"I told you Mr. RoyChoudhury, you didn't need to bring Mrs. Roychoudhury Here. She would have been fine!" Dr. Sanyal smile at the anxious husband standing in front him.

"I just wanted to make sure." Suvro spoke sheepishly sitting down on the chair opposite of Dr. Sanyal's desk. Doctor smiled again and then his eyes landed on the lady, about whom they were talking- standing a bit far at the doorstep and looking at her husband. Her gaze were penetrating at Suvro's back but her expression was unreadable, though a frown of irritation

Dr. Sanyal ushered her to sit and quiet gingerly she settled on the chair beside Suvro leaving a little gap between.

Taking a look of Tuli doctor asked, "how are you feeling Mrs. Roychoudhury?"

The constant reminder of the surname 'Roychoudhury' behind her 'Mrs.' status was thrusting a needle inside her core.

"Just the way I was supposed to be." Tulika smiled looking at the doctor.

Dr. Sanyal cringed at the coldness of the lady's tone. He nodded and asked some routine questions of Tuli's food and medicine schedules and did some check ups. Suvro answered most of the question while Tuli remained sitting there. Her eyebrows remained furrowed.

"Have you considered about help of the therapy?"

Doctor's this particular question perked up Tuli's ears.

"I have. And I wanted to talk to you about it, if you can have a talk with him first about our situation, it would be great I think..." Suvro answered.

Tuli didn't hear what the doctor answer. Her all attention was on one person. Suvro!

"Do you think I am crazy?" The first thing she asked after coming out of the doctor's chamber. Her voice grabbed almost all the attention of the lobby.

Shuvro turned around shockingly hearing her.

Her eyes was flaring up furiously as they burnt on him.

He took a step towards her to minimise the gap between and asked in normal voice looking confused, "what?"

"You think I need some therapy? Why can't you just let me be?" She yelled again.

"Why are you screaming?" Suvro asked looking around. His face turned cringing red as he witnessed many of the eyes at his direction. One thing Suvro Roychoudhury couldn't take well is public humiliation. "We will go home and then you..."

"Then you what? What exactly are you expecting me to do?"

"Tuli relax. I have not done anything for you to react like this."

"You are so much into public opinion, so much of your goody to show image..."

"Lets go home"

"That's not mine."

Suvro's face resembled with a beetroot out of the utter embarrassment. He could feel all the eyes in the lobby directed at him. He imagined how much of a looser must they were thinking him as. He almost imagined all the smiles and whispers towards him. He felt suffocated. He was never good with such things, and as his best friend Tuli knew that very well. He looked at her; but there was no mercy in her black mad eyes.

Licking his lips once he started storming out of the place.

Tuli looked at the retreating figure of him clenching her jaw. She saw him to walk out of the glass door. Her head seemed to be exploding. Her chest pounded up and down heavily as rage fuelled more seeing him walking off. She decided to not to give a damn and go her home and scream at her parents. All she wanted was all to just stop interfering in her life. It was her god damn life! It was up to her. She stormed towards the glass door. Coming out she about call a cab but just then Suvro's white ford fiesta pulled over in front of her.

"Spare me from further humiliation and get in." He growled not looking at her directly.

Biting her lower lip she took a moment to decide and then slide onto the passenger seat.

"Oh did that just gave a scratch on your iceberg like ego?" She smiled sarcastically and clenching his jaw he pulled off the car.

"Put your seat belt on!" He growled again.

"Do you think I care?"

"Put that on Tuli or I swear..."

"You swear what? What else is there for you to do that can possibly make my life a game of football? What exactly do you think you can do to make me forget him? I will never ever stop loving him. You will never be able to do that I promise you. You can appoint thousands of therapists, hypnotists, or may be a god damn witch, I swear it will..."

Her long monologue came to end abruptly as he pulled a sudden break.

"Are you seriously even an educated woman? The same girl who got into medical school with flying colours?" Suvro snapped turning towards her with a painful expression that was caused by irritation, confusion and surprise, that a girl like Tulika was comparing therapists with witches. "Go and ask uncle and aunty to demand refund of all those money they spend on your education. And who the fuck grant your research appreciation...?"

"Sut your mouth up..."

"How can someone so educated think that therapist are to make people forget there 'love of life'" he enacted the inverted commas and regretted instantly.

"Why did you do that?" Tuli enacted the inverted commas asking the question.

Suvro acted as if he did hear her, and continued speaking in a soft tone, "you need help Tuli, and I will do everything that is possible whether you agree or not."

Tulika made a face and looked away, "no one can help me." She mumbled inaudibly.

"And I know how much you love him, trust me!" Suvro chuckled humourlessly not hearing her. "I am not under any delusion that may be one fine morning you will forget him and start loving me. It just that..." he sighed hopelessly about the fact he was about to say. "It just that you... just that I am unable to move on from you Tuli. I promise you so many times I feel like I myself behaving like some psychopath. I don't know what is it... It's not like you are ever gonna even love me. Not even the half portion that you feel for him..." he ran his fingers through his hair. "But you see there's this guy of ten year that won't grow over you, that is just hopelessly in love with you and won't give up believing in a morning in which you will just fall for me, magically. This guy just doesn't listen to me..." last few lines came out as whisper and prolonged a long silence.

Tuli kept sitting looking out of the window and Suvro kept looking forward, his finger trailing some design on the steering wheel.

After some times he geared up the car again. The rest of the ride was covered by utter silence as Tuli's window was forming thick fog...
