"M'lady" Aaron said with an English accent. He had walked a little faster than me so he could open the car passeneger door. I laughed gently and shook my head at him.

"Why thank you kind sir. I just might have to reward you for being such a gentlemen" I winked hoping he would get the hint. I saw his eyes widen in bewilderment. I stepped past him and entered the car. He closed the door after me, rounded the car to drivers seat and put it drive.

"Hey Aaron?" I asked turning to him

"Mhmm" he responded

"I was wondering if we could make one stop before prom" I said, while fidgeting with my hands. It was a common habit I have when I get nervous.

"Depends...where do you want to go?" He slowly asked.

"The cemetery"

He took his eyes off the road and looked at me"You want to see your dad" he stated. She I didn't respond he took my hand in his and gently squeezed it. "Babe of course you can see your dad"

I have him a small smile and reached over to plant a kiss on his cheek. "Thank you"

A few minutes later we pulled up outside the cemetery yard. "You can wait here. I will only be a few minutes" I said while unfastening my seat belt.

"Are you sure?" He worryingly asked.

"Yes" I laughed. I opened the car door and closed it shut. I then picked up dress so it wouldn't drag across the floor too much a d walked past the car. After about a thirty second walk I finally made it to my fathers grave stone. My eyes immediately zeroed onto his picture on his grave stone. "Hey dad" I whispered. I bent down but only squatted down so I wouldn't get my dress dirty. "I'm sorry for not visitng sooner" my bottom lip started quivering. I closed my eyes.

"Get a grip Sierra" I said in my head. I reeopend my eyes and blinked the tears that had formed in my eyes away.

" I just wanted to let you know that not a second goes by where I don't think of you. Mom told me a few days ago that when I was born you said you couldn't wait till the day I go to prom. She also specifically said that your plan was to scare off my date and then you would go with me instead" I laughed, shaking my head at the bizzare idea he had. I continued talking to him until I realised that I've been here for over five minutes. "I have to go dad" I said standing up. "I miss you and I love you so much" I looked at his grave stone one last time before turning and walked away.

As I approached Aaron's car he stepped out and walked over to the passenger door to open it.  "You don't have to do that you know" I chuckled, slipping into the black leather seats.

"I know but I want to. Plus my mom said I have to be extra gentlemen like today" he laughed. He closed the door and  got imto his seat. He turned on the engine but we weren't moving. I moved my head to the side and noticed him looking at me.

"What's wrong?" I asked

"Are you Ok?" He replied with a question. I sighed and looked down at my newly manicured nails. "Not really, no but having you here with me is honestly helping" I smiled. I found my arm stretching out towards him. My elbow landed on the back of his seat and my fingers made my way to his hair. He leaned over and his warm lips found mine. His lips moved in harmony with mine. His hand found the back of my neck, bringing me closer towards him. His mouth left mine and next thing I knew his lips were on my neck. I let out a gasp at the feeling of his warm mouth on my bare skin. I closed my eye in ecstasy and couldn't help but let out a moan. His lips found mine again. I gently started sucking on his lower lip and bit it.

"Fuck" he rasped under his breath. I pulled away and finally got a breath.

"We should probably start going now" I said pointing to the road. He cleared his throat and nodded. I slouched back against my seat and he drove off

"Where the hell have you guys been?" Veronica asked with utter curiosity laced in her voice. She was with Josh and had a drink in her hand.

"Uhhhhhh" I looked at Aaron and then back at her. "We had to make a quick stop at the cemetery" I said

"Uh huh. Your neck is telling me a different story" she said narrowing her eyes. "Don't tell me you two had a quickie before coming here"

Josh started laughing and fist bumped Aaron. I whacked his chest and glared at him. He immediately wiped his smirk off his face and shook his head rapidly. I rolled my eyes and returned my vase to veronica.

"no of course not. The cemetery part was true but then...things sort of happened?" I explained with a nervous laugh.

