*I'm sorry about the late update. Life has been crazy and very upsetting. I'm also slammed with working every single day. I'll try and keep the updates on Sunday or somewhere very close to Sunday. I hope you enjoy this long update!*

I woke up feeling really sick.I as quickly as I could made it to my bathroom before I threw up.I sat there for a few minutes trying to calm my stomach before I pounded my hand against the wall of my bathroom that was connected to my dads room.A minute or two later my dad came in.

"What's wrong?"

"I feel really sick."

"Get back into bed and I'll go make you some hot tea."

"Thank you."

I brushed my teeth quickly before fumbling into bed again.A few minutes later my dad came in again.

"I'm gonna place it on your bedside table for it to cool down.Go ahead and relax I'm gonna call the school, Lydia, and then work."

"Dad you don't need to take off.I'm just going to sleep all day.If I need you I'll call I promise."

"You know I don't like leaving you alone."

"I know dad but one day you're not going to have a choice.I promise I'll be okay."

"Fine but call me if anything happens."

"I will."

I felt him kiss my forehead before leaving my room and shutting the door.I took a few sips of my tea before rolling over in bed and falling back to sleep.
　

I woke up a little out of it and feeling a bit better.I felt around for my phone and had it read out the time.It was around the end of the school day.I got out of bed and slowly made my way downstairs still not feeling great.I made it to the kitchen and felt around in the cabnets for the bread.Once I found it I put it in the toaster and looked around for the peanut butter.I spun around to go put it on the table when I heard a growl.I froze and dropped the peanut butter.

"H-Hello?"

I screamed when something ran into me knocking me over.I felt it's weight on top of me and felt its breath fanning over my face.

"P-Please."

"Derek Hale."

I screamed out again as I felt something scratch my arm.It jumped off of me and ran off to who knows where.I pulled myself up and into the corner craddling my arm while tears spilled out.

Derek's P.O.V

I was annoyed when I heard Scott's voice ring out around the house.

"Derek!Derek!Stay away from her!She doesn't know anything!"

I walked around the corner and jumped down the steps.I took his lacrosse stick and fiddled with the string.

"Yeah?What if she does?You think your little buddy Stiles can just google werewolves and now you got all the answers,is that it?You don't get it yet,Scott,but I'm looking out for you.Think about what could happen.You're out on the field.The aggression takes over.And you shift infront of everyone.Your mom,all your friend.And when they see you..."

I ripped the strings of his lacrosse stick and threw it at him.

"...everything falls apart."

"I heard you talking to Alice yesterday in the school.Stay away from her.She doesn't know anything."

"You're the one that needs to stay away from her.You guys have caused her enough trouble.Don't make scaring her for life be another thing you two do to her."

I turned to walk back into the house when I heard a distant scream.It sounded a lot like Alice.I shook it off until I heard another.I took off running towards her house.I went in through her window and looked around.I didn't see her but I could hear her heart racing and smell blood coming from downstairs.I raced downstairs and saw her curled up in the corner holding her bleeding arm.I went up to her and carefully placed a hand on her shoulder.She immediately flinched away from me.

"Hey it's just me.I'm here."

Alice's P.O.V

I flinched away when someone touched my shoulder.

"Hey it's just me.I'm here."

I shuffled closer to Derek and he wrapped his arms around me.I was gripping onto his arm for dear life terrified that thing would come back.He was running his hand through my hair which was calming me down.After a little while the majority of my tears were gone.

"What happened?"

"S-Something attacked me."

"Do you know what it was?Or who?"

"You'll think I'm crazy."

"I promise nothing you tell me will make me think you're crazy."

"I thought it was an animal that had gotten in somehow.I heard it growl and then it tackled me.I-I thought it was going to kill me but it said something to me."

"What did it say?"

I pulled back alittle and looked down.

"It said your name."

"My name?"

"Yeah.I know I sound absolutely crazy but it's true."

"You don't sound crazy at all.What happened after it said my name?"

"It scratched my arm and left."

"Let's get your arm cleaned up and then I need to tell you some things.You're going to think I'm crazy but if this thing came after you then you need to know."

I nodded my head.He helped me stand up and helped me up to my room.I sat down on my bed.

"Do you have a first aid kit?"

"Under the sink in the bathroom."

He walked off and I heard the sink running.A minute later he came back.I felt a wet wash cloth cleaning the scratches on my arm.

"They aren't deep so you won't need stitches."

"Good.I'd rather not deal with my dad never leaving me alone again."

"Why were you home alone?"

"I was really sick this morning.I had been sleeping all day until this happened."

"You're gonna hate me for saying this but I don't reccomend being alone."

