That might have been a bit much."

"Oops! Sorry! I'm still getting used to them!" Alistair panics and runs back to Ink's side, folding his massive wings behind him.

Ink chuckles and oats his head. "Its alright kiddo, the storm will settle soon."

"Now, let's get to the ruins." They each nod, letting Igniter take the lead and melt the snow around him, creating dirty paths.

~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Aspen, could you add vines please?  And a few trees?" Ink checks the final box off his list.
Aspen nods his head, the bulbs on his head bouncing as he ran to the center of the room. He took his boots off and ran along the ruins.
Many golden flowers bloomed and rose out of the ground as he ran joyfully.
Vines began to grow wildly, crawling up the violet walls of the ruins.
Aspen smiled and plopped next to ink, admiring his work as he put his shoes back on.
Ink rest a hand on his shoulder. "Amazing job as always!"
Aspen smiled up at the artist, poking his non nose, making a rainbow flower bloom upon it.
The two of them had laughed.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Many more AU's had been created after that, amazing the monsters that lived in them all.

All was well until the destroyer began to tear apart each of them, claiming them all to being mistakes despite being an au himself.

"Ink I know you're hiding something from me! How else are you making these blasted glitches so fast!?"

Ink held up his paint brush in defence. "I'm not telling you! I was sworn to protect them and the AU's!"

The battles between the two had gotten worse and worse, Ink barely winning the fights, his body was lined with cuts from the cables.

Ink laid on his back from behind knocked back with a final blow from the glitched destroyers fist.

His body lined with cuts and bruises, marrow leaked from the wounds as he coughed up blood.

"Just give up! You're weak, just admit that and die already!"  The destroyer began to cackle, about to raise a fist to set off the blasters that surrounded the artist.

The blaster was destroyed with a ball of blazing fire. "What!? " The destroyer yelled in anger.

A tall skeleton dressed in red and gold landed in front of him with fire blazing off his fists, his eyes burning like embers.

Another landed next to him, vine like whips swished from the aides of his head, his forest green eyes narrowed with a desire to protect.

A winged one landed next to him, its wings large and spread to shield shield the artist behind him. His sky blue eyes twitching with anger.

The last one rises from the water, his ocean blue's pierced the destroyer's soul, he could feel the coldness like he was at the bottom of the ocean its self.

"So.. You're his little pets that made all of this.. Just so you know I'm not going down without a fight!"

Each of their left eyes burned with hot magic of vengeance as they lunged for him.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The destroyer had entered a dark castle, his bones lined with third degree burns, a thorned vine was wrapped around his throat, he was soaked, and he had scars from talons over his right socket.
"You look like you've had a bad day." Nightmare chuckled.
"Shut up..." Error muttered and sulked up to his room.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The forces of nature continued to watch over the alternate universes, keeping them protected no matter the cost.

The artists was always by their side, even if he was far shorter than them.

End. I hope you enjoyed.