"So what you're telling me is that you made out at a cemetery, where the dead are buried?" She asked slowly

"OK enough with the interrogation. Let's dance" I quickly said trying to change the subject. We all made our way into the dance1 floor where we found the others dancing. The rest of night was filled with dancing, drinking and taking way too many photographs and videos. The music started to fade away slowly and our school principle made her way to the stage.

"Good evening all. I hope you are all enjoying yourselves tonight. This is the moment a lot of you have been waiting for. It's time to crown this year's PROM king and queen" the principle said in a monotone voice. Her disinterest was quite obvious.

"Oh my God! She's going to announce prom king and queen" Veronica said nervously. Her hand latched onto mine a little too tightly.

"So she said" I laughed but I only ended up getting a glare from her. I sighed and grabbed her shoulders. "Vee don't worry you and Josh are going to win"

"I'm not scared about Josh. Unlike me, he is popular and everyone likes him. Of course he will win but me on the other hand..." She trailed off.

"Stop stressing you will be fine. Ok?" I asked. She simply nodded her head and looked back at the stage.

"And your PROM king is.... Joshua Kingsley" The principle announced. Everyone started clapping and cheering for him. Before he went up to the stage he went over to Veronica and planted a kiss on her cheek. He walked up to the stage and his crown was placed on his head. "And your PROM queen is.... Rachel Forbes" Her minions were the only ones cheering her on. As she made her way down the dance floor she stopped in front Veronica.

"Better luck next time bitch" she smirked and continued walking with her obnoxiously loud heels. I looked at veronica and she looked so upset but she quickly masked it with a blank face. Rachel is the biggest man stealer I've ever met. First Aaron and now Josh. The song for the prom king and queen came on shortly after. Josh looked over at Veronica apologetically. She gave him a small smile and nodded. She then walked back to our table, sat down and downed her drink in one gulp.

"You ok?" I asked

"Yeah just a bit shit isn't it" she laughed. That's one thing I loved about Veronica. She always saw the funny side of things in every situation regardless of how bad it is. Not even thirty seconds later I saw Josh walk up to us. Veronica followed my gaze and landed on him. He stopped in front of her.

"I know you weren't voted prom queen but in my eyes you will always be my queen" he then stretched his hand forward. "Will you have this dance with me?"

All the girls immediately started gushing at his romantic gesture. Veronica couldn't contain her smile and placed her hand in his. Out of nowhere Rachel stormed over to us but held her tiara tight to her head. "Josh you can't do this. This song is meant for the prom king and queen and last time I checked I'm the one with the crown not her" she fumed. I swear this girl loves embarrassing herself.

"Rachel do this whole school a favour and fuck off" Josh sneered. He grabbed Veronicas waist and walked past her. I couldn't help but let out a snicker at Rachel's face. She glared at me and stormed off. Her minions followed soon after.

I sat down in my chair and looked over at the two who looked madly in love. As I took a sip of my drink, Aaron walked over. "Since when was Josh soft?" He scoffed but no could tell deep down that he was really happy for his best friend

"He learnt from the best"

"Are you implying that I'm soft?" He asked with a raised eyebrow.

"That's exactly what I'm implying" I said with a cheeky grin.

He then leaned over and brought his face close to my ear "You weren't saying that in my bed a few days ago" he whispered lowly in my ear. I nearly choked on my drink when he said that. He pulled back with a smirk on his face.

"Dance with me?" He asked. He stood up and held out his hand. I placed my half empty drink on the table. He grasped my hand and led me out to the dance floor where other couples were now slow dancing. We gently swayed to the music and couldn't help but notice him staring intensely at me.

"What's wrong?"I frowned.

"Nothing I'm just realising how grateful I am for everything, our friends but especially for you" he said. I'm so lucky that it was dark in the room otherwise you would be able to see my bright red cheeks from a mile away. "You know I love you right?"

I smiled and nodded "I love you"

Heyyyyy lovelies. Finally got another chapter in. The book is nearly ending! Just a few more chapters to go. Also I've no idea what the school system in America is like. I realised that I may have skipped graduation but it's all good. Let me know what you thought of this chapter and don't forget to vote.
