After that days were going on in the same perpetual way. Suvro's day started with looking for whether his wife had taken breakfast or not. After that he would take his, then he would shower and then would nag Tulika to go to work which she would ignore studiously behaving like she hadn't even heard him. And then he would go to his office.
On the other hand Tulika would spend all her day sitting or lying on the bed, force-fed, getting nagged by Suvro, avoiding him, and then she would take a shower, and then at the bed again. These days she it felt hard for her to leave the bed, it felt useless to leave the room.
She would stay in the dark till Chaya or Manisha would come in her room to turn on some lights.
Though even in the office Suvro would never be able to get the worries out of him. He would be constantly on phone with Chaya asking whether Tulika was fed, bathed, or for the sake of god alive.
The deadbody like behaviour of Tulika was never leaving one chance freak him out. And not being able to be around of her was increasing it more.
And then he would return home around seven of the evening. Earlier Chaya used to leave by then, but because of Tulika the ladu stayed by herself till Suvro would return, just like the initial days of him loosing his parents. And then she would leave giving Suvro an assuring smile.
And then Suvro would go and have a peep of Tulika. Some days she would just be sitting on the rocking chair or lying on the bed. After freshing up he would come down to the living room and turn up the Tv grabbing some snacks, but his eyes will go run towards her room. But trying to initiate any kind of coversation gave him panic attacks that again assuming some hint of intimacy Tuli would try to leave him.
Basically in his life nothing has changed except a big change of a responsibility and another living heart in his house.
But dinner time was different.
The first night he though again he would need to drag Tuli till the table, but when he approached her she directly walked upto the table and got settled filling her plate with foods.
They would have the dinner together every night but none would speak.
But then having another living soul at the dinner table was enough for him, that too when it was Tulika.

"Give her some time, it will be alright."Abir shrugged leaving a series of smoke rings out. He was Suvro's collegue and one those very few human with whom Shuvro could open up a little.
"She can have all the time she wants, Abir, but her this atire is killing me. You haven't seen her before... she was so vibrant the this gloomy side of her is painful even watching, I can't  even imagine what's she is going through." Suvro sighed and then got a shiver of fear hearing own word. He spoke up quickly, "And I don't want to even..."
"And what about the thing you are going through." Abir was frustrated seeing his best friend in a dead end relationship. He tried so much convincing before the marriage, but all proofed to be futile. "I mean I know how much you love her man! And she won't understand that? And mourn over..." He couldn't utter more, but looked away.
"You only said to give her time." Suvro chuckled humourlessly. Abir scoffed and walked up to the coffee machine.

"Have you considered the therapy?" After a round of coffee the rational person inside Abir asked.
"I have, but I am afraid of asking her about it." Suvro's voice made Abir chuckling.
And days were treating in this manner to them.

"We need to go to your house tomorrow." It was on the seventh day of their marriage Suvro gathered all his courage again to talk to his wife at the dinner table. "Kalima said she called you... so be ready in the morning?"
"Okay." Came a reply curtly from her grumpy tone. She replied with out looking at him.
Yet the reply at first startled him so much that he stopped to stare to look at her to be sure she replied or not, or he heard a noise.
Unsurely he tried to converse once again, "kakima said we should get there by eleven. So be ready around ten..." he was unser whether to put a fulstop or a question at the end.
This time Tulika looked up at him and gave him a node before walking towards the sink with her empty plate leaving him staring at her with wide eyes...
