Fear x reader since for some reason everyone has a crush on him.

I learned that from the questions chapter. :3 I can't remember if I used the pic above or not. Oh well.

Btw: It's not just Hallow who's changed, I'm working on their redesigns rn. ;)

Ever since you could remember you've had a bad case of Arachnophobia.

Spiders freaked you out, all those eyes burning into your soul, all of those gross hairy legs.. The fangs always waiting to sink into your veins to bleed you dry, the poison taking over you and leaving you numb while they crawled over you.

It was a common fear, not everyone loved spiders, not like Hallow did. Hallow was your bat eared friend who had a pet tarantula.

He would quickly hide her away in his room before you would come over, you've only seen her once and she gave you a panic attack.

It didn't matter if she had a pink bow or not.

Cupid had to calm you down, each of your friends helped you through your panic attacks. All but one.

Sebastian was their sixth roommate, his nickname was Fear, which was odd. There was nothing to fear from him as far as you knew.

You've only encountered him once or twice, he was a short skeleton monster, wearing a navy blue trenchcoat with a red turtleneck underneath it. Grey pants and a soft comfortable pair of boots.

Why was he called fear though? You had no idea. He seemed normal enough, you couldn't tell what kind of hybrid he was either.

Everyone in the mansion was spliced with something, Cupid an angel, Hallow a bat, Coby a lamia, Asher a wolf, and Lockheart a fallen angel.

But what was Fear?

He had fanged lips, hiding his teeth. Two lavender eyes that seemed to always be judging you mentally.

He also had this strange symbol on his forehead, which was almost hourglass shaped.

He mostly kept to himself, reading in the quietness of his room, sipping a cup of tea while he read the various books he had.

He didn't talk much, but when he did he had a soft British voice, it was slightly creepy.

Anytime you would try and speak to him, he would step away from you and leave the room.

Maybe he didn't like humans? Or did he just hate you? Their mother was slightly human, just with horns.

Was it something you said?

"Don't worry about him too much, he's always been like that! I swear we don't even notice he lives here sometimes!" Cupid would say trying to cheer you up with a pat on the back.

Fear always struck an interest in you, you wanted to know everything about the cute little shortie of the house.

You decided to try and speak with him today, get to know him a bit better.

After Jasper gave you a small tour, he had led you to Fear's bedroom door. It was navy blue with a silver handle, old fashioned with a F on in the center of the door.

A shiver went down your back at the fake spider hanging from the bottom of the F, with a little webbing.

Maybe his name was Fear because he could be creepy? He would always sneak into rooms without you knowing, there was always an odd tapping sound above you, but Cupid told you it was just the house settling or it was Hallow hanging from the ceiling fan.

Jasper gave you a reassuring smile before he disappeared into the ceiling again like he always did, leaving the smell of magic and vanilla in his wake.

You take a deep breath in and knocked a few times before putting your arms behind your back.

"Who is it?" You hear him ask from the other side of the door, was he close or not? It was hard to tell with that soft voice of his.

"Its y/n. I just wanted to speak with you over a cup of tea perhaps?" You ask, knowing well he had a tea set in his room.

You hear a weird cracking sound it sounded like breaking spaghetti noodles. What on earth was that?

After a few clicks, his door was open, he stood there with his arms crossed. "What kind of tea would you like miss y/n?"

"I'll let you surprise me." You smile, adding a very light lavender to his cheeks.

He shakes his head. "Dealers choice then? Alright. Make yourself at home, just.. Please don't touch anything expensive looking."

He steps aside for you to walk in as he closes the door behind you, then he walks over to a small table in the center of his room.

Tea already waiting for you to drink it, its smell was sweet like sugar yet calming like fallen leaves.

His room was nice, very nice. It looked like an old fashioned library, many shelves lined the walls with books sorted by color.

His bed was made neatly with dark purple sheets and spider webbed themed pillows, which made you wince.

You take a seat at the table in front of him, hands in your lap nervously, wondering what he was thinking. Fear was always hard to read, always having that constant judgemental stare.

One eye brow raised while the other was down, he studied your movements with a calm expression.

The tea was quite good, it wasn't like anything you've had before, must have been a homemade recipe.

He smiled a fanged smile at your expression. "How is it?"

"It's really good!" You take another sip of it after eating one of the cookies that were set out.

He smiles with closed eyes. "I'm glad you think so, after all, a lot of spiders had to die for me to make it."

Your eyes widen.

"You've got a arachnophobia don't you? Its just a joke my dear. Learn to laugh a little." He giggles a hand over his mouth.

Your heartbeat begins to slow down from racing in fear, but your hands still shook nervously.

"Don't look at me like that, my dear. It's made with tea leaves and rose petals from Cupid's garden." He takes a bite of a muffin.

"Although, I must ask, why are you so afraid of a tiny arachnid? They are far more scared of you than you are of them." He asks.

You set your cup down and hug yourself. "I've always hated them, all those eyes just eating me up! Those legs and the hair touching me! They're all going to bite me and lay eggs in my eyes!" You exclaimed with panic.

Fear looked at you for a second, it was quiet for a moment until he bursted into a laughing fit.

You frown and cross your arms. "Its not funny! Its true!"

He wipes a tear. "No it isn't. Not all of them are poisonous, they leave egg sacks in their webs. They only bite humans when threatened. I should know."

You tilt your head. "How would you know?"

He lifts a brow. "I've read about every species I could find a book on. Take the black widow for example, females rarely attack or bite they only do when you try and pick them up or squeeze their abdomens. Their hourglass is a warning, warning you that they are poisonous. However, rarely anyone had died to a widow's bite."

He chuckles and points to the hourglass on his forehead. "This isn't just a birthmark."

Fear steps out of his seat and stands in front of you. "Tell me my dear, how would you react if I told you you've been spending most of your day with a spider that could kill you if it wanted to?"

Your eyes widen. "Did Rosie get on me again?" You panic and brush your hands on your shirt to see if the tarantula had crawled on your back again.

Fear shakes his head. "No, I mean one much bigger than her."

How much bigger can a spider get!? Your skin begins to crawl as a shiver goes down your spine.

Fear smiled, as a second pair of eyes opened above his first pair, their lavender irises stating into yours.

His coat began to shift behind him as a the same cracking sound from earlier filled the room.

Your jaw hit the floor as cold sweat ran down your forehead in utter terror.

Eight spider legs began to unfold from his back, sleek and black, fading to red at the tips.

You began to feel dizzy as he rises from the floor, the legs propping him up as he grinned down at you.

Before you knew it, it had all gone black as you fainted.

"Are you scared of me now?"

End...?
