Sorry for the long wait for this chapter!

Johan gave one last wave to his family and got in the car. I sat in the back seat with him while the chauffeur drove us to the airport. It was still quite early in the morning so I wasn't surprised when Johan shifted and rested his head on the car door he seemed to be comfortable but to top it off, he threw his legs over mine. I laughed and rested my head on the back of my seat. I was too excited to sleep so I put in headphones and turned on my music to play from Queen B's playlist. I pulled out War and Peace and read while Beyoncé's songs played.
As I was getting deeply immersed in the book I felt a tap on my shoulder. I pulled out my headphones and looked at Johan

"I thought you were sleeping." I said.

"I was until the car stopped." He told me and pointed out the window. I was so into the book that I failed to realize we were at the airport already. I got out of the car and went around to open the door for Johan. I took his hand and we thanked the chauffeur before walking inside. "A private airport, Ted?"

"Only the best for you babe." I said. I had originally planned for us to fly at a regular airport but I learned a few days ago that my parents private jet had finished repairs and was tested safe to fly. So of course this was better than any gross public planes.

Paul hauled our suitcases behind us while Johan and I walked to the elevator. I put for top for and we began our ascent. At the top there was a total of three jets waiting and I led Johan to the largest one at the back.

"Your family owns this?" Johan asked in utter astonishment.

"Yup." I said. As we walked up to it, the captain, Amir, opened the door and dropped down the steps.

"Ted! So lovely to see you again!" He kissed both my cheeks which made me go red in the face and then he turned to Johan. "You must be the boyfriend I've heard so much about. Nice to meet you son!" Then he proceeded to kiss both of Johan's cheeks as well. Amir was always an excited fellow. "Come come!" He beckoned us on to the jet. As we stepped on, Amir took our bags from Paul and pulled them on to the plane. I waved goodbye to Paul before Amir pulled in the steps and closed the door.

"Welcome to Baxter Airlines! Destination-"

I coughed loudly before Amir could give away the secret. Johan glared at me but I just laughed and put my arm around his waist.

"Destination Unknown." Amir finished. "Sit back and relax and we will be there before you know it."

I gave Johan a minute to take in everything. Soft leather seating lined the plane and a snack bar waited at the back. Private sections at the rear of the plane lead to bedrooms for overnight flights and bathrooms. There were flat screen TVs at the front for in house entertainment.

All Johan was able to say was "wow." I led him over to the seats and we got comfortable.

"Can I get you boys anything?" Laura, the flight attendant came up to us.

"Yeah, two chocolate milkshakes." I said.

"Coming right up sir."

Johan was still gaping around at the plane when Laura came back with the smoothies. I sipped st mine then said; "now relax and enjoy the ride."

His attention focused on the window and he jumped. "We're already in the air?" I snorted.

"Yeah."

"Oh my goodness."

His enthusiasm was contagious. Truth was, I was still in awe of this plane sometimes and the fact that my family owned it.

"So Ted."

"Hmm?"

"Can you reveal the surprise now?"

"Nope."

"Can I at least know the general direction we are heading?"

"Nope."

"Can I at least know how long the fight is?"

I unbuckled my seatbelt that I put on at the start of the flight and got up. I kissed Johan on the cheek and then flipped on the flat screen and pressed play. Up popped the 3rd Harry Potter movie that I was watching last time I flew on this jet. I walked over to the other side of the plane and sat down at one of the tables and pulled out my laptop.

"Since when do you like Harry Potter?" Johan asked.

"Since always. I have all the books at home."

"Whoa, who knew my boyfriend is a secret book nerd. It's kinda hot." He said with a wink.

"Only kinda?"

"Extremely hot." He corrected.

"Better." I said.

On my laptop, I pulled up the locations and information on Rosanna and emailed it to my phone then I shut the device away. I walked back over to Johan who was enraptured by the movie and leaned into him. He threw his arm over my shoulder and we watched as Harry stormed off into the night after blowing his aunt up like a balloon.

The flight was roughly 7 hours so I took a nap that I missed out on in the car and when I opened my eyes the jet was rolling to a stop. Johan was sleeping adorably next to me. I gently tapped him awake.

"Now are you going to tell me where I am?" He asked while stretching.

I didn't respond but leaned over like I was going to kiss him, and snuck a hand toward my pocket. Once he closed his eyes I whipped a blindfold out of my picked and slapped it over his eyes and tied it behind his head.

Johan gasped in surprise and then stayed still. "You gotta be kidding."

When I finished I leaned over and gave him that kiss. "Nope."

"Ted..."

"You're such a whiner! I stood up and pulled him along with me. The plane had stopped and the captain opened up the steps.

"Have a fantastic trip sirs. I'll be waiting here when you return." He saluted me and then got back on the jet.

I adjusted Johan's blindfold to make sure he couldn't see a thing, then led him into a car that I had waiting. The car was toasty and warm compared to the slight chill from outside. This was not my first time in Paris, but the time before I didn't get the chance to really explore the beauty of the place.

"Ted?"

I looked over at Johan, who had his head rested against the window. "Yeah?"

"I gotta piss."

I bust out laughing. "We'll be arriving shortly." I informed him. There was a fancy restaurant not far from the Eifel Tower so I would take him there.

As we got closer and closer to the tower I got more and more excited as Johan became more and more restless. He was dying to see where we were.

The car finally stopped and Johan's hands flew up to his blindfold but I stopped him. "Not yet."

I climbed out of the car and walked around to open Johan's side and help him out since he couldn't see. Paris was beautiful at this time of night. The stars were shining and there were lights everywhere. The Eifel Tower stood bright and tall in the center of the town. I signalled the driver to wait and took my boyfriend's hand, leading him towards the Iron Lady. Once in front of it and at the perfect spot, I snuck my hand up and removed his blindfold. Johan blinked at the sudden light and then gasped, clapping his hand over his mouth.

"Pinch me, I must be dreaming." He said and then to my surprise, tears welled up in his eyes and he threw his arms around my neck and kissed me deeply. When he pulled away his eyes were shining just as bright as the stars. "you brought me home." He said.

I brushed some of his tears away and smiled, kissing his cheek.  "Yeah." I said. "But that's not my only surprise."

"It's not?"

"The true reason I bought you here is to find your mother. I had my dad do a little bit of research and I found her last known location."

Johan smiled widely and then rested his forehead against my chest. "You really do win boyfriend of the year."

"It's getting late so we can search for her in the morning..." I suggested but Johan shook his head.

"I want to take you on a tour of the city. We're here for two weeks right? We can look for her the day after tomorrow." He slipped his hands around my waist and held me close. "I wanna spend the day with my boyfriend in the city of love."

I actually felt my cheeks go red. "But..."

"Ted, I've been waiting 10 years to see her. I can wait one more day."

I smiled and kissed him. "Alright fine. Then let's go to the hotel and get some rest."

I linked arms with him and we walked back to my car.
