For the rest of the day, Jungkook and her never mentioned the kiss, although she wanted to, she didn't know how to bring it up. He continued to softly play the guitar with her as they settled to just singing together, and she was content with that but so was he. He too was afraid of bringing up the kiss and the context behind it but he was a little disappointed she never asked.

It was a difficult topic, he knew his two hyungs had already kissed her but that didn't make him want her any less. She was the flower in his life, a small fragile flower that he wanted to protect and hold forever and nothing would change that. Though, loving her wasn't easy, they knew the outcome but like her brother Jaehyun, he didn't want to give up on her. Speaking of Jaehyun.

"Hana" he stopped strumming and paused to look up at her. "Why haven't I seen your brother today? Also I just realized you have a new doctor?" He asked, finally realizing.

Hana slumped into her pillows, a disappointed sigh escaping her mouth. "Oppa isn't allowed to be my doctor anymore."

"Why?" His eyes were wide.

She shifted in the bed before burying her face under the covers. "There's a new law stating Doctors and surgeons are unable to have family members as their patients." She mumbled under the sheets.

"Hana, I can't hear you." He sighed and pulled the cover off to reveal an evident pout on her disappointed face.

"I said, there's a new law in place and Jaehyun isn't allowed to have me as his patient because I'm his sister. Something to do with personal feelings affecting the treatment and procedures because of the relation between us." She closes her eyes and furrows her brows. "Of course, this doesn't just apply to me."

Jungkook felt bad for the girl, her brother was someone she confided in and her only family member who checked up on her on the regular.

"Hana, where are your parents?" He hesitated but asked she stiffened when she heard this.

"My parents, they're always too busy for me. Since I was diagnosed they used to always come and visit but after a while once the news came round that I wasn't going to recover, they slowly stopped trying to see me." she spoke softly, emotion void on her features.

Jungkook couldn't help but clench the fist of his good hand, how could parents stop seeing their precious daughter especially after they find out she'll be like this for the rest of her life? Wouldn't they be more supportive and try to be by her side more?

Noticing Jungkook looking distressed, Hana placed her hand gently on his clenched one which made him release his hold a little. She smiled sweetly at him, "don't worry Kookie, I'm not mad at them. They work very hard for me, to be able to live as comfortably as I can. I don't blame them for not coming to see me, they have good lives to live and seeing me only makes them depressed." She paused rubbing her finger over Jungkook's hand gently until he flips their hands so he's lacing his fingers through hers in a hold. "I love my parents, and I love Jaehyun. I feel very fortunate to have them in my life; Sena, and all the people who have come and gone too, but of course.." she looked up at him, a smile tugging at her lips. "How could I forget all of you."

He held her gaze, his thoughts ran through his head seeing this strong girl try her hardest to stay positive. She was unbelievably moving.

"Thank you Kookie, thank you to all of you for giving me a life worth living for." She bowed her head down, a sad smile on her face.

Jungkook couldn't process this moment, it felt like she was saying sentiments before her goodbye and he couldn't stand that, abruptly he pulled her in for a tight hug, his arms wrapped around her in a firm hug, encasing her in his hold, afraid she was going to disappear from him.

"Hana, this isn't the end, we still have many memories to make." He rushed.

"No matter what, I will always be here for you. I will always be by your side." He murmured into her hair, slowly her arms hugged him back, patting his back in a slow comforting rhythm, she smiled into the hug.

"Thank you Jungkook, I know you will." She nuzzled into his hug and she let them stay like that for a while. A comforting hug that the both of them needed.

He tried his best to remember everything about her, her scent, the feel of her body against his, her soft skin and silky locks. Everything, he never wanted to lose that feeling. He held onto her as if she was going to disappear right then and there.

"Jungkook, I'm still here." She assured him and continued to pat his back soothingly.

"I know, I just want to stay like this a little longer." He sighed contently relaxing into her touch.

He could feel her giggle before a small chuckle erupted from himself too. Her laughs were contagious, they were bubbly and uplifting. She decided to relish this moment, nuzzling her face into the crook of his neck, his scent overwhelming her, feeling his protective arms around her.

She never felt safer and more loved than in this moment.

"Jaehyun, why haven't you gone to see your sister?" Sena asked the tired doctor slouched upon a lab table. He didn't answer her as he was too focused on a microscope.

"Jaehyun, you need to rest. Your sister is worried about you since you haven't visited." She sternly says.

Jaehyun finally complies and slumps back, taking off and placing his lab glasses down.

"You've been working in here since they announced the change in law. Dr Jaehyun, you still have other patients." She sighed disappointedly.

"I know Sena. This is just very important to me. The scientists from Europe have found a breakthrough in their discovery for the cure of this vicious auto immune disease and we are so close to finding it." He got up and grabbed Sena's arms shaking it gently, a wide smile plastered on his face even if he had eyes bags for days. "Sena, we may finally be able to find a cure for Hana." He beamed.

She didn't share the same excitement he did and just sighed and returned a sad smile back, reaching up to cup the mans face.

"Dear, please you need some rest. And please see your sister sometime, she misses you."

Jaehyun's smile fades and just nods, he lets go of Sena and slumps his shoulders. "You're right. I should take a break." He concedes before returning to his usual sweet smile. "Thank you Sena, tell Hana I'll see her soon, I guess I should get some rest." He stretches into a yawn.

Jaehyun finally walks away, leaving Sena in the lab. Unfortunately although good news, she didn't want to keep her hopes up. The last time there was a form of breakthrough in the cure, it only lead to disappointment. The previous trial tests lead to numerous complications and side affects to the patients that volunteered and Sena couldn't imagine the horror if Hana had been one of them. She was relieved that Jaehyun wasn't too hasty but it terrified her because time was running out.

A/N: I miss her brother. I am upset that he's slowly driving himself insane because he cares about her too much and is in dire need to find the cure.

Jungkook is honestly one of my favourite characters, his feelings are raw and real. Although I must confess,

Yeontan is the true favourite