"Trust me.That's the last thing I want right now."

I felt the bandage being placed on my arm.

"You're arm should be okay.Try not to hit it or anything."

"I'll try.Now will you tell me what that thing was?"

"First you need to know what Scott and I are.What my family was."

"What?"

"Do you believe in the supernatural?"

"I don't really know.I believe anything is possible.Why?"

"I was born into the gene, but Scott was bitten.The night you 3 were in the woods."

"What gene?"

"Werewolf gene."

"Werewolves?"

"Yes."

"I really want to believe you because of that thing that attacked me.But the expression 'seeing is believing' keeps coming to mind and I don't have that priveledge."

"Do you trust me?"

"Yes."

"Give me your hand."

I held out my hand to him.

"I know you can't see it but you can feel it."

"Feel what?"

I felt him take my hand.I felt something sharp and pointy touching parts of my hand.

"What is that?"

"They're claws.Because I have control I can make them come out when I want or need them."

"Woah.Is that all that happens?"

"Parts of my face change as well.Fangs,pointed ears,more hair.It's not the most amazing sight to see."

"Can I see?"

"What?"

"Sorry I guess that is a wierd way to ask.There's a way for my to see mental images.It's kind of like how I pick out clothes.I feel them and that's how I can picture the color and pattern of them."

"What do you need to do?"

"Just stay still and keep your wolfie face."

"Okay.So long as you never call it a wolfie face."

I smiled.

"Fine.I'll find a better name."

I stood up and moved so I was standing infront of where he was seated on the bed.

"Can you put my hands on your shoulders?I don't want to hit you on accident."

I felt him lift my hands to his shoulders.I slowly and carefully slid them to his face.I started at his forehead and slowly glided my hands down his face.I felt hair on his face but I couldn't be certain if it was because of his change or not since I didn't have a mental image of him before.I slid one of my hands to his ear.The tip of it was more pointy.I slowly and carefully slid my hand to the side of his lip.I felt around a bit and felt that he had his lips covering his teeth and fangs.

"Don't hide them.I want to see."

I felt his mouth slowly open.I felt his fangs coming out some.Once I was pretty sure I had felt everything I pulled my hands back.I had a mental image of him now only he was in wolf form.

"That's amazing."

"It has it's moments."

"Scott's like you?"

"He was bit by the thing that attacked you.He's adjusting but he doesn't want to accept my help.It's going to end up getting him or someone else killed."

"How come that thing didn't bite or kill me?"

I felt Derek tense up.

"It's called an alpha.Scott and I are betas.He's trying to get Scott to join his pack.At some point he'll probably try to get me."

"Do you have a pack?"

"I did.After the fire my older sister became alpha.Whoever this alpha is killed her to get her power."

"I'm sorry Derek."

"Don't be.There's nothing you could have done.And he probably didn't attack you because of me."

"What do you mean?"

"If he would have bit or killed you he would have guarenteed that I wouldn't join his pack.Scott wouldn't have either but since he said my name he must have been aiming for me."

"Is it going to come after me again?"

I started shaking a little in fear.I felt Derek grip my arms gently.

"I don't know.But I promise I'll try my best to keep you safe.I have something for you."

"For me?"

He shuffled around a bit before a small box was placed in my hand.I felt around before pulling the top off of it.I felt the inside and felt a necklase.It had 2 charms on it.One felt like an animal and the other felt like some type of swirl.

"What are they?"

"One's a wolf and the other is called a triskelion.It means different things to different people.To me it means alpha,beta,omega.If you're wearing this the alpha will know not to hurt you because it'll push me away.It says Hale on the back so if you ever get into any supernatural trouble they'll come to me."

"Thank you."

"Thank my mom actually.It used to be hers before the fire.I found it hidden under the stairs.It had your name on it.I think she wanted to give it to you when you were little."

"If it was your moms then you should keep it."

"No.She wanted you to have it.I want you to have it as well.It'll give you some extra protection."

"Thank you."

"Turn around and I'll put it on you."

I held out the box for him to take.Once he did I turned around and lifted up my hair.I felt his fingers lightly brush against the back of my neck.

"There."

I reached up and felt it hanging nicely around my neck.I smiled slightly.

"I'll take care of it."

"I know you will.Your brother just pulled up.I gotta go."

"Thank you for telling me everything and for helping me."

"You're welcome.I'll come by Saturday night to check on you."

"I have the game but I'll be here after."

"Alright.Bye Alice."

"Bye Der."

I heard the window shut after him and I sat back down on the bed.I got bored after awhile and grabbed my laptop.I put in a movie and got back into bed listening to the descriptions until I fell asleep.
